I spent 4 days and 3 nights at Royale Signature Hotel, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most pleasantly surprising stays in Alor Setar! From check-in to check-out, everything felt smooth and welcoming — the staff genuinely made me feel like a guest, not just a booking number. The room was spacious, bright, and thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials: comfy bed, soft pillows, mini-fridge, and a spot-perfect workspace. The sleep quality was impressive… though, full disclosure, the soundproofing could use an upgrade — I could occasionally hear faint hallway sounds. Nothing deal-breaking, but something to note if you’re a deep sleeper. Location-wise, it’s a winner. Walking distance to Aman Central, local cafés, and Alor Setar Tower made exploring effortless. High floors also offer a lovely city view — perfect for morning coffee or sunset photos. Little touches made my stay memorable: complimentary Wi-Fi that never faltered, modern toiletries, and those small staff gestures that made a difference — smiles, helpful directions, and quick responses whenever I needed something. Overall, Royale Signature Hotel is a great value for a 4-star stay in the heart of the city. Comfortable, convenient, and welcoming — I left feeling rested, happy, and already planning my next visit. If you’re coming to Alor Setar, this hotel will not disappoint. 💡 Tip: Request a higher floor for the best city views and bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper — minor things, but your stay will be perfect!

I had a pleasant stay at Purest Hotel overall. The location is very convenient, making it easy to access nearby amenities and get around the area. I also appreciate the team’s prompt response whenever I made a request — the service was efficient and attentive. That said, one area for improvement would be the pigeon situation at the car park, which could be better managed to enhance cleanliness and overall guest experience. With some attention to this, the stay experience would be even better.

My wife and I recently stayed here and overall, we had an enjoyable experience. The room was reasonably priced and offered good value for money. We especially liked the cozy atmosphere, and the convenience of having parking right in front of the room made our stay even more comfortable. However, there are a few areas for improvement. The air conditioning was directed straight towards the bed, which made it quite cold during the night. Basic amenities like a toothbrush were not provided, so it’s better to bring your own. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower was a bit slow. Despite these minor issues, we still had a pleasant stay and would consider coming back again.

There was a slight issue during check-in regarding my booking. I had booked a room with breakfast for 2 adults and 1 child, but the front counter mentioned that their system only showed breakfast for 2 adults. After I showed them the details from my Trip.com booking, they still needed some time to recheck before finally confirming it. It was a bit troublesome, but thankfully the matter was resolved. On the positive side, the room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. TV channel options were rather limited, though. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hotel’s flexibility in allowing us a late check-out after afternoon prayer without any hassle or unnecessary questions, which we truly appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would gladly come again in the future.

Pros: 1. **Location:** Conveniently situated between Langkawi Airport and Cenang Beach, just over a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport. 2. **View:** Offers sea views (though not directly beachfront). 3. **Architecture:** The hotel's exterior resembles a cruise ship, and the lobby has an Islamic-inspired design. 4. **Staff:** The front desk staff are friendly and enthusiastic. 5. **Elevators:** Four elevators make getting around very convenient. 6. **Corridors:** The hallways feature a traditional Southeast Asian architectural style. 7. **Rooms:** Spacious rooms with partial sea views. 8. **Breakfast:** Wide variety of choices including Western, Chinese, and Malay options. 9. **Pools:** Located on the second floor, there's an outdoor swimming pool, an infant pool, a regular pool, and a dedicated pool for Muslim women. You can also order food to be delivered poolside. The changing rooms are very large. 10. **Shuttle Service:** Free scheduled shuttle bus service to the night market and Eagle Square. 11. **Luggage Storage:** Luggage storage is available. 12. **Nearby Dining:** There's a restaurant with a pool next door, which has a nice ambiance. Across the road, there's a Thai restaurant run by Chinese owners, offering good value for money. Areas for Improvement: 1. **Condition:** The corridors and rooms are a bit dated. 2. **Air Conditioning:** Some rooms have central AC, others have wall-mounted units. In some cases, the wall-mounted units didn't blow air, and we had to clean the filters ourselves, which were very dirty. 3. **Bathroom:** The bathroom lacks a modern feel. 4. **Breakfast Quality:** The breakfast quality isn't very high and also feels dated.

