The entire check-in experience was excellent. The front desk staff were warm and patient. It happened to be Christmas Eve, and they promptly offered blessings and apples when I checked in, which was a lovely surprise. The airport shuttle driver was also very friendly and punctual. The hotel is only about a 10-minute drive from the airport, so I didn't miss breakfast even with an early flight, though I did glimpse the spread and it looked quite abundant. The room was very clean and tidy. If I pass through Fuzhou again, I'll definitely stay here. Of course, their group has many hotel options, and I would prioritize choosing them in other cities too.

I stayed in Quanzhou for two nights, coinciding with New Year's Eve, so the ancient city was bustling. The hotel's occupancy rate was almost 100%. I booked this hotel about half a month in advance and specifically requested a non-smoking room or a non-smoking treatment. I took the K1 bus from Quanzhou Railway Station, and it took about 40 minutes to reach the hotel. The front desk staff were very welcoming and quickly processed my check-in. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, with no strange smells. The sofa had a vintage feel, and I was quite comfortable. Breakfast is on the second floor; you need to go down to the first floor and then take the stairs up to the restaurant. The restaurant is quite large, with an open kitchen, and the food selection is quite rich, including rice noodle paste, millet porridge, soy milk, milk, bread, and corn, with a good variety of side dishes. The breakfast menu even varied over the two days. It's also quite convenient for getting in and out of the ancient city! There are many good restaurants nearby as well. Definitely worth recommending.

Several major issues:
1. The complimentary water provided in the room was two bottles of Ice Dew. Having stayed at countless hotels over the years, this was certainly a first. How much more expensive could Nongfu Spring be?
2. Breakfast was incredibly crowded. The front desk was aware of this and even kindly advised guests to avoid dining between 7:30-9:30 AM. Who doesn't eat breakfast during that time? It seems the hotel knows about the problem but instead of expanding their dining area, they tell guests to avoid peak times. The breakfast area is right across from the front desk, and during peak hours, there was a long queue outside the restaurant – another first for me. The dining environment was also very cramped.
3. I booked this hotel specifically because I wanted to be able to open the windows for some fresh air. However, the small window above the main one just pushed open and couldn't be closed tightly. It was very cold during Fuzhou's New Year's Day cold snap. I asked about the central air conditioning, and they said it could provide heat, but all I got was a rush of cold air. I shivered through the night. Given this, I might as well have booked a hotel like the Kempinski with sealed windows.
4. There was no service from the front desk. A proper front desk concierge should add guests on WeChat during check-in. After staying for a day and a night, they only called to ask to add WeChat the night before check-out, just to solicit a good review. I understand service is competitive, but I'm sorry, I really can't give a good review. If they focused on doing things right, I believe good reviews would come naturally.
Other points: the breakfast tasted good, the location is excellent, right next to Wuyi Square, and the late check-out until 3:00 PM was convenient. The connected mall is very convenient, and Yabao Paradise was fun. However, these positives don't outweigh the negatives; there were too many problems. I won't be staying here again.

This was our first trip to Fuzhou with family, and overall it was a great experience! The hotel stay was very comfortable. The 2.2-meter king-size bed had plenty of space for our family of three, making it comfortable for both adults and children. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway station, and taxis are easy to catch! Both the front desk and the housekeeping staff were fantastic! I needed a band-aid, and the front desk promptly sent someone to deliver it – very efficient! Our room was cleaned quickly every day, and they provided plenty of bottled water. They also generously prepared extra toiletries for the child. Plus, the kids could go swimming.

Hilton Fuzhou Sanfang Qixiang boasts an excellent location right by the Min River. After dinner, a stroll along the riverside is incredibly pleasant! The hotel staff are friendly and provide great service, responding quickly to any requests. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, the environment is lovely, and you get a beautiful view outside the dining room window! The rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and I had a fantastic rest!
The price is cheap, which is good. It's located near a computer market. Besides the TV, there's not much to see, but everything else is fine. The main selling point is its affordability. Downstairs, there's a BaWangChaJi and a Wallace (fast food). There are also some snack stalls nearby at night. It's about a kilometer from the subway station. The only thing I found quite annoying was seeing the charger.

