Hotel was new and clean. Layout of rooms was proper and spacious, beds were decently firm which offer good rest. Bathroom a little small and lack of hooks for hanging. Kitchen is well equipped for all necessary.
Staffs (front office) were friendly and helpful.
The mini mart (open till 2am) was well stock that added points of emergency need.
Overall I give 5 star. Tks
The entire place was incredibly clean, I mean, absolutely spotless, not a speck of dust anywhere. The bed was super comfortable and the room was very spacious. This is what the breakfast looked like after I got everything.
New hotel- great value for those travelling to Ipoh. You’ll need a vehicle to move around or at least use grab. The only thing I wanted to comment is that the staff should mask up, especially if they’re sick. When I checked in, the staff looked really sick and had snot hanging on his nose. All these happened while handling my check in. It was traumatising for me. The hotel should provide hand sanitisers too.
The room is comfy however the beds are a bit too hard. Each need should come with two pillows, even those single beds.
Reasons for the low service rating:
1. Host did not initiate contact with me regarding booking information. I have to send them a message to inquire for a booking that I had already paid for.
2. Host requires a RM200 deposit which my friend who had booked with a different host at the exact same location did not demand.
3. After making the deposit payment in the morning at 10.30am and providing all other information requested, host did not respond to provide any additional information such as unit number and pin code for to retrieve access card.
4. At 5pm when I had finally arrived at the building, I still had not received any form of communication from the host. I had attempted to call their service line (+601157651449) but no one responded to the 6 calls that I had made.
5. At the mailbox area, I had also overheard another visitor that was also facing similar issue where the pin provided to her was not working and that she was also not getting response from the host.
6. Host offered late checkout that I did not need as I was departing early morning the next day.
The building is relatively new but the number of lift does not cater to the residents, there are many occasions where we had to skip multiple lift rides as it was overcrowded. The unit itself is clean with basic amenities.
The place is clean and well managed. Self check in Malaysia is a surprise but works well. Each co living units has a few rooms but the main common room is well equipped with living space facilities. Location is also nice since it's close to the old town and everything is within walking distance. The parking space has tight entrance but could easily be managed by a seasoned driver. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice and cheap place to stay
This is a very new hotel apartment. It's fully equipped with pots, pans, an induction cooker, microwave, refrigerator, and hairdryer. The only thing missing is a washing machine, but all other essential in-room facilities are there. The room is quite spacious; we booked a two-bedroom apartment. At around 140 Malaysian Ringgit per night during the May Day holiday, it offered great value for money. It was more than enough space for our family of three, with one king-sized bed and two single beds. The living room had a sofa, and surprisingly, the TV even had Mango TV and Tencent TV! 😂
The infinity pool on the hotel's top floor isn't huge but is very tastefully designed. There's also a co-working space specifically for digital nomads, and the gym is excellent. The garden on the second floor is beautiful both day and night.
The hotel itself isn't far from the city center. It's about 6-8 MYR by Grab from the train station, and roughly the same to the Mural Street. To Perak Cave and Mirror Lake, it's about 8-10 MYR, making it very convenient to get around.
The only issue is that since the apartment is quite new, Grab's current pick-up/drop-off point is located at the main entrance on the main road. If you have a lot of luggage, you might need to ask the driver to go around to the reception area at the back of the apartment.
Huge thanks to all the staff for their warm and helpful service, especially the back-office team whose attitude I found extremely satisfying! Thank you all for your help! I will definitely be supporting all of this company's services in the future.
1) car park is a bit challenging to drive up in circle, at least not to high
2) Very new building, everything in the room is very clean, cosy. It has bath shower tub, baby cot. Just that if the group does not need the baby cot, can consider keeping it. As the room has some constrain. Shape of unit is long, with the baby cot, the room is a bit difficult for elderly to move. We let elderly have room with toilet.(main bed room)
3) nice view of Ipoh, easy to find unit. Never use facilities, so no comment on that.
4) Easy to find food nearby, short drive
I booked this particular room for its direct pool access and the bathtub.
Pros: The room was clean, the shower water pressure was strong, the bed was comfortable, and the air-conditioning worked well throughout our stay. Front desk staff was friendly.
Cons: The actual room felt smaller than what was presented in the photos on the booking page. There is no on-site food service, and breakfast is not provided. When we enquired, hotel staff encouraged us to order food delivery instead. It would have greatly enhanced the experience if the hotel offered breakfast by the pool for guests.
We chose this property expecting a true hideaway experience away from the city. However, having to source our own meals elsewhere was inconvenient and detracted from the overall stay. Considering the price paid, the experience did not feel worthwhile, and we regretted the decision.
After a very positive first night here, as a solo Thai traveler in Malaysia, I felt this hotel was so much like home. I felt safe and comfortable staying here, which is why I decided to stay a third night. Initially, after two nights, I considered changing hotels, but after thinking it over, I felt this one was the best. Although it might be a bit far for some, there's a bus stop right in front, just a short walk away. There are also restaurants nearby, and the hotel offers a sense of freedom with plenty of space downstairs to use. Plus, the air conditioning in the room was very comfortable, and the bed was so soft that I slept soundly. If I have the chance, I might stay here again in the future

The room was awesome! The view so nice. Can see whole lost world of tambun from balcony. The amenities all good except cannot cook so cooking utensils is nkt provided. But pinggang, mangkuk sudu all ada. In term of amenities, all satisfied.
We travelled in a group of 3 female friends. I have to say I booked this place due to its industrial themed rooms. It's definitely nostalgic and rustic but the cleanliness is still very much up to standard. We even had a balcony and managed to catch a glimpse of fireworks in a distance. In the morning, we caught the sunrise as well. It's beautiful. The location is best! 👍🏼 it's just next to the famous Thean Chun Coffeeshop, where you get to eat shredded chicken noodles, popiah, asam laksa, Satay, char kway teow. Will definitely recommend this place to others. The only one thing is u will need a little patience when it comes to service. The staff left us standing aimlessly where she went up to the room.
The most challenging part of the stay is the narrow car park access when you drive up to the upper floors. A very nice infinity swimming pool for you to enjoy. Nice view from the unit window.
Iila azilaA peaceful location that's perfect for a relaxing getaway. The Greek-inspired decor is absolutely beautiful and stunning. The cleanliness is top-notch! We stayed in a room with pool access, which the kids absolutely loved. We're so happy we got to rest and recharge at Santorini.