The weather is refreshing, though it can still feel hot under the afternoon sun. There’s usually a light breeze, and the night time is fantastic with cool wind. The view is great and the whole place feels relaxing, with well-maintained greenery. Activities are decent—there’s a playground for kids (RM20 for kids, RM10 for adults), a dinosaur park, and a glass floor viewing deck (RM5 per person). There are also other activities like archery and paintball, although we didn’t try them. The room is a bit outdated and in need for a renovation. There was some smell in the toilet, but overall still acceptable if you’re not too picky. Sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view is definitely a highlight. Breakfast was quite limited and average in taste—not really comparable to other 4-star hotels, but still okay. In short, not a luxury 5-star resort, but more like a hidden gem for a short weekend escape—especially nice for families to come up, enjoy the weather and the view, definitely worth a try if you never been to Jerai Hill before!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful view, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Parking was very convenient and easily accessible for customers, which is a big plus. The receptionist was exceptionally helpful and professional, always ready to assist with any questions. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

This is a new hotel, and they are not fully open yet. During my stay there is only one floor that is ready and open for staying (level 2). However, the overall hotel is still under construction, renovation and installation. We booked two rooms; but one of them room is not having a good function of aircond. The shower do have hot/cold option, but the hot water is not functioning yet. The overall rooms and conditions are still dusty, as the hotel just opened for a few days - which is only opened for only one floor. If you're staying during the daytime, you will hear people drilling as early as at 8am. The good thing, they have laundry room with washer and dryer, - and full equipped one ironboard and one steam iron. As there is no iron amenities in the room. There is a lot of things need to be improved, to be cleaned - before they can open it to public. Perhaps, it will be better once everything is completed and cleaned (if any).

My stay at Resorts World Langkawi was truly a memorable and refreshing experience that exceeded my expectations in many ways. Located on the beautiful island of Langkawi, the resort offered a perfect combination of natural beauty, comfort, and excellent hospitality. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed warmly by the staff, whose friendly and professional attitude made me feel relaxed and valued. The check-in process was smooth, and I was quickly escorted to my room, which had a stunning view of the sea. Waking up each morning to the sight of calm blue waters and lush green surroundings was incredibly peaceful and helped me disconnect from the stress of daily life. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very cozy, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights of my stay was the infinity pool, which overlooked the ocean and created a breathtaking atmosphere, especially during sunset. I spent hours there just relaxing and enjoying the scenic beauty. The resort also had a variety of dining options, and the food was delicious, offering both local Malaysian flavors and international cuisine. Every meal felt special, with fresh ingredients and great presentation. Another thing I appreciated was the peaceful environment of the resort. It was not overly crowded, which allowed me to enjoy quiet moments and truly unwind. The location was also convenient for visiting nearby attractions, making it easy to explore the island while still having a calm place to return to. Overall, my stay at Resorts World Langkawi was an unforgettable experience filled with comfort, relaxation, and beautiful memories. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a serene and enjoyable getaway.

Really great stay at Holiday Villas, has more than everything you need for a great holiday. The rooms are dated but they are clean and have all the facilities you need. The balconies feel a bit risky for young children so maybe requesting a ground floor room is better. The setting is perfect. The beach is so nice and there are more than enough sun loungers, toilets nearer the beach would be helpful as it is quite a walk for people from the beach. Overall great stay.

SSuzie RFrom the moment we arrived, this hotel exceeded all expectations. The views across the sea were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise — waking up each morning to those stunning colours over the water was a real highlight of the stay. The hotel facilities were excellent, with large swimming pools for both adults and children, plenty of comfortable sunbeds available throughout the day, and two fantastic bars. The swim-up bar was perfect for relaxing in the pool with a drink, while the beach bar created a wonderful laid-back atmosphere right by the sea. Evening entertainment was varied and enjoyable, adding to the overall holiday experience without ever feeling overwhelming. The food was another standout feature. There was an impressive variety every day, and the quality and taste genuinely surpassed expectations. Every meal felt fresh, well-prepared, and catered for all tastes. What truly made the stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Every member of the team was warm, friendly, and attentive, always willing to help with a smile. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and their hospitality made the hotel feel welcoming and relaxed throughout our stay. One of the most memorable experiences was the quick speedboat taxi to the private island — a unique touch that made the holiday feel even more special. The hotel also offered plenty of complimentary activities including tennis courts, pickleball, snooker, and more, which added great value and meant there was always something to do. Although the rooms were slightly dated, they suited the hotel perfectly and added to the authentic Langkawi charm — relaxed, comfortable, and full of character. Rather than feeling tired, the hotel had a genuine laid-back vibe that made it easy to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, this is an excellent hotel and a real hidden gem. With incredible views, fantastic facilities, wonderful food, and exceptional staff, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Langkawi.

