I've stayed at this hotel several times when visiting Changle. It's right in the town center, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast spread is fantastic. The front desk service is particularly excellent. It's also a short bike ride to the beach, so overall it's very convenient. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in town.

This was my first time visiting Fuzhou, and since I was traveling with family during the Chinese New Year, I booked three rooms for three nights. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Wuyi Square, so you can walk over to watch the flag-raising ceremony, or even just enjoy the view from your room if you don't feel like going out! It's about a kilometer's walk from the hotel to Sanfang Qixiang, where you can really delve into the residences of famous figures from Fuzhou's modern history. On the morning of the first day of Chinese New Year, the hotel even organized a grand worship ceremony and a lion dance performance, which was a great experience for guests. My only suggestion would be: could the laundry facilities be made free of charge? It's a small expense that shouldn't really be charged for. I imagine there are very few hotels left in China that still charge for washing machines and dryers.

Facilities: Good Cleanliness: Good Environment: Right inside the airport, a few minutes' walk. The greenery and environment should be very nice, but I woke up late after staying overnight and didn't see anything. Service: The gentleman at the front desk was excellent. He alleviated my anxiety about missing my flight when I missed the shuttle and helped my mother with her luggage into a taxi. When we checked in at night, he thoughtfully provided breakfast, which isn't easy to get early in the morning the next day. Both the hotel and Airport Baixiang Media are subordinate and equal-level enterprises of Xiamen Airport, making them trustworthy. Drawbacks: The phone operators and front desk staff could use more training. The hotel actually has designated parking spots with signs at Airport Gate 6, but the staff didn't mention it, perhaps because they haven't seen it themselves at the airport. This would give customers more confidence in finding a spot. It's also quite difficult to reach the driver by phone, probably because many people are calling. When boarding, it would be best if staff could maintain order, perhaps by issuing numbers. People were haphazardly loading luggage and getting on, and then some had to get off because it was full. Also, it would be better if the signs clearly indicated where to get off for each stop. There are 3 stops, and the stop names don't perfectly match the room/hotel names, which makes it confusing, so you have to ask the driver each time.

I stayed at the Lakeside Hotel by Fuzhou's West Lake, and the environment was truly serene and pleasant. The service was attentive and thoughtful, making me feel right at home. The breakfast was a particular highlight – an impressive array of choices, with both authentic Fujianese snacks and Western dishes done exceptionally well. The fish balls were tender and flavorful, the taro paste was smooth and comforting, and the freshly cooked guobianhu (a local specialty) was piping hot, starting the day off perfectly. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience that I'd highly recommend.

## Review **Ambiance:** I'd say it was just okay, a traditional five-star hotel setup, pretty standard. But I'm not sure if it's because of the humidity in the south, but there was an indescribable smell when I entered the room. **Cleanliness:** The room itself was decent. However, some of the cutlery in the restaurant was a bit dirty. You can see it in the picture if you zoom in – there were hard white spots on the knife. **Service:** The cleaning staff in the guest rooms were very friendly and responsive to requests. However, the front desk service on the 40th floor was just mediocre. I've stayed in many five-diamond hotels of major brands in various cities, and in other cities, the staff always made me feel right at home. But in Fuzhou, they were quite indifferent. The only contact was a perfunctory follow-up call after checking out. I think you could learn from practices in the Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions, as well as Guangdong. They often have dedicated butlers, and both the front desk and butlers actively contact guests, checking in and showing genuine care. Especially in Guangzhou, the service is so good it almost makes you feel embarrassed! **Food:** The breakfast offered mostly local specialties. I'm someone who isn't usually picky, but I found many dishes unappetizing, and the variety wasn't great. I suppose it's understandable if they're trying to cut costs. **Overall, I didn't have a good experience!**

