New Delhi Homestays

After many searches for our stay in New Delhi, my family and I chose to stay in this small B&B. We discovered this hotel in a Time Out article and we were seduced by the fact that the article stressed that The hotel was located in a quiet street, not too far from a central neighborhood (a short distance by taxi from the Airport and Connaught's Place Metro Station). The hotel is very comfortable and the rooms are very comfortable and comfortable. The hotel was very helpful and helpful, and I had a few questions about our trip, which I sent in an early e-mail and the hotel answered quickly and was very helpful. The breakfast is very good and it is very pleasant to be able to take it in the garden. For those who arrive from the airport, here is a little useful advice: the red line from the airport metro to the Airport metro station (the nearest station of CP Villa) is incredibly easy to navigate. Everything about this place suited us perfectly. It just looks like a regular residential house from the outside but it has been carefully adapted to offer a lounge and bedrooms on each of the three floors. The staff are so helpful, they will fix you up with transport or whatever you need and they take a pride in giving a really good service. The food is very nice too. The area itself is perfect. Quiet leafy streets and a ten minute walk to a small village-type area around a square where there are good shops and restaurants. (Also an electrical shop where two lovely gents will sort your Indian Sim card if you need one. It's quite a procedure but they take care of it all if you say you are staying at Colonel's Retreat). It was too hot to spend much time outside when we were in Delhi but we were happy to relax in this homely place. Very highly recommended.

Rams Inn is definitely a home away from home. The property is in a narrow lane very near to Connaught Place(CP). The location is bang on for a tourist. It has all the restaurants, shopping centers, 2 metro stations, 1 bus station(Shivaji Stadium) a stone throw away. The place is so calm and quiet with a small garden. It's actually a heritage building converted to an inn. So rooms are quaint and fittings are old but functional. Decent for a family stay. We took deluxe rooms that came with garden views and balcony. There is no lift but that wasn't a problem for us. It has a small in-house kitchen that helps in case of kid's needs. Food cooked was really good. I have to thank the room service guys and Heera specially for their warm hospitality. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone for their stay in Delhi as you are right on CP. We loved our stay and definitely come back to Rams Inn if in case we visit Delhi again.

Located in one of the most posh and remarkably sought after addresses in the capital, what made Indee Home the perfect home away from home to me are: - the ease of accessibility, which is of paramount importance in a metro, - the lovely positive vibes experienced the moment I stepped into the homestay, - the wonderful hospitality extended by warm, caring, considerate and extremely professional hosts, - clean, hygienic and elegant rooms and washrooms, - a hop, skip and jump to the marvelously lively M-block market whilst at the same time, allowing for a calm and serene atmosphere at the homestay. Indeed fortunate to have had the pleasure of residing at Indee Home, I eagerly look forward to this experience soon again. Heaps of thanks!

The first day was fine, but the second morning, the warm water didn't come out, so I just closed my head with cold water. The cleanliness was a bit unfortunate

This was my 4th visit or possibly 5th...I really like my stay here. The staff are friendly (English is tough for some) but they will do anything to help and support you. I enjoy having the possibility of meeting lots of other visitors, either during breakfast or in the evening time on the terrace. A great opportunity to meet people from other cultures. Your room has a kettle and fridge which is handy. As I'm a girl on my own, I feel very safe at this home and would recommend this accommodation for travellers who are by themselves. Close by is a small market area and very easy to get a tuk tub and close to Green Park and Haaz village. Parking for visitor is tricky as its residential area. |This would always be my choice in Delhi..