FFarhanaFuad⭐ 5/5 I really enjoyed my stay at this resort! The pool is huge and very clean — I swam for almost 3 hours each day during my 2-night stay 🤭. My pool access room was super comfortable, clean, and beautifully designed. I also loved that there’s a bathtub! A few small suggestions for improvement: 1. It would be great to have street lights at the junction leading to the resort. 2. Adding a clear sign at the entrance would help, especially at night or during rainy weather. 3. Breakfast was okay overall. The English-style options were good, but the local dishes like fried kuey teow, fried vermicelli, and nasi lemak could use a bit more flavour. Overall, I had a pleasant and relaxing stay — definitely a resort I’d love to come back to! 🌴💦

FFifi MatsThe hotel is located a short drive from the airport; but also tucked away from the noise of the city. Taxi fare to tourist hotspots is generally low (MYR11-23) due to its convenient location. Perfect for travellers who want a scenic and tranquil break from their busy lives, but also want easy access to shops and nightlife (food stalls, etc.). Super neat rooms and excellent staff all around. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect score is because the fitness room needs some work, and it takes about half an hour for the a/c in there to cool the space down. Not great if you want a quick workout before heading out for the day. Overall, highly recommend! I would come back here again without a second thought. Worth every penny!

AAnonymous UserThe amenities were great,( i didnt try, but they look nice), nice infinity pool, located at the beach side. Breakfast area was nice, great deaogn, food variation was okay. I get to enjoy a nice sunset at the beach. The downside is the cleanliness of the room. The room smells of cigarette, so I asked for room freshener. They came and sprayed, but the smell still linger. I didnt say anything since I was quite tired. The floor was not vacuum, I can feel the sand on the floor when I stepped into the room, there are a lot at the room entrance. I had to wear slipper everytime. The space near the toilet was a bit cleaner, but still can feel the sand. It is not comfortable to pray. The WC was dirty, got yellowish stain at the bowl. The check in experience was not really smooth for me. I arrived at 1pm, asking if I can check in early, and they said the room was not ready, so I understand. I waited for 40 minutes, but it was still not ready. Then I went out for work, came back at 6.30 pm, but the check in was still not ready, and I need to wait for a while to get my room card even though they said that a room was assigned, I thought they have checked in for me, but no, they asked for my ID again. I left my luggage earlier, and they just left it in the open. The window locked was broken, even when I try to close, it opened by itself, no wonder I can hear the loud music and animal sound (like a bird or something, its loud and i can here it throughout my stay) I only realized that the window opened itself in the morning because the lock was broken, no wonder the aircond was not cold. I didnt realize because i didnt open the curtain till the next morning. Overall experience was not so good with the room, I was tired and upset with the room cleanliness. Apart from the ambience and the pool area, I dont think the hotel is up to 4-star standard in terms of cleanliness and hospitality.

