This was our second time staying here. The hotel is conveniently situated close to JR Line, restaurant and shops.
Check-in was quick, and the staff were polite and helpful. I really appreciate how consistent the service has been on both visits.
Overall, this hotel remains my go-to in the area because of its convenience, cleanliness, and reliable quality. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip in Nagano.
I really love this hotel! Stayed in Deluxe Twin Room, the hotel is gorgeous! The room I stayed was clean, new and big. If the bed could be more plushy, it would be even better! There are shuttle service provided, walk to shopping plaza was not too far and easy too. Enjoyed the hotspring facilities too.
Awesome hotel under the hotel group chain. Location is excellent however not that near to local dinning places (average about 15mins drive). Hospitality and services were beyond expectation. Booked room was as described and as shown in hotel's website. In reality, the room was very spacious and comfortable.
My family and I had a little car trouble on day of check out, and the hotel staff were kind, patient and extremely helpful in resolving the issue. Kudos to the staff going beyond their job scopes I believe.
Overall experience is good, very close to snow park. Only downside is I think that the service is very different from other hotel I went in Japan. We will need to carry our own luggage and they did not help to arrange the luggage to the room after the room is ready.
It was my first time staying in this hotel, my second time in Hakuba.
The hotel staff was very nice and helpful.
The equipment in the hotel is clean and new. I also liked the design of the hotel.
One slight disadvantage was that the hotel was far from many facilities in Hakuba; it would be fine if I were driving. The heat in the summertime makes moving around Hakuba difficult.
I chosen Cottage A to stay in. While there is nothing much to complain about the cute cottage, personally it is a bit too small for me.
But nice environment, good and helpful staff and a very convenient shuttle system to bring you around.
You can also call an internal shuttle service that can ferry you from your cottage to the newer West hotel for their buffet breakfast. Otherwise you can eat at the East Hotel for either a Japanese meal set breakfast or a Western style set breakfast. The bread is really good and soft. The outlet shopping mall is accessed by their half hourly shuttle bus and you can do your premium shopping there and eat at their various restaurants or at their food court style food outlets.
The firefly at night was very good. I think I didn't see it like that when I went by myself, and I don't know the way well, and I think it was dangerous. It was kinder to guide you, and I was very happy to answer various questions. (I participated alone) I well understand that Tatsuno Cho is putting emphasis on fireflies by raising towns. I think it is thankful that you will protect valuable resources from now on.
I think the dishes are standard, but the price was not so high and the room was beautiful. The quality of the hot spring was very good. The view is the best.
It was one of the good memories of my trip that I sent to ina Shinmachi, an unmanned station. I thought that check-out was 10 o'clock earlier than 1 hour, and I wanted it to be at least 11 o'clock to slow down.
If you don't have a car, getting around relies either on the shuttle or taxis, as there's no other public transport nearby. You can ask the front desk to call a taxi, and they arrive quickly. The breakfast is good 👍. As for the room, it's pretty standard, a typical American-style hotel room design, but it lacks any real vacation vibe.
One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. We visited in early November 2025 during the autumn season, and the beautiful foliage added such a romantic touch to the surroundings.
I loved the modern interior, the comfortable bed, and the overall room layout. The hotel looks incredibly romantic at night too, especially with the reflections on the pond.
The outdoor onsen was a highlight. It felt serene at night, and the maple trees lit up in the evening made it absolutely scenic. The onsen is located in a separate building, so you do have to walk through the cold, but it wasn’t an issue as the hotel provides thicker robes. If I had to nitpick, the indoor slippers weren’t the most comfortable.
We drove during our stay, so getting to nearby attractions was easy. There’s a large supermarket and a pharmacy about 5–10 minutes away, which was very convenient — we didn’t even need to visit any convenience stores.
This hotel impressed me so much that it made me look up where else Hotel Indigo has branches in Japan!
We stayed for two nights on a family trip. The hotel is a luxurious establishment with three hotels, a chapel, and a wedding reception hall on a vast site of 230,000 square meters, and we thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing time. The breakfast buffet and French dinner were delicious, and the service was excellent. There was also a large hot spring bath, and there was plenty of greenery, so it was a pleasant walk. I recommend staying two or even three nights instead of just one.

GGuest UserOverall a pleasant stay. Started with a few hiccups due to late and incomplete responses through mail. However, Mr Hiroki the supervisor and the staff in general tried their level best to ensure a comfortable stay for us. The hotel is quite comfortable and serves its purpose as a hotel for those seeking to head to ski fields as the shuttle bus stop is outside the hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel felt a bit dated, and the room was rather humid. Upon entering, the air conditioning was set quite high, and it took a considerable amount of time for the room to cool down.
However, the service was outstanding. We requested assistance a few times, and every issue was addressed promptly.
A special shout-out goes to the breakfast. I particularly enjoyed the seasonal main course: sesame udon. While the buffet selection wasn't extensive, the quality was exceptional. The salad bar offered a great variety of fresh local vegetables. Breakfast is highly recommended.
