This was by far the best hotel/guesthouse experience we had during our trip to Yunnan. The room came with a Xiao AI smart speaker, the bathroom was clean, and the water pressure was excellent. They also offer airport pick-up and drop-off, which is perfect for guests catching early flights the next day. On the day we checked in, they even gave us complimentary flower cakes. Employee number 666 provided amazing service!

This was my first stay at an Atour hotel, and it was a very comfortable experience. The staff at the front desk were all enthusiastic and polite. They even gave us small gifts during both check-in and check-out, which made us feel incredibly welcome. The room itself was spotless, the bedding was conducive to a good night's sleep, and the breakfast spread was quite generous. Any small requests we had were promptly fulfilled by the front desk. The hotel's location is excellent, right outside Nanping Old Walking Street and not far from the main attractions around Cuihu Lake. Overall, I'd give it a big thumbs up!

The biggest feeling is that all the waiters in the hotel are warm and thoughtful. We have stayed in many parent-child hotels with our children, and the waiter training of this hotel is really great! The room is clean and tidy, the layout is warm and spacious, the hotel is in a good location and very quiet. Especially the front desk Minnie George is also very enthusiastic, and she took the initiative to add WeChat. If you have any needs during the three-day stay, you can send her WeChat to help solve them in time. There is also a male lifeguard with braids by the swimming pool. The child's swimming ring fell in the pool. He collected it specially the next day. My mother insisted that I write down to thank him. The buffet dinner is also great. After the meal, I took the children to DIY food. I got more than one comfortable and pleasant stay experience. Our whole family had a lot of fun staying during the May Day holiday.

I arrived quite late, and the hotel proactively upgraded my room, so a big thank you to the lovely lady at the front desk – I forgot to ask her name! The location is absolutely fantastic, making it easy to get anywhere. The security guard at the entrance was also very friendly, recommending local specialty restaurants and always greeting us warmly, which was a nice touch. I do suggest improving the breakfast service a bit. On holidays, it gets crowded, and we had to sit in the outer bar area, which meant walking a long way every time to get food. On the second day, I asked for a large mug, but they said none were clean yet, only small ones. Having to keep refilling a tiny cup for coffee by walking back and forth several times was quite tiring…

Pros: The hotel has a rich history and has hosted many famous people. The decor is luxurious and beautifully designed. The location is excellent, right by Cuihu Lake. Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded us to a higher floor room (though they didn't mention why proactively). They also provided a sweet soup before bed. Upon check-out, Mr. Wang gave us a farewell gift (yogurt and candy). Cons: For a luxury five-star hotel, the service falls short. The complimentary snack jar in the room had packaging left by the previous guest, which hadn't been cleaned. During breakfast peak hours, it was crowded, but no one was there to help guests find a table. As for facilities, those who prefer showering have to do so in the bathtub, which isn't ideal for elderly guests or children.

The service was excellent; the butler contacted us a day in advance. The surroundings are beautiful, just a 15-minute drive from Haigang Dam, so you can enjoy walks along Dianchi Lake, feed the seagulls, and watch the sunrise and sunset every morning and evening. The hotel facilities are clean and hygienic, and the rooms are spacious. Breakfast was decent and looked abundant, but it lacked many local Yunnan specialties like Ersi, Erkuai, and Shuipaoli. Additionally, the hotel's design is grand and open, making the lobby quite cold in winter. Walking from Building 5, first floor, directly to the Black Pearl restaurant, it's clear the air conditioning struggles to cover the entire hotel. We often felt chilly, even needing extra layers when dining in the restaurant.

The hotel is excellent, and the service is incredibly warm and welcoming. The rooms are tastefully decorated in a high-end yet minimalist style, making them very comfortable. The bedding quality is superb, just like at home – soft and gentle on the skin. Every day, the lovely ladies at the front desk would bring us a fruit platter with oranges, apples, pears, and even pepino melons. The surrounding area is also beautiful; Daguang Park is right across the street from the hotel, teeming with seagulls. Within a 3km radius, there's Nanya Fengqing No.1 City, a large shopping mall, making dining and shopping very convenient.

Actually, I was going to give this hotel a full score at first. The lobby is very beautiful and high-end, and the room decoration is also very good. This level of decoration is very good in five-star hotels across the country. The front desk took the initiative to upgrade the room type with a bathtub. The children had a lot of fun playing with water, but the drain of this bathtub would not bounce back after pressing it down. Only the hotel staff could deal with it. The children took a bath twice and asked the staff to put it down twice. This is not a big problem for me, but I feel that the hotel staff are very tired. The key problem is that the air conditioner does not cool. It was actually a bit hot in those days. The staff came to see it twice and said that it would be fine after a while, but it never got better. I had no choice but to give up. At one o'clock in the middle of the night, everyone fell asleep, and the air conditioner suddenly turned on by itself. I turned it off, and it turned on again after a while. It was quite scary. I told the front desk when I checked out, and it seemed that she didn't take it seriously. So I decided to deduct a little point to prevent them from being too proud.

The view is just as beautiful as it looks, and location wise it is ideal. The room was clean and stunning views. The food was good when it was available, but many of the options on the menu were not available. Likewise, there was no water in the outdoor pool as advertised. The staff also said they didn’t know how to make cocktails, despite having a bar with all spirits available. Finally, I would recommend AGAINST booking a car transit through the hotel. We ended up missing our train from Kunming because the driver (and her friend, who was brought along for the ride) stopped multiple times, including for long snack breaks, so we arrived 20 minutes after our train time.

The location of Lijiang Jinmao Hyatt Hotel is excellent, with a pleasant surrounding environment and a park nearby, along with some local specialty snack shops. The hotel itself is also great. As soon as I entered, staff came over to help with my luggage. Bella at the front desk was patient and enthusiastic during check-in, diligently explaining all the hotel activities. Crucially, the hotel lobby design is very unique, situated right by the lake with views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The lobby's aromatherapy also smelled wonderful. There are shuttle buses to take guests to and from their rooms, and beautiful garden views can be enjoyed along the way. The room size is generous, making for a very comfortable stay, and the balcony view is also excellent. The facilities and amenities are comprehensive, and there are plenty of activities, ensuring a great experience. There are even small animals to interact with. Guests can also enjoy Yunnan Pu'er tea within the hotel. Staying here is truly delightful!