GGuest UserThis hotel is located right on Central Beach in Langkawi, and our overall stay was quite good. We were so satisfied after the first night that we decided to extend our stay by an extra day. Our initial room was right by a small pool, offering direct access, and it was also close to the beach, with a very pleasant environment and view. When we extended our stay, the hotel moved us to a different room. This new room was a bit further from the beach, and we noticed more mosquitoes. We asked the front desk if they had mosquito coils, but were told we'd have to buy them ourselves, which was a minor inconvenience, though thankfully, we weren't bitten that night. We suspect the room change might be because the poolside room, with its better view, is preferred for new arrivals to enhance their initial experience. The hotel's surroundings are very convenient. Turning right out of the hotel, there's a small shop about 200 meters away where you can buy flip-flops or rent a scooter at a reasonable price, which greatly boosted our convenience and overall happiness during our stay. Just a short walk north along the beach, there's a place that's both a Western restaurant and a bar. In the evenings, they have a fireworks show right outside, creating a fantastic atmosphere. Prices are also very reasonable there; a beer costs around 12 MYR and ice cream is 8 MYR, with most guests being European and American tourists. Enjoying a drink and watching the show with the sound of the waves at night was incredibly relaxing. Finally, let's talk about breakfast. For a hotel in this price range, the breakfast quality is highly commendable. Compared to hotels of a similar price (around 500 RMB) during peak season in Qinhuangdao, China, this hotel offers significantly better value for money. Plus, during the off-season, neither the beach nor the pool gets crowded, allowing for very relaxed swimming and holiday enjoyment. The overall vacation vibe was wonderfully comfortable.

GGuest UserRoom was ideal. Spacious. Good quality amenities. View of sea is there though a little obstructed. Fridge had a few drinks and a snack that was provided free of charge. Replenishment of these is chargeable. Breakfast was great. Cuisines for all tastes. My ONLY issue if you run out of there coffee and tea and want that replenished it is chargeable to the room. Minute walk to Pentai Chenai strip which is full of food shops laundrette ect. Concierge very helpful. Muslim/non muslim friendly. Serves alcohol for those what wish to drink. There is a excursion booking table which was great. A lady names Lisa served us and was very helpful. Rates were good but still feel free to shop around. Highly recommend 4 hour island hopping jet ski trip. Our guide was Ayman at Cabana Sports. Woul 100% stay again.

2205263****This hotel is right next to Langkawi Airport, just a 3-minute walk away. The airport is a bit old, but every room in the hotel is spacious, and the lobby is quite impressive. For a 4-star standard, the gym equipment is a bit limited. However, in a tropical country, perhaps this is all one can expect. The hotel's service, though, is excellent. Due to a last-minute change in my travel plans, I contacted them via email, and the front desk kindly agreed to adjust my check-in time, which I really appreciated. Thumbs up to the hotel front desk service! Each room has double-glazed windows with a gap of about 20cm between the panes, so you can't hear the planes taking off or landing next door. It's very quiet for sleeping. A quick tip: if you're heading to Telaga Harbour, the hotel is conveniently located between Pantai Cenang and the harbour. Taxis are also readily available.

BBrian.WZHI booked a 2-night stay with my Mrs in one of the villas connected to the shared pool, and our experience started off on a great note. We were picked up from the airport in a very comfortable Toyota Alphard arranged by the resort. Our driver and resort staff, Khai, was incredibly friendly—he patiently answered all my questions and gave us fantastic food recommendations since it was my first time in LGK. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Daniel at the lobby. He served us beautifully presented lemon peach teas as a welcome drink and brought us through the entire check-in process. While waiting for our villa to be ready, we had lunch at the resort’s only restaurant. Unfortunately, this was the only part of the stay that fell short—the pizza crust was undercooked, a bit greasy, and tasted store-bought, which was quite disappointing. Thankfully, things picked up again after that. Khai later escorted us to our villa, and we were relieved that our balcony didn’t directly face the restaurant. However, I do feel the pool and villa balconies could be designed to offer more privacy so diners aren’t looking out over the area. Overall, the stay was truly pleasant. I loved that the resort is away from the busy beach, giving us a peaceful and quiet environment. All the staff were warm and friendly. A few standout perks include: 1. Complimentary rides to and from the property (subject to booking and availability) 2. Free minibar, replenished daily—including coffee capsules 3. Complimentary Netflix and YouTube accounts on the TV (which both my wife and I really love) 4. A pretty decent in-room breakfast experience. (they definitely do breakfast better than lunch, in my opinion) I also indulged in a 90-minute massage, which started with herbal tea, grapes, and a carrot stick during a herbal foot bath, followed by a foot massage and a one-hour full-body aromatherapy massage. My masseuse, Yaya, was incredibly patient and attentive, constantly checking on the pressure and even gifting me a small goodie bag at the end. All in all, I wouldn’t mind returning—and I’m even considering trying one of their larger 3-room villas next time. I highly recommend this resort for big families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
