About Aeromexico
Aeroméxico, officially known as Aerovías de México, S.A. de C.V., is Mexico's flagship airline. Founded on September 14, 1934, the airline is headquartered in Torre MAPFRE, Mexico City. Its main hubs are Mexico City International Airport and Monterrey International Airport. Aeroméxico operates over 600 daily flights, serving more than 1,000 destinations in over 177 countries across Mexico, the United States, Canada, Central & South America, Europe, and Asia. The airline became a founding member of the SkyTeam alliance in 2000, enhancing its global connectivity. Aeroméxico has undergone several transformations since its inception, including nationalization in 1959 and privatization in 2007. Despite facing bankruptcy due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the airline continues to operate under a restructuring plan. Now with over 14,000 staff members, Aeroméxico aims to be a socially responsible corporation to offer best flying experience for passengers.
