GGuest UserWe stayed in an ocean view room. It was very close to the sea, and the view from the lanai was absolutely stunning. I think it was one of the ocean view rooms with the best views, being so close to the ocean. I'm very grateful that we were allocated this particular room. The housekeeping staff were also very friendly and pleasant, which made our stay enjoyable. The location was also excellent, close to the Duke Kahanamoku statue in the heart of Waikiki. The only downsides were that there was no explanation about the resort points we were supposed to receive as part of our stay. Also, we booked three rooms for six people, but due to their system, we could only process payment for one room at a time. This meant I couldn't use the same credit card for the second room and had to scramble. I'd recommend bringing enough credit cards for each room you book. These two minor issues were a bit disappointing, so I deducted one star from the service rating.

RRobertKona Village is just the best! When we arrived we were taken on a cart tour of the resort by the bellman Shanen, who dropped us off at “Hale 1” - one of only two legacy hales. At our first turndown service, the housekeeping staff left an entire collection of 7 refrigerator magnets. The outstanding service continued at the activity shed Kilo Kai, where one day Cam took us out on a private snorkeling expedition and the next day ‘Pu took me out canoe paddling and set me up on a stand up paddle board. We attended the Island Roots dinner the night of our arrival - the food was excellent and we were all seated at one table so the interactions with the other guests were easy and pleasant. Staff members Jose and Daniela dined with us, as if welcoming us to their home. We were there to celebrate my wife’s milestone birthday, and when we arrived at our room late that night they left a bottle of champagne and mini birthday cake for us. The pools and on site restaurants were great. All around excellent from start to finish.

This time, I chose a room with a kitchen, so I could easily cook whatever I craved 🍳💕 The room was spotlessly cleaned every day ✨ It's super convenient for shopping and browsing nearby, and the beach is just a few steps away 🏝️🌊 Every day I got to enjoy the sea breeze and ocean views – I absolutely love it here 🥰 If I ever come back to Hawaii, I'd definitely want to stay here again 🌺

DdmidmiI had seen a lot of negative reviews on various platforms before, but I didn't experience any of those issues myself.
1. I checked in earlier than the official time. The front desk staff was very friendly and explained that my room was still being cleaned, so I couldn't check in immediately. I left my luggage and went out shopping. While I was out, the hotel called to say my room was ready, which was earlier than the standard check-in time.
2. I discussed my room preferences with the front desk, and I was pleasantly surprised when I got to my room. It felt much better than what I had booked.

KkimsoulThe view of the hotel facing the sea is very beautiful, and the view of the Makai golf venue next door is also beautiful. The hotel windowsill can look at the sea, and many people surf every morning and evening. Valet parking and resort fees need to be paid to the hotel separately, but are good value for money. The device is indeed out of date, it is still the charger for iphone4, but you can go to the supermarket in Princeville Center to rent a DVD. Soak in the hotel and don't want to go anywhere.

GGuest UserThis hotel isn't ideal if you're on a tight schedule or looking for a budget-friendly option, but it's absolutely perfect for a relaxing getaway. You have the choice of self or valet parking. The sunset at Hapuna Beach is breathtaking, with the entire coastline visible. The hotel offers a good range of restaurants, from affordable to high-end, which is quite reasonable.

GGuest UserWell it’s just time for a renovation at the Grand Wailea. All the little slides to connect each pool are closed. The Grotto spa is closed. Phone in the room didn’t work and keys stopped working on the first day for the door. With that said it’s still a nice place and can still have plenty of fun. If you haven’t been in a year or more, you will probably be disappointed. We normally go every year for at least one day and it’s slowly declining. The attached pic is considered ocean view just for reference.
