Hostel SunTerrace Ishigaki
4.3/56 Reviews
The location is in the city center, the design is very strong, there is an atrium office area on the first floor and the second floor, the facilities are also very complete, the kitchen and laundry facilities are complete. The front desk staff was warm and friendly, but the fly in the ointment was that there was no toilet in the twin room, there was no slippers in the room, the bedding was not very good, the mattress was too soft, the curtains were not shaded, and it felt uncomfortable when sleeping. People who pay more attention to the quality of sleep may be a bit uncomfortable, which needs attention. Overall, it is more suitable for young people who travel and come out to settle down.

I booked during the weekend. the room is clean & tidy, washing machine inside the room. have Cooking stove & oven but no cooking pan. the bathroom is good. It is about 10 mins walking to the city. Closer supermarket need about 20 mins walking distance. The owner was nice and a car park available, I think if you go the city, it is better by walk because it is hard to find out car parking and all parking need to charge in the city.
Club Med Kabira Ishigaki

There is too little information on clubmed on Ctrip, so let’s update it. This is a very family-friendly hotel Three meals a day and free flow of designated drinks: the three meals are very rich, and the dessert area is my favorite. Children's Club for 4-10 years old: There is a mini club in the evening, and you can also book many small classes. You can also leave your children in care and play by yourself. I like the staff at Kids Club very much. The children were introverted on the first day, but they integrated in the next day. Bar: A place where you can go for a drink at any time, and there are shows in the evening. Room: It's too humid. The quilt you sleep on is also humid. It's impossible to dry your clothes by yourself. If you mind using the public washing and drying machine, you can only bring more clothes. There is a dehumidifier, but it is too noisy. Transportation: You can only go to the airport by taxi, which costs about 6,500 yen one way. The recent exchange rate gave me the courage to call a taxi in Japan. Activities outside the hotel: I went to a folk village to see monkeys. The hotel helped to book a car. The taxi fee plus entrance fee was about 10,000 yen. You can also book island hopping, but it depends on the weather, so try to avoid the typhoon season. Service: This hotel does not require passports during the check-in process, so take the room card to see if it is your name. After all, we have too many people with the same surname. It took me a long time on the first day to realize that I didn't book the room myself. This small mistake is unlikely to be made by Japanese hotels. It's very frustrating when you spread out all your luggage and put it away again. When you are eating, a hotel staff will come to you and ask if you can sit with you. This is a characteristic of Clubmed, but for me, it may be digging your toes out of the three bedrooms and two living rooms. Finally, the shopping street at Naha Airport in Okinawa was very nice. We rushed to the outlet, but it was a pity that we didn’t have time to go shopping. Outlet is at the No. 4 station at the arrivals level 3 of Naha Airport. The ticket is 250 yen, half price per person and child, and the one-way trip takes about 20 minutes. You can store your luggage at the airport locker. Thanks to Miss Stella, Ray.
Hotel Happy Holiday Ishigaki

I found this hotel when I searched for a cheap place within walking distance from the ferry terminal to go to Iriomote Island the next morning. It is less than 10 minutes walk from the ferry terminal. It's close to the center and I think it's a good place to go out. I used it for a single, but the room was clean and reasonably large, and even if there was a big luggage, it was a dijob size.
Ishigaki Island Villa 7716

I was finally able to visit again. This time, I spent three nights and four days with two families and seven people with my wife's sister's family. It's been about two years since the last time, but the clean and stylish space with good taste is still alive. I was able to spend a comfortable time and it was a very satisfying trip. I want to stay longer again. No, I want to live. I felt. I am grateful for the consideration of spare masks unique to Corona and hand disinfectant. The starry sky photo at the entrance is still very impactful. A living room, dining room, open kitchen with a wide 々. As I checked on Villa7716 Instagram, the facilities were further improved and clean and perfect! .. Also, I was very grateful that I was able to answer friendlyly when I sent DM on Instagram because there was something I wanted to confirm at the time of my stay. Last time it was cloudy and I couldn't see the starry sky, but this time I was blessed with good weather, so I could see the starry sky beautifully from the roof terrace, and I was healed by the Milky Way that cannot be seen in the city sky. Pop Inn Aladdin is very popular with children. It was helpful because adults enjoyed YouTube with a large wall screen while preparing. This time, due to the stone wall gourmet at night and daytime activities, I left the BBQ in the garden, but I confirmed that the facilities are fully equipped and charcoal is also sold in the facility. I would definitely like to do BBQ on the next opportunity. I recommend Shiraho's nice Villa 7716.
Hotel East China Sea

Great location. About two minutes walk to the port for island ferries. Most of the main shops and restaurants are also within a short walking distance. All rooms overlook the sea and have a terrace or balcony. The view is wonderful on a sunny day. Bedroom not huge but the balcony makes up for that. All the usual features are available including AC, kettle and hairdryer. Some areas seem slightly dated but it was excellent value at the time we booked (off season/ COVID) Reception is on the ground floor but the lift is external so you can come and go without passing reception. Possibly because of COVID, only a minimum cleaning service at the time we visited. Instead, we got two vouchers each day to collect a drink from reception. Enjoyed the beers more than a cleaning service! Staff at reception were very pleasant and helpful. There are also a few bikes which guests can borrow. Location is the clincher here but overall a really good stay.
