Everything is good. I book for my 20th annivesary ❤️The hotel is connected to the mall, the room is clean and big for a king studio room with a clean bathtub. Breakfast is like other hotels but everything is delicious. Nasi lemak with squid sambal is very different from other hotels😍 will definitely come again.
Nice hotel.
Spacious room for our family.
Stayed for one night.
Near to madam kok & ipoh stable market.
Didnt expect a glass elevator, luckily our room only at level 5.
Small swimming pool.
Kommon coffee at the lobby.
My 3rd time stay at this hotel. Overall i can say is the first (2022) and second (2023) better than this time (2025). I don't know why, but I think they need to upgrade their facilities (shower, television channel, mini refrigerator, cleanliness of mattress, got stain on it) cause its look old ☹️. But, the service soo good. They sooo friendly and welcoming. I feel very comfortable and make me want to stay again and again at Novotel whenever I go to Taiping. Btw, their breakfast quite good.
Newly renovated room on 8 floor. Very decent room and breakfast for the pricing. Parking outside the hotel . Good location near to airport and petrol station.
Hotel is under renovation but still is decent enough. 41 RM for breakfast for 1 pax seem cheaper than booking online which is for 2 pax and higher price.
Pro :
Hotel with beautiful design.
Magic mirrow with bluetooth connect to handphone. Can play music gao gao when bath.
Bed is very comfortable.
Breakfast taste good.
Con :
Superior Room is small, size about the same as Tokyo hotel room.
Shower area even small til I almost stick to wall to take bath.
This is a basic three-star hotel that covers the essentials. Good only for a short stay.
The room is a decent size but pretty bare-bones.
Most of the room floor is tiled—not wooden, SPC or carpeted —and the amenities are minimalist. The TV set is small and has a limited number of channels. Wi-Fi is not so good, and there is no swimming pool. Parking is free, but it is out on open ground and a bit of a walk to get to the entrance. Difficult when it is raining.
On a positive note, the staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help. Big thumbs up to them—keep it up!
The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. The receptionists were very polite and welcoming, making check-in and any inquiries smooth and hassle-free. Daily housekeeping was provided, and the room was always kept clean and tidy. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would consider returning in the future.
We're frequent travellers to Ipoh on monthly basis. As we arrived early before 3pm this time, counter staff was working on allowing about 2 hours of early check-in, appreciated. Vehicle parking process was well explained. Restaurant staff were friendly during breakfast session.
This is a unique hotel, though the rooms are a bit small. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. The location is a bit secluded, a little distance from tourist attractions, but since we were taking taxis everywhere anyway, it wasn't a major issue.
However, there are indeed some areas that need improvement. Firstly, the hotel entrance is extremely hidden with no clear signage, making it very hard to find. Secondly, the hallway lighting is too dim, and walking into the room, it's pitch black, requiring you to fumble around to find the key card slot. Lastly, there's no power outlet by the bed, which makes charging phones and watches very inconvenient.
Facilities in this hotel not bad, they have rooftop golf, pickleball, game room, swimming pool, table tennis, co-working area, meeting room, gym room, etc. Their breakfast restaurant is spacious but breakfast choice is surprisingly quite limited and slow in refill. The parking area is the worst ever, the parking space very narrow, really don't understand how their architect design the parking space. If you are not driving to this hotel, I highly recommend you stay in this hotel.

NnrdynaaaaaWe had a lovely stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut 🤍
The resort is peaceful and surrounded by nature perfect for a short family getaway to unwind from city life. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, and waking up to the greenery and sea view was truly refreshing.
What we enjoyed most was how kid-friendly the resort is. The kids had so much fun with the pools and outdoor spaces, and we could actually relax knowing they were happy and occupied. Breakfast was good with a decent variety, and the staff were consistently warm, polite, and helpful throughout our stay.
Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience for both adults and kids. A great choice for families looking for a calm beach resort vibe. We’ll definitely consider coming back
OouovOur stay was fantastic! We booked it specifically for Lost World, and it was incredibly convenient as it's located just downstairs. The host was also wonderful, even checking in with us to make sure we had no issues with check-in.

11300CCA very pleasant stay! The hotel's location is convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding soft and skin-friendly, and the good soundproofing ensured a peaceful sleep. The front desk staff were warm and professional, making check-in and check-out efficient and quick. A special shout-out to the breakfast – a diverse selection of fresh and delicious Chinese and Western dishes. The hygiene was satisfactory, with timely daily cleaning. Great value for money; I'll definitely prioritize this hotel for future business trips or vacations.
XXavyerra BanuThe hotel was really good and convenient for our stay. The rooms were nice and comfortable, and my family really enjoyed it. Everything was great except the cleanliness — the towels had yellow stains, so that part needs some improvement. Other than that, the place was lovely and I highly recommend it! It’s a great choice if you’re visiting Lost World of Tambun, though it’s a bit far from the town area.
