The room was very clean and spacious, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and the beds were very comfortable. Toiletries were provided, so you wouldn't need to bring your own unless you have very specific requirements. One highlight was the excellent view from the sea-view room. You could see the customs checkpoint where cars lined up in long queues at night, resembling a winding, fiery dragon. The apartment has a kitchen with basic cooking utensils. If you're staying for a while and want to cook, you can just buy some seasonings and start right away. The kitchen's balcony has a washing machine with a drying function, and there's an iron in the room. The large balcony also features a retractable clothes rack, which is very convenient. A TV is also provided in the room. Another thing worth mentioning is the beautiful complex itself, which has a rubber track. Taking a stroll in the evening with the sea breeze was very pleasant. There's a skybridge connecting the complex to a shopping mall, so dining isn't an issue. The mall also has a supermarket, making it convenient for groceries. If you plan to go to Singapore, you can simply follow the signs through the skybridge to the mall and then directly to JB Central. From there, it's a 5-minute train ride straight to Singapore. This place is suitable for young travelers, family vacations, or even seniors looking for a long-term stay.

Location was great. Do note that this is near Midvalley and hotel shares parking with the building, thus needing additional payment for parking. RM5 standard rate per enrty. Room and bed was nice. Cleaned good and kept nice. Service are decent, can be better and more efficient with the amount of people during peak hours. Facilities are decent too. Will still consider to be back again. Was a nice hotel in general.

The Space Residency Premier Suites, handled by MapleHome is an excellent choice of place to stay, when in Johor. It is perfectly located in an area that is close to the big malls, automotive service centres, and great local cuisines. It is a great starting point for anyone exploring Johor for the first time. The apartment was very well maintained, spacious, and very clean. The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. Finally, the entire experience felt like a very safe place to stay for a vacation, regardless of the duration. Highly recommended.

Drove to JB during CNY and stayed for 2 nights, initially room assigned at lower floor and my wife had some depression issue, with the help of Aulia , we managed to be relocated to higher floor.  KSL got the best location and surrounded by lots of cafe, eateries and foot spas , we also managed to play fireworks and firecrackers since our last play 40 years ago. It’s a memorable and wonderful trip.

The service was impressive, Jeff made sure that we're okay throughout our stay. He replied to all our queries with professionalism; responsive and helpful. He provided detailed check-in and room instructions. The unit is clean and pleasant to the eyes--- we did not encounter any problems at all. The place is accessible to everything and easy to locate. Definitely would like to stay in the unit again. Thank you for the amazing service and amenities!

Check-in process is fast and seamless. The receptionist was courteous and accommodating of request when I asked for 1 more card key. The room is of good size and generally clean. However, the shower area is mouldy and needs quite abit of scrub down. Basic amenities are available, including room slippers (important as the carpet is abit damp). Mattress is off good support although the pillows smells used (not smells from fresh laundry). Overcome it by laying face towel over the pillow. We had a good night rest. Aircon setting is responsive to adjustments which is a plus point. Breakfast is included and a decent spread and quality.

The bed was very comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, so it was quiet at night. The bathroom had stable water pressure and plenty of hot water. The overall maintenance was excellent; it didn't feel like an old hotel at all. 🍽️ Full Marks for Lifestyle Convenience: * The mall offers a huge variety (restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, massage, beauty products – you name it). * It's super convenient for late-night snacks, coffee, or buying daily necessities. * No need to take a special taxi to the city center; you can still have a great time. 🚗 Transportation & Getting Around: * From Singapore, you can take a Grab directly after clearing CIQ. * The hotel has parking spaces, so it's convenient if you're driving. * Taking a taxi to the city center, KSL, or City Square is also a short ride. 💬 Service Experience: The front desk staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. Responses to questions were quick, which was reassuring. ✨ In summary: If you're looking for a clean, quiet, super convenient hotel near a mall in Johor Bahru, you really can't go wrong with Opero Hotel Southkey. The breakfast was delicious too. It's suitable for couples, friends, or short weekend stays. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit to JB 👍

Our room was on the 15th floor with a lovely view of the city. A card is needed to go to our floor. The twin beds were very comfortable with clean duvet and 2 pillows with sockets beside both beds for charging your devices. A table with 2 chairs in the corner. There was no wall socket to plug the cable for the kettle so had to move it to the table next to the bed. 2 bottles of free mineral water and usual coffee, tea and sugar with a spacious fridge. The bathroom was big and clean with a bidet spray. Hotel is about 10 min walk to City Square with many eateries nearby. The receptionist offered to heat up our food for sahor which was great of him. Will stay here again.

Good location as it is on top of Paradigm mall, even though have to take grab to get to the mall. Decent breakfast with the fresh orange juice being the highlight. Good service as they made the bed for the third person even though have to wait some time for room to be ready.

We took the 2 bedroom. Is a apartment unit. Need better sofa or sofa bed. A bit run down. Otherwise ok. Not convenient for 2 bedroom only one access card so another person need to follow to ground level or take a family member from ground level to unit. As for parking the 2 bedroom comes with designated parking at level 5. Can go straight to room or straight to Paradigm Mall. Additional parking need to just register and is free.