Our family trip to Chaoshan included a stopover in Zhangzhou Old Town on the way back, and choosing to stay at the Xiyue Minnan Courtyard Hotel within the old town was an absolutely brilliant decision. We had an immersive experience of the red-brick Minnan courtyard style. The entire hotel was filled with thoughtful details and craftsmanship everywhere. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony sipping tea, practicing a couple of sets of Baduanjin on the Nanyang-style terrace in the morning, and taking a brisk walk around the old town after dinner in the evening. It was truly serene. Although there isn't a private free parking lot, parking was still extremely convenient with a shuttle service. The hotel's staff (the 'xiaogēgē' and 'xiǎojiějie' – brothers and sisters) even vied to help us with our luggage and shared recommendations for food and sightseeing routes. They made us feel right at home while also giving us ample private space and time. Right outside the hotel is a food street, and the鷺嫂灌蛋 (Lù Sǎo Guàn Dàn) across the street, as well as the 'runbing' (spring rolls), 'sanjiaoguo' (triangle粿), and 'lúmiàn' (braised noodles) nearby, were all delicious. If we ever get the chance to visit Zhangzhou again, we'll definitely book this hotel.
The location is fantastic, right by Yuandang Lake, making it incredibly convenient to get around. The front desk even upgraded me to a room on the 7th floor with a great view. Honestly, I wasn't originally planning on staying here because I was worried that, being an older hotel, the facilities might be outdated and uncomfortable. But my friends in Xiamen strongly recommended it. The room was clean and tidy, although the bathroom was a bit old-fashioned with a bathtub. However, it had a rain shower head with good water pressure. The toilet also showed its age, but for a hotel in this price range, it really exceeded my expectations. The biggest surprise was the Napoleon pastry at their cafe. It was crispy, nutty, not too sweet, and not greasy. I actually think it's better than the one at Lady M in Shanghai. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Xiamen.

Good: very closed by train station like 8 mins walk. Front counter lady was helpful. Price was a deal.
Bad: cleaning is not done well, we found empty cigarette box under the bed. Provided plastic slippers were extremely dirty which we don't dared to use. Bathroom is very small jam with toilet, open shower and washing machine in approx 16sf room. Therefore, the toilet and washing machine gets wet after every use of shower. Since there was only disposable towels provided (large paper towel), we can't even use it to wipe the toilet dry. Although it's closed by Xiamenbei train station, keep in mind, it's far from tourist place in case you want to visit. It takes almost an hour by subway.

A truly excellent experience! The five-star service was absolutely impeccable. Just a note: swim caps are required at the pool. It would be great if disposable ones could be provided. Upon check-out, they even gave my child an adorable 'Zhuangyuan' (top scholar) themed water cup – it truly lives up to its reputation as the 'Hometown of Zhuangyuan'!

GGuest UserThe experience of this homestay is great! The location of the Binfenli B&B is excellent, the surrounding scenery is beautiful, and the travel is convenient. The room design is unique, the layout is warm and elegant, the facilities are all available and the quality is excellent, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and it makes people sleep well all night. The hotel staff is warm and hospitable, the service is thoughtful and intimate, you can feel the warmth of home here, I highly recommend it to everyone, I will choose this homestay next time!
MM449110****The hotel facilities aren't the newest, and the room felt pretty average. However, the location is excellent! It's very close to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, making it super convenient for finding places to eat. It's also near various attractions. The staff provided good service too.

