The family that owns this property is a great family. They are very friendly and accommodating. Great options for breakfast and very clean property. Stop here if you ever need a room.
Days Inn & Conf Center by Wyndham Southern Pines Pinehurst

This particular motel is not easily accessed from the town avenue approach, which makes it easy to drive by. The signage from that approach is small and difficult to see while driving, even when using GPS. We had an unfortunate experience at this hotel; although aside from that I would otherwise have given a four-star rating. This Days Inn is a classic mid-1960s design and layout: rooms are not particularly spacious, but they are adequate. The breakfast dining area is large, but the breakfast selections are limited and just 'adequate.' The room we stayed in was acceptable for sleeping: the carpet was new, the furniture average and acceptable, the TV was a relatively new flat-screen, the sheets & towels were average and acceptable. However, our particular room had a serious flea infestation, which management did address after our departure. My recommendation (for this and any other hotel/motel) would be to inquire if pets are allowed, and if so, then request a room that has not had pets in it. I mean, fleas infestation can happen even at the best of accommodations if guests' pet dogs or cats have fleas. And bring an aerosol can of bug spray ... just in case.

Pros Near and convenient to all golf courses Many restaurants within 5 minute drive Great tv Good frozen breakfast sandwiches as well as waffle maker Fridge and microwave Cons Front desk less than friendly Many guests appear to be ongoing regulars This is a motel not hotel First room broken faucet and tiny bathroom Moved to pine sol overwhelming 2ed room Park outside of room and multiple large vans and trucks parked close to door Doors do not seem air tight and need some basics like oil so don’t squeak Bit startling when next door goes to warm out truck that’s backed into your window and it’s not the truck that wakes you but is the door Stayed 4 nights. One time towel change, trash pickup and never new toiletries or coffee but always smelled like a fresh coat of pine sol applied. Would be nice one star motel with potential but 100% not 2 stsror more hotel
