I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and tidy, and the sea-view from the 43rd floor was absolutely stunning. The hotel offers excellent value for money, especially considering the quality of the room and overall experience. The service was outstanding—staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. There are many delicious restaurants nearby, and a shopping mall is conveniently located just across the street. Highly recommended to everyone, and I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel service was decent. The first time, they accidentally gave me an occupied room, but I went downstairs and they switched me to a private room. This is my second stay at this hotel, and overall it's pretty good. The main draw is its excellent location near KSL mall, where you can get massages, manicures, and eat durian.

I had a very pleasant stay and would like to share a detailed review.
The unit was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully prepared before arrival. The room was comfortable and organized, making it easy to settle in and rest after a long day. Basic amenities were properly provided, and the overall cleanliness gave a good first impression.
The location is one of the highlights. It is situated in a convenient area with plenty of food options, shops, and daily necessities nearby. Getting around was easy, and it did not require much planning or transportation. Despite being in a busy area, the environment was generally calm and suitable for rest.
Communication with the host and staff was smooth throughout the stay. The check-in instructions were clear, and any questions were answered patiently and in a timely manner. It is clear that the team puts effort into maintaining the property and ensuring guests feel comfortable during their stay.
While this is not a luxury hotel, it offers a reliable and comfortable experience that meets expectations. I would consider staying here again if I return to this area.
While it took some time for us to find the heater. We found it in the end in the master bedroom.
Also the QR Code for the keypass was wrong, but a short Whatsapp to the Stay's Team and they gave us a new code.
Otherwise, was clean, was nice and bed was good. Sadly me and wife use 2 blankets so that single queen-size blanket was .... small :P

I and my hubby stayed at 16 floor, sea view and city view. Nice view from my room.
Everything is good. Except : there is no power point at coffee service table. I have to bring the kettle to another power point to boil the water for coffee.
Air-conditioning has abit of noise when comes to low temperature and fan power. Could have bathrobe would be better.
Private bathroom, the glass door is not tight enough when close . Water will flow out and the whole toilet is “ flooded “.
There is no bathroom tissues. If provides would be very nice. No face towel, if can provide will be perfect .
Coffee bag is nice when make with half cup of water.
Staffs are very helpful and friendly.
Will come again if going JB. And I also recommend to my friends and relatives once I came back SG.
Hopefully, what I have mentioned above, next trip will see the difference.
We had a nice stay at the St Giles Midvalley Southkey. The hotel is very popular, and you can see it in the rooms and staff especially when it's later in the day. The best part of the hotel is its proximity to Midvalley Southkey mall.
The hotel rooms are a decent size, but the towels and fittings are not new anymore, the carpet is showing signs of wear, and the bathroom is a strange open shower/sink/toilet bowl design.
Nice gym and view, together with the infinity swimming pool on the roodtop, but note that it is a very cold swim due to the windchill.
Breakfast buffet is very good, plenty of choices, but very crowded after 7.30am.
Would love to stay again when room rates are closer to my expectations.

I didn’t managed to take much photos however the stay was not too great. The location is near the highway and it’s pretty noisy in the middle of the night. We didn’t really had a good sleep. The toilet door handle was faulty. The hair shampoo and body soap made our skin itchy, it felt like hand soap. There wasn’t any local channels to watch, only from streaming platforms. The bed was sunk in and the pillows were too soft. The bedsheets also had some old stains.
The customer service was very responsive and helpful so that’s okay. I wouldn’t really recommend staying in this room. Maybe higher floors are better.

Stayed at Holiday Villa Johor Bahru for a short visit. The room itself was acceptable and reasonably comfortable, though the carpet felt rather worn and could benefit from a deeper clean. The view from the room was pleasant and a definite highlight. Breakfast was very crowded during peak hours; however, the team did a commendable job replenishing the buffet swiftly. That said, the overall taste and selection were fairly average. It would be much appreciated if brewed coffee from a proper coffee machine were available instead of coffee from an urn. The hotel’s location is excellent and highly convenient, which remains its strongest advantage. Special mention to Khan and Sazzad for their excellent hospitality at the Reception.

