4-Star Hotels in Madeira, Portugal

We stayed here as we arrived at the airport late. Clean, affordable and comfortable. Highly recommend

The hotel is old, but very nice. The windows offer a stunning view of the bay. The cleanliness of the room is at a high level. The hotel territory with well-maintained pedestrian paths on the coast. Polite staff. Convenient location of the hotel relative to the airport, you can even walk quietly in 30-40 minutes. Cons: Disappointed by the breakfast, meager and tasteless. And they could at least put water in the room. Little things, but after a flight this is important, especially if you arrive late at night.

Wonderful experience and the best hotel during our stay in Madeira. Perfect price and value proposition with a staff who are really customers oriented and friendly. Smaller hotel what is never overcrowded. Nice charming design elements. Very good breakfast with selection of local cheeses and meat. Real juice would be the only needed improvement and some pastel de Nata for the breakfast would add to the mandatory Portuguese experience. Otherwise 100% perfect stay. Excellent swimming pool with sea water. Yes. The rooms are somewhat dated but super clean and comfortable. I didn't came here to see golden chandeliers so l was super satistied! Excellent location and direct sea access. What more could one look for??

One of the best hotels I've ever been to. Perfectly clean, beautiful, super cozy! Delicious, and the freshest breakfast you can imagine. Convinient, quiet location. Absolutely ideal!

The hotel is very close to the 4 stars it has, perhaps 20 years ago, but today it has the old facilities, the room was clean but very spent. Even the ground floor, even the bathrooms spent.

The Porto Santo Hotel & Spa is an excellent choice for those who seek rest and quiet. Although it is a modest hotel, it is extremely comfortable and comfortable. I emphasise especially the sympathy and availability of the staff, which makes the experience even more pleasant. And the beach bar? Just spectacular perfect to enjoy sunset with a drink in the hand. I recommend!

Everything was fine, but there was a bad smell in the room and some aggressive homeless in the area around the hotel - it pulled down the overall impression and made us unfortunately not come back. Very fine and maintained hotel. Unfortunately no view - just out in a small smoke where there was noise at night and on the other hand a ruin.

As you may ask me how my stay went, as you know we didn't go to Madeira, I made a mistake with the dates, I wanted March and not February and your answer was NO. I won't book anything with Trip.com anymore. Nothing against Hotel Baleira. Many thanks to Patricia who did what she could. Thanks

The location on the ocean is breathtaking and that is my main take away. Everything else was perfectly fine. My only disappointment was the on site pools were closed during our stay. Was told they were being cleaned but I never saw any such activity.

The suites are located on southern beach ***** of the island, accessible by 2 buses or a taxi from the ferry port. Staff was very friendly, although not always aware of things when we asked some questions, but they did endeavour to find out. The bathroom does not have an exhaust fan, and needs some work and the rooms could do with some fresh paint. But overall very nice and comfortable, clean large outdoor pool, plenty of send beds, and umbrellas and beds directly on the beach with lifeguard on duty. The breakfast was tasty too with plenty of options. Would stay again