The hotel building is a little outdated, but nevertheless, it's clean and tidy. The room was better than I expected and the water pressure is really good. Check-in was swift, not much interaction. The staff was also kind to help me print out something. Location is excellent, it's right in front of Lianhua Intersection Exit 2. Paragon Mall is just across the street, a nice place for dining and shopping. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Traveling with seniors, staying here was a good choice. The location is quite convenient, right in a food street with many dining options. It's about 700m walk to Guan Yue Temple. You can also reach the operating area of the 'Little White Cars' (electric rickshaws/taxis) within a few hundred meters. I suggest the hotel could remind guests at check-in about the most convenient 'Little White Car' pick-up point from the hotel. We spent quite a while looking for it. The room hygiene was acceptable. The window could be opened for fresh air, and the shower had hot water very quickly. The hotel robot delivery service for takeout was very convenient. Areas for improvement: The carpet near the elevator on the fifth floor was particularly dirty, and the air quality there was poor. It was like this for all three days of our stay, suggesting it hasn't been cleaned in a long time.

The InterContinental quality is consistently excellent. The room was spacious, and the 2-meter king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. I loved the Byredo toiletries – they smell amazing! The hotel offers fantastic views of the river, the Ferris wheel, and Jinjiang Bridge, which are stunning both day and night. Plus, there's a shopping mall downstairs, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. Since I was with my younger brother, the hotel provided a complimentary breakfast, which had a great variety of options. Overall, I had a wonderful experience, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Quanzhou.

EElizabeth Frances RoseThis place makes me wish there was an option for six stars. I study Asian art for a living, and I travelled to Jianyang to visit the home of Jian ware, classic tea bowls of the Song dynasty (960 to 1279 CE), distinguished by their black and brown glazes. Over the last few decades, firing Jian ware in the Song tradition has been revived in the area. I chose Nanping Colourful Village Homestay because it was in Jianyang, affordable, and accepted international guests. What I found was a luxury resort with all the warmth and personal attention of a homestay. I asked the front desk about an excavated Song kiln site in a nearby village, and the receptionist brought me the manager, who arranged for someone to take me the next day. My driver was Ms. Huang, an employee of the resort whose job involves buying and selling contemporary pieces. She knew everything about Jian ware! The kiln site isn’t run as a tourist site, so I was only able to view it because Ms. Huang arranged for it to be opened for me. I had told them I was vegetarian, so for lunch they took me to lunch at a vegetarian buffet. Then we visited the town’s Jian ware museum, where they have exhibits on the history of tea and Jian ware, historical pieces, and the work of contemporary Jianyang potters. To my delight, Mr. Gao, the potter-in-residence at the resort, uses a Song-style wood-fired dragon kiln, built right on the grounds! His pieces that range from beautiful but quite affordable to exquisite and appropriately expensive. They include both iridescent silvery oil spot and orange-to-black hare’s fur pieces. I am still thrilled that I was able to purchase wood-fired pieces on my limited budget. For dinner, the resort’s restaurant prepared vegetarian versions of Fujian cuisine for me. The food was all delicious, featuring classic Fujianese mountain ingredients like local bamboo and mushrooms. Then we visited Mr. Gao’s dragon kiln, and later his studio, where he experiments with different local clays and glaze recipes. The rich colours and iridescence of Jian ware are the result of the iron-rich local material fired at high temperature, and the results are as unpredictable as they are beautiful. The next day, they drove me to Mr. Chen’s family tea plantation in the mountains, where they grow famous northern Fujian teas. These fine teas were all wonderful, smooth and rich with a touch of smoke, and sometimes fruity in flavour. We strolled through mountainsides of tea bushes and visited groves of centuries-old tea trees. This is a perfect place for an immersive experience in China that is also very comfortable and convenient. I often find tourist experiences in China claustrophobic due to the press of people, but the resort was spacious and airy, and they took me to places where there was no one else but us and the occasional local going about their business. Everyone was very patient with my limited Chinese language skills. They were also happy to work with translator apps on our phones, so if you don’t speak any Chinese, you will be fine. This would be a great place to come as a family. There are gardens and rides for kids right next to the resort. You can learn how to whip Song-style tea and carve your name into the base of your own Jian ware cup. Not far away is a historical theme park with a collection of real architecture from the Ming (1368 to 1644 CE) and Qing (1636 to 1912 CE) dynasties. The employees wear period dress and there are performances and activities. Nearby there are hiking trails, historical sites, and lovely villages to visit. It’s also very close to Wuyi Mountain National Park, so it would be a perfect place to stay if the mountains are your destination. If you ask, they could arrange for you to visit famous sites or take you to breathtaking places that only locals know, whatever you want. They can also arrange transport to and from the train station or airport.

