Stayed at Swiss-Belhotel Kuantan and it was such a relaxing experience. The environment is peaceful and perfect for a short escape from the city. The hotel is located right by the beach, so you get a beautiful natural vibe throughout your stay.
The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable — plenty of space to unwind and enjoy. Hotel facilities are great, including a swimming pool, gym, kids-friendly areas, and dining options, all well-maintained and convenient for both couples and families.
The highlight is definitely the view 🌅 You can catch both stunning sunrise and sunset by the beach, which makes it extra special. Waking up to the sea view and ending the day with golden sunset moments is just perfect.
We had a very enjoyable stay at the AC Marriott Hotel. The pillows and bed were incredibly comfortable, allowing me to sleep soundly throughout the night. The breakfast spread was quite simple, but it was sufficient and satisfying. The staff were highly professional and showed excellent hospitality. I will definitely be coming back again.
It's a wonderful place to stay with family. Our family stayed in this premium 3 bedroom during this trip. Living room is spacious and there is water dispenser provided in the apartment too. Bedroom size is good as well. Our room comes with Jacuzzi at the balcony too, but we didn't have time to try it out.
Location wise is about 15 mins walk up to the Sky Avenue. It's easier to walk down than to walk up due to the up slope, especially if you are travelling with old folks.. hence, we took a grab up everytime. It's about 5 mins drive from the apartment lobby. Also during our stay, it's their peak season, hence there is no shuttle service, but non peak season, they will have shuttle service up to Firat World Hotel.
Their breakfast is not something to shoutout and it's kinda same everyday. They start breakfast at only 8am, if you are there late, there might not be seats available as the area for breakfast is quite small and food might also run out too.
Since it's an Air BnB apartment, they don't do housekeeping for you, however, something nice is they can change your towels and clear the rubbish upon request. Hence, remember to call the reception to request for this.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay there. My children enjoyed their trampoline room. Wanted to try out their bowling but it's under maintenance. There are also a few convenience shops at the ground floor, we can still grab something if we are hungry or thirsty at night. Take note only 1 is 24hr, the rest of the shops closes at 10pm.
Hopefully the apartment management can improve on their breakfast spread and area for dinning. Also hope to see more shops or restaurants opening in this area next time.
Will be back again.
The staff was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and attentive to our request, truly elevating the hospitality experience. We were thrilled to be upgraded to a newly refurbished 2-bedroom suite, having the extra space made our stay so much more comfortable. Huge thanks to the front desk for the unexpected surprise—their hospitality is truly top-tier.
Just one small improvement - the spotlights at the street make the rooms too bright for sleep. I would suggest the hotel management to consider to install thicker black out curtains.
The environment here is great, with a pool and a gym. The hotel also provides toothbrushes and toothpaste, and the rooms are very clean. I highly recommend staying here! The price is good, and it's located halfway up Genting. You can take the cable car directly to Genting Highlands. The only downside is that the road to the hotel is a bit secluded.
Overall, the stay was comfortable with a nice environment and pleasant view. The unit is modern, clean, and well-designed, making it a relaxing place to stay. The living area and bedroom were cozy, and everything felt quite new.
The unit comes with 2 bathrooms (with shower) and 1 additional toilet, which is very convenient for groups.
Basic amenities like shampoo and bathroom sets were provided.
One downside was the jacuzzi, which takes quite a long time to heat up. We had to wait until the next morning for the water to become properly hot, so it’s not suitable if you plan to use it immediately.
There are a few F&B outlets downstairs, making it easy to get food nearby.
The parking fee was confusing — we were charged RM20 even though the signboard showed RM10. We parked around 2:30 PM and checked out at 10 AM the next day, so clearer pricing would help.
Another issue was transport. It was not convenient — we tried booking Grab for about 10 minutes, but no drivers accepted our ride from Antara to First World.
Overall: Comfortable stay with good environment and facilities, but improvements needed for jacuzzi heating, parking clarity, and transport accessibility.
Our stay at Swiss Garden Residence Kuantan was truly a delightful experience.
From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was seamless and professionally handled, setting a positive tone for the entire stay. The residence itself exceeded expectations—the unit was impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and carried a warm, home-like ambiance that made settling in effortless.
One of the standout features was the in-unit washing machine, complemented by an ample number of hangers—an understated yet highly practical touch that made longer stays especially convenient.
Despite visiting during the holiday peak, the overall environment remained comfortable and well-managed, without feeling overly crowded. Parking was straightforward, with a designated lot and clear guidance provided, ensuring a hassle-free experience throughout.
For families, the mini waterpark is a wonderful addition, offering both fun and convenience. The proximity to the beach further enhances the appeal, allowing for relaxing seaside moments just a short walk away. Additionally, having a convenience store right outside the residence adds to the overall ease and comfort of the stay.
In every sense, this stay offers exceptional value. It strikes a perfect balance between comfort, functionality, and relaxation—truly embodying the essence of a “home away from home.”
A happy mom makes a happy family 😊
We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The unit was very clean, spacious, and comfortable ,perfect for a short getaway or even a family stay. The interior was modern and well-maintained, and all basic facilities were complete and functioning well.
I rarely write reviews, but this hotel absolutely deserves all the credit! I was a bit hesitant to book at first after reading some of the comments, but wow, staying here turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The hotel was spotless, and the hospitality was truly exceptional. Whenever we called, even for the tiniest thing, the staff showed up right away with a smile.
I was also looking for a place to rent, and although I didn’t catch her name, the receptionist went above and beyond to help me find one. Her kindness meant so much. And the view from my room? Absolutely breathtaking!
Overall, I loved every moment of my stay and would 100% recommend this hotel to everyone. It’s truly a must-stay, don’t even think twice, just book it! 🌟
Stayed at Resorts World Awana Genting Highlands and overall it was a good stay 👍
Pros:
Peaceful and surrounded by nature
Clean and comfortable room
Easy access to Genting via cable car
Cons:
A bit far from the main Genting area
Limited food options at night but of course you can drive out to nearby look for food.
If you prefer a quieter place instead of the crowded hilltop, this is actually a better option.

