The location of the hotel is perfect . It is within walking distance from airport exit. You can wheel your luggage cart to the hotel. Checking-in hotel was fast. All hotel staffs are very efficient and helpful. Since this is our second stay in the hotel in one month, Anna offered us free upgrade room from Barony Park hotel to Grand Barony hotel. Room is spacious and clean. Bed is very comfortable. There’s shower and bath tub. Shower water pressure is pretty powerful. Breakfast has many options (Chinese breakfast and Western style). They’re all fresh cooked. Overall we are very happy with the quality of the hotel and will recommend it to anyone who visits Qingdao.

Here's an interesting fact for fellow Americans who grew up with Holiday Inn: the Holiday Inn chain in China is nothing like the Holiday Inn of old back in the States. In China, it's actually nice. Two words: free laundry. Washers, dryers and detergents. I pack a week's worth of clothing even if I'm in town for several weeks. 3rd floor, can't miss it. Breakfast is decent. The rooms are clean and smoke free is actually smoke free. Bottled water and other amenities and necessities are readily available. Wifi speed is decent. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a small minimalist exercise room with dumbbells and a couple other pieces of equipment. The location....I love the location. Chenyang district is an hour North of the better known Shinan district (the seaside that you see in all the tourist Instagram crap). Line 1 metro, Didi or taxi. Within a 5 minute walk of the hotel you'll find more than a hundred restaurants, bars, coffee shops, a cinema and more. That's no joke. You could spend a couple weeks just trying them all. They're in the process of building a new metro station across the street. Right now the closest station is maybe a 10-15 min walk. And this area has more of a small city feel to it with a lot less of the tourist nonsense down by the coast. It isn't the least or most expensive hotel in the area, but it's one of the best values in my opinion.

The hotel room is spacious and clean. It has a great location about 5 min walk to the train station and the beach. The service was super good, satisfying all the needs of customers. Besides a free good breakfast, they provided afternoon tea for both days even though we stayed only for one night. There is also a free upgrading of room for our next booking. Very friendly and warm staffs.

I always stay at the Holiday inn when traveling to Qingdao. The staff are incredible and speak English. The facilities are nice and clean and check in is a breeze. The location is perfect for access to any facility or bar downtown

Location is great. Hotel itself is sketchy. To begin with, there is no hotel lobby. It’s two floor building, and first floor is shared with two boba shops and a front desk of another hotel. The restroom smelled like a typical Chinese stinky public restroom. If you are detail oriented and a clean freak like me, you will def find the hotel cleanness level to be not acceptable. I particularly like Atour. When I saw the new store opening, I couldn’t wait to check in and experience it. The lobby was very spacious and warm when I first entered. I like the decoration style. There are books and free coffee in the rest area. The service is as considerate as ever, including black tea from Atour Village. Upgraded to several room types for free. The room is very spacious. It has free tea bags, ear-mounted coffee, cola, and my favorite black tea and green tea biscuits, bathrobes, and scales. The room is fully intelligent guest control and Xiaodu , I love it so much. The buffet breakfast that combines Chinese and Western styles is dazzling. The laundry room is open 24 hours a day and can be dried. It is very user-friendly. The gym equipment is also relatively new. The facilities and equipment are very good. The room is also very clean and tidy. The location is also very good. The transportation nearby is also very convenient. It is very close to the subway entrance. The guy at the front desk after checking out gave me warm mineral water, which was a great experience.

The distance to the nearest attractions might be not walkable but easy to reach by taxi. Not far from railway station and next to a bus station. Highly recommend!

The room is clean, tidy, not big but enough for couples. The breakfast was good too. The staff are also friendly and very helpful, not much can speak English. One of the staff named Frank spoke good English. He was very nice to us and he helped us with ordering a taxi outside. It was a pleasant stay at Qingdao Holiday Inn Express for us.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the amazing hotel with a fantastic location and incredibly friendly staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the front desk staff who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The hotel's location was absolutely perfect - right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of all the major attractions and surrounded by fantastic restaurants and shops. I loved being able to step out of the hotel and immediately immerse myself in the vibrant energy of the city. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities I could possibly need. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the little touches that made me feel right at home. But what truly set this hotel apart was the staff. Every single person I encountered, from the front desk to the restaurant to the housekeeping staff, was incredibly kind, attentive, and eager to assist with anything I needed. The room was amazing! It was spacious with everything I wanted: mini fridge, microwave, ice bucket. My floor (33) had a private elevator and a laundry room. The hotel breakfast was good with a great view of the square & ocean and pretty good coffee.