AAtychiphobiaHonestly, this Jinjiang Metropolo Hotel was the biggest surprise of my trip to Fuzhou! It's genuinely located in the heart of the 'Three Lanes and Seven Alleys' historic district, and you can enjoy the charm of the historic area right from your room window. The design cleverly incorporates local cultural elements like Fuzhou oil-paper umbrellas and ancient architectural tiles, giving it a unique aesthetic. What's even more impressive is that the hotel is seamlessly connected to the Dongbai Center mall, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. From its location and design to the service, everything was simply perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fuzhou!
11330400****We arrived a bit early for check-in, but the front desk staff was very accommodating and processed our request. They even helped us switch rooms when the initial one wasn't suitable, which we really appreciated. The room was spacious, and the bedding was incredibly soft. We had a fantastic view of Gulangyu Island right across the water. All five of us loved it and are already looking forward to our next stay! I forgot to take pictures of the room, only of the view across the water.
GGuest UserI really loved the hotel's design and ambiance. The room was comfortable, spacious, and spotless. It featured a projector, an automatic toilet, and smart room modes; with just a press of a button, the lighting and other settings would adjust automatically. They also offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the train station, which was incredibly convenient. There's a courier station just a 3-minute walk away. The breakfast spread offered a good variety too! Everything tasted delicious – flavorful, not too salty or greasy. I especially recommend the *jiuniang* (sweet fermented rice soup), Sihuanhua, fried eggs, and the freshly made noodles. The staff were all very warm and friendly, always greeting us. Knowing we had traveled a long distance, they even gave us a small gift bag containing some snacks and water to help us re-energize for our journey. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time! (They even upgraded us for free as our originally booked room type wasn't available due to a late check-out. *Please note: The attached photo is of the upgraded room, not our original booking.*)

Excellent
GGuest UserA very unique homestay, the space is used thoroughly and there are many clever ideas in it. The sanitation is very clean, and there are no mosquito bites even if you live on the second floor. The complimentary eye mask is very considerate, and the fruit and breakfast are very good. The small terrace can be used to enjoy the scenery and dry clothes. There are small scenes everywhere in the yard. The service is also good, especially the auntie who makes breakfast, who is warm and friendly. When you go in and out, you can always see her busy, cleaning the house and cleaning the fish pond, which makes you feel like home. The suite with a rooftop is recommended.
GGuest UserArrived at the hotel in the evening, the front desk warmly received us and upgraded the view room. I gave it a thumbs up manually👍The room was comfortable and spacious. There was no hot water on the second night. I called the front desk and the response was very quick. A technician came up to check it soon and said that it would be fine if I ran cold water for a while.
The only thing that can be improved is that the shower room can be equipped with a towel rack or hook for clothes and towels. Otherwise, it is a little inconvenient to open the door to get towels and clothes after taking a shower.

Very Good
GGuest UserThis is the our first visit to Fuzhou. I traveled with my husband and my mum. I booked 4 different hotels for a total of 9 nights in Fuzhou. Narada is the second hotel.
We stayed for two nights at the private hot spring wing. Was given free upgrade upon checking in. We were then driven to our rooms by the lovely front desk lady, Xiao Li (前台小李). She is very professional, super helpful as the moment we got out of the cab, she carried all our baggages. Throughout our trip, she is always there to answer all our questions and is very warm and personable.
The next morning, we then called the front desk for the buggy to pick us up to the main hotel side for breakfast. The spread is very good with both Chinese and Western cuisine. The chefs are very nice and approachable. I want to take this chance to thank the restaurant waitress, Chen Hong (陈虹). Every morning we were greeted by her superb service. She shared with us about the culture, food and places to go in Fuzhou. She really go out of the way to make us feel welcomed.
Checking out was a breeze too. We just called the front desk and leave our keys in the room and head off. We then made our way to next hotel nearer to the city centre. We were shocked by the condition as the surroundings and the exterior of the hotel looked so rundown and dirty. We then decide to go back to Narada. We were again served by Xiao Li (前台小李). The moment she saw us, she immediately came to us asking if there’s anything she can help us with. We told her about our horrific encounter at the other hotel and she helped us arrange for 2 rooms at the main hotel side. She even brought us up to see the rooms before committing the stay. We also met Chen Hong (陈虹) while waiting for the rooms, she was empathic and recommended other local places and events. We were so impressed by the rooms, the hospitality and the impeccable service by Xiao Li (前台小李) and Chen Hong (西餐厅陈虹) that we decided not to move in to the city centre and stayed here for 7 more nights before our flight back to Singapore.
Big thumbs up to Narada Resort & Spa, Shoukai, Fuzhou. The people there are truly amazing. Thank you very much!