GGuest UserThis hotel truly exceeded our family's expectations. We initially thought it would be an old, run-down star-rated hotel, but upon checking in, we found both the rooms and service to be excellent. The service, in particular, was outstanding – from the front desk to the concierge and housekeeping. They even upgraded our room to one with a sea view! The location is superb, right next to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, and not far from the Eighth Market. Heping Wharf is also just a short walk away.

MM528482****As a business traveler who's constantly on the road, this hotel totally won me over! The service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive to every detail. In the mornings, the cleaning staff always greets me warmly, and in the evenings, the front desk even offers a warm drink upon my return. The soundproofing in the room is fantastic; I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise at all. The bedding is soft and comfortable against the skin – getting a good night's sleep after a tiring day of business travel is so crucial. The environment is simple yet elegant, and the public areas are neat and well-maintained. Most importantly, the price is really budget-friendly, making it incredible value for money. I've already recommended it to my colleagues!

GGuest UserI usually don't leave reviews, mainly because I'm lazy. But this time, I have to give five stars for a few reasons. First, the hotel's service is absolutely top-notch. I left some clothes behind, and they actually called me and even mailed them to me – truly touching! The location is fantastic, just over 100 meters from the subway entrance, and right next to a food street, which saved me so much time and hassle. Finally, the security is excellent. I stayed for two nights, and I forgot to lock my door the first night, but nothing happened, haha! The hotel itself is also very comfortable. It was a really pleasant trip!!

GGuest UserThis hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to the cruise terminal and directly opposite Gulangyu Island. It's also conveniently close to other attractions, making getting around a breeze. The hotel itself is quite nice, with good facilities and spacious rooms, and the service is top-notch. The breakfast spread is extensive, though the only minor drawback is that they're a bit slow to replenish items. This would be my first choice for hotels in Xiamen.

MMuguangshangmeiOn my first night in Longyan, I stayed at the Antumanxi Hotel and was completely captivated by its modern aesthetic design! Driving? They offer complimentary parking, which was super convenient ✨. 🌟Room Highlights: The smart controls get a perfect score! 💯 With electric curtains, a smart toilet, and a voice control system, it's a lazy person's dream! My absolute favorite was the extra-large sofa, perfect for sprawling out and binge-watching shows – pure bliss! The bathroom features a dry/wet separation, and the toiletries are premium. I personally found the bedding to be incredibly comfortable and pressure-free – even fussy sleepers will drift off instantly 😴. 🍽️Breakfast Lovers, Pay Attention: They offer Longyan's local specialties like 'Bo Ji Ban' and 'Yu Zi Bao'! The freshly-made noodle soup is a must-try! Pair it with a cup of coffee to kickstart your energetic day ☀️.

GGuest UserCleanliness: The quilt smelled musty, and the sheets were a bit dirty. I felt a bit itchy while sleeping, and there were a lot of mosquitoes in the room. Environment: Our room was on the first floor, and because it was wooden, the noise from people walking upstairs was very loud, which greatly disturbed my sleep. Service: The service was okay, and the front desk helped with luggage to the room. The B&B's restaurant was okay and very close to the tourist attraction. Parking was available, but the roads in the village were difficult to navigate, so novice drivers are advised not to stay in B&Bs near tourist attractions.