The environment here is beautiful, it's just a shame the swimming pool upstairs is a bit damaged. If that could be fixed, it would be absolutely perfect. The security is also very professional, with security guards patrolling 24 hours a day.
The location is a bit far from the border crossing, but there's a bridge directly connected, so you can just follow the signs. We stayed in R&F Phase 2. Phase 1's plaza area is more lively, while Phase 2 mainly offers basic residential facilities like a swimming pool, playground, billiards room, yoga studio, and gym. The room balcony offers an open sea view. Since it was a holiday evening, we saw fireworks displays all around from a distance, which was quite beautiful. Overall, it's quite convenient. For dining and shopping, it's best to go to Phase 1, which is about an 8-minute walk. For transportation, it's also best to go to Phase 1 to catch a ride; there's a free shuttle bus to the border crossing that seems to run hourly. The customer service was excellent; the Malaysian lady spoke fluent Chinese and even walked us all the way to our room door after noticing we had seniors and children with us. Check-out was also very convenient. It was a great stay, and if we come to visit again, we'd definitely consider staying here.

SShi Xian LimI stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru and had a great experience. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to City Square, which made getting around very easy. The king-size bed was super comfortable—I had a wonderful night’s sleep. The shower was also excellent, with good water pressure and a relaxing feel.
They also offer their signature warm welcome cookies. I didn’t get them on the evening of check-in, but I collected them the next morning, and they were still warm and delicious. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

KKhairul DanishLoved our stay at Fraser Place, especially the beautiful view from the room. The breakfast was awesome — we stayed for 3 nights and the menu changed every day, so we never felt bored. My kids especially loved the bathtub, which is something many hotels don’t have nowadays. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay for our family.

SsakiiiiiinahMagical mornings and sunsets, will definitely stay again. The dinner set could have been better, it was clearly indicated that a main, soup, drink and dessert would be about 35rm nett, but when we enquired, they said we had to add on for the dessert. It was clearly stated but i didn't feel like arguing because the food wasn't very great so I just left.
The receptionist and everyone else was good, breakfast was okay, no other complaints aside from the above.
NNHTDSgoeswhereWe had a total of 9 pax (4 adults, 5kids) and we took the 4 bedroom apartment. 4 rooms, 3 bathrooms. We got the one on 45th floor. If ur afraid of heights like i am, the room we got is facing the causeway. So it wasnt that bad. The apartment is clean and feels very homey. The only downside as usual is the internet connection bcos its very near sg so ur internet will be back and forth with sg connection. TV has youtube and netflix. But no local channels. Below has mamak shop, minimart and laundry. We had a wonderful stay the kids didnt want to go home.
RRenny RahmanWe stayed here on the day of my son’s 4th birthday. We were told that our room would take an extra 30 minutes for birthday decorations, but we were taken aback that the towel decorations alone took 30 minutes to set up. We also requested connecting rooms, but since we had booked king rooms, they were unable to change one of our king rooms to a twin and told us to rebook.
However, the rooms are big, spacious, and clean. They come with a sofa that can fit an adult to rest on. The pool and the small playground next to it were great for keeping our kids entertained.
The breakfast spread was good, with a lot of choices. Location-wise, it is very good. There were supermarkets, plenty of food options (many outside the hotel), and even a laundromat.
AAnonymous UserThe place was nice. Suitable for family with kids. Location wise is very near to Singapore.
After long hours on the bridge to cross back to Malaysia, it’s good that the apartment was near so that we can reach home early and rest early.
The check in and out was smooth. But the quest to finding the parking lot was quite adventurous 😅
GGuest UserThe hotel service staff was very courteous and helpful. They explained all the details regarding my room package and the meals and beverages coupons.
Room was ungraded to a higher level with a view of JB city side and Singapore.
As it was a weekday, there’s no buffet dinner but a 4 course set menu or alacarte menu available. We opted for the 4 course set menu and it was quite good though the sauce for the chicken was a little salty.
Breakfast selection was good too. There’s also shuttle bus service to certain malls and JB Sentral thrice a day with internal of every 3 hours.
Overall the hotel has provided good service. Only disadvantage was there’s no shops around to shop as the mall wasn’t ready and it is quite a distance to walk to JB city centre.

AAnonymous UserFirst time staying at Sands and Sandals resort and I think we would definitely visit again one day! Had a surprise decoration, thank you to the hotel staff for the balloons and cake and the beautiful set-up. Check in and check out was a breeze too, probably as we were not affected by the peak period.
Breakfast was good too! Our second morning was more crowded but there were more choices too and it wss delicious. Room was comfortable and everything is provided, like towels, bath essentials, dental essentials. The connection of the tv was also a bit iffy but we didn't mind.
Parking was also easy for us and location felt safe. Near to tourist attractions like Adventure Waterpark and Woodfire too!
Thank you for the great service!
