London Twickenham Stadium Hotel, a Member of Radisson Individuals

Really enjoyed my stay there, staff were lovely and room was super clean. Really enjoyed the breakfast and the pool/spa. The only downside is that the car park is around 5-7 min walk from the hotel, other than that I can’t fault it. Highly recommended!
Travelodge London Twickenham

The hotel is absolutely wonderful, offering everything you could need for a relaxing stay in the charming, leafy area of Twickenham. However, what truly makes it special is the incredible team, led by the warm and attentive manager, Marta. She and her staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay is not just comfortable but a seamless and genuinely delightful experience.

We usually choose premier inn as you tend to get the same wherever you stay however this one was particularly poor The room was dated, the sink was broken, the baby cot was broken, the AC didn’t work (as the late night staff didn’t understand you had to change it over from heating in the back office), the late night staff didn’t understand the difference between a duvet and a sheet despite calling their manager for help. The floor in room 6 is so noisy that if you did manage to get any sleep, you’d have woken everyone up. The other guests are not mindful either and make a lot of noise. The food next door was awful. The dinner service was great but the food was average. Again the worst beefeater we’ve eaten at. At breakfast it took 45 minutes to be served despite booking a table and having a 6 month old! It was also practically empty as well. When asked for orange juice we were given warm drinks. Overall absolute terrible stay and worst night sleep
The Alexander Pope Hotel

We stayed at the Alexander Pope hotel last weekend when we were in London for a family wedding and booked three rooms, including for elderly relatives. Other family members also stayed as it was near to the wedding venue. What a wonderful and hospitable place to stay. All of the staff, from reception on arrival to bar staff and breakfast staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, even facilitating an early check in for one of the rooms so that we could get ready. Parking on site is a huge bonus. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with all the amenites you could need for the night and we had lovely river views. Great location too! Thank you! One small thing (but a big one if you are older or have any sight impairment) : The lighting in the rooms is lovely and atmospheric but it would be really helpful to also have a brighter practical ceiling light that could be switched on too as some of our party struggled a little to see in the room at night.

It’s a shame there isn’t a grouping for not quite average but not quite poor. I stayed here for a one night stopover whilst working in the area. Nice old pub, but I was a little disappointed to see three hand pumps for ale, none of which were available. Just your routine cold fizzy lagers from around the world. I had an evening meal from and extremely limited menu which was at best, average. The room I had was comfortable enough, but the mattress was starting to feel a little threadbare. No ensuite, so a shared bathroom and separate WC which didn’t give me a problem, but might not be for everyone. This is a lovely old building, but it comes with the things you would associate with lovely old buildings. Creaky floorboards and a few draughts here and there. Again, nothing unexpected in a building of this age, but it was a case of once someone started moving in their rooms, the creaky floorboard sounds made it both difficult to get to sleep and meant an early undesired wake up call. You get what you pay for, and my stay wasn’t completely unpleasant, but would I stay here again? Possibly, but I would consider alternatives first.