SSumijellyGeo 38 Residence Genting is surrounded with lush greenery and conveniently, a perfect gateway from city and yet close to Genting Highlands. You can enjoy the cool fresh air, either wake up with stunning mountain view.
5 mins Walking distance to Restaurant / Starbucks Coffee Shop /99 Convenient store. 10 mins driving distance to Genting Premier Outlet 18 mins driving distance to Genting Highlands It's suitable for family gathering, business travelers and holiday seekers.
MManmanlyThe hotel felt like a quiet, secluded haven. We booked a beach villa, and they even accommodated our request for a room with a great view. There were many sharks by the jetty, and we could snorkel right outside our room to see plenty of fish and small sharks. The hotel food was good, though a bit pricey. The room design was truly impressive, with front and back doors offering different views, and we even saw many playful monkeys. The cleanliness was absolutely spotless! It also came with a separate vanity table, which turned out to be perfect for our child's homework.
The only letdown was the spa. For a hotel that markets itself as a spa destination, the spa rooms were chilly and damp. The therapist was simply awful; she even stopped massaging me when I fell asleep??? I definitely do not recommend getting a spa treatment at this hotel.
AAriel NajmiReview: Copthorne Cameron Highlands
Stayed here after booking through Trip.com and managed to get a really good price, definitely worth it for the value.
The highlight of my stay was the beautiful view from the balcony. The scenery was very calming, especially with the cool Cameron Highlands weather – memang best untuk relax. The room was comfortable and spacious, plus having a bathtub made the stay even more enjoyable.
Check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. Staff were friendly and easy to deal with, which made everything more convenient.
Parking was also easy to find, which is a big plus. The location is very strategic as it is close to Kea Farm and other attractions, so senang nak jalan-jalan without needing to travel far.
Overall, the hotel offers a peaceful environment with nice views, good facilities, and a convenient location. Definitely a good choice for a short getaway in Cameron Highlands.

WWanee ZulkifliMe and my husband booked this hotel for our staycation before Ramadan start. The price offer affordable with our budget since we went there during school holiday and CNY. We choose superior room which located in front of the pool. The resort are huge/big, a bit classic since the room interior quite oldies. I guess it's true this resort was build on 1987~ somewhere. The resorts well maintain, the staff are welcoming, polite, good PR with guests inquiries. The resort have great access to the beach that you may walk from the room/pool/restaurants. They have 2 pools, the one are surround by the villas/superior room and they have pool theme park (small theme park), require to wear the bands (will provide during check-in), the kids definitely enjoyed playing at the pool so do adults too. The other side of theme park pool, the have pool facing the beach and besids the restaurant, and of course their lifeguard always monitor the guests in pool area. There so many type of rooms you may choose in future. Furthermore, their breakfast menus are satisfied to enjoy, staff that always ready to clean up once guest finished their meal. Overall it's very comfy, nice and beautiful resort to choose for staycation/holiday. Definitely will come again in future.

HHAFIZAH BAHRINThe hotel was dirty. When I checked in around 3 p.m., there was hair in the room and the bathroom had an unpleasant smell. The staff were quite unfriendly and did not explain things properly. Lastly, the hotel felt creepy and uncomfortable. 🥲

PProfessional travellerSecond times staying with this hotel.
This time we book garden room.
So outside the balcony got a private garden for kids to play.
OoohlysaThe room was good and quite big, and the bed was comfortable. Check-in and check-out were both fast. There’s also a shuttle bus for pick-up and drop-off, so no need to worry about transportation. It’s a nice place to relax away from the city and noise, which I really liked.
GGuest UserNot worth the money paid.
The suite concept does not justify the price.
The buffet had very limited options. While we mostly eat salads and fruits (so it didn’t affect us much), there were basic issues—hot milk was cold, and when it ran out, our request for a refill was ignored after staff discussed among themselves and walked away without any response.
The water temperature had only two settings: hot or very hot. It was so extreme that it nearly scalded our skin—no proper temperature control.
The location is good, and the weather (around 16–18°C) was pleasant. That was honestly the only advantage. Since we spent most of our time outside the hotel, we managed—but that shouldn’t be the reason a stay feels acceptable.
The hair dryer was a complete safety nightmare. The hood was broken, posing a serious risk of electrocution. Absolutely zero regard for guest safety.
Overall, disappointing experience and poor value for money.
