Chiayi City Hostels

Would stay again and recommend to others when visiting the area! Really nice to provide a little birthday gift of lotion, facial wash and conditioner for my mum. Loved their orange scent used in hand-wash. Location was superb with many food options and convenience stores nearby plus walkable distance to WenHua Night Market. Aircon was strong, bedding was comfortable and loved the hot tub! Only negative was sometimes room cleaning wasn't done thoroughly as cups was unwashed and lift and lobby sometimes had an unpleasant smell. There was tea and snack available at lobby on the first day but never seen again on my four nights after.

Location is within walking distance from Chiayi Train station. Room is quite big and morning buffet spread is quite decent. Service was good/ Quite easy to recommend despite the slightly high price for the area.

The staff are SUPER nice and friendly. My family and i felt very welcomed here. They allowed us to store our luggage before check-in and gave tips on where to go. The room (we booked for 3 of us) was decent and had amenities like disposable toothbrush toothpaste, comb, soaps, shampoo and shaver. There was a hairdryer that was really weak 😂 but enough hangers for us to put up our clothes and a tv with a couple of channels. We stayed on level 7 (accessible by lift) which was quiet, didn't hear the road outside at all, other tourists were also quiet and people were respectful. Breakfast was included in our stay, a relatively decent meal, there were toasts with different spreads, chinese noodles, veggies, meat, plain buns and porridge. Coffee, orange juice and chrysanthemum tea. Fruits were watermelon and oranges. Highlight of our stay was a 7.4magnitude earthquake while we were having breakfast. The whole place was shaking and staff were alert and quick to guide everyone out of the restaurant. One male staff member even quickly responded to make sure guests didn't run under the chandelier in the lobby. Thank goodness everyone was safe, nothing was damaged in the hotel at all. After being shaken up (both physically and mentally), we quickly checked out, and whilst in the room, another 6.4mag tremor hit. Scared us silly again but thankfully, everyone was safe, nothing was destroyed. Staff were very reassuring and empathetic (towards us who have never experienced quakes). All in all a great fuss free stay. Convenient location to get to the train station where you can get buses to Alishan or train to Alishan. Would stay here again if i had the chance!

The room was superb. Spacious and modern. The snacks beverages provided 24hrs is a bonus. Not many restaurants, cafe etc. around the area but a short walk will bring you to these places. Breakfast provided by hotel was great. I would stay again.

Location near train station, not bad. Service at counter so so. Room is clean, window can’t see anything. Typical business hotel , acceptable but not any surprises. Only for night staying for next day Alishan trip here , it is still considered a good place to stay , but don’t know whether it is Saturday, the price is not cheap. Maybe not many hotels to choose in chiayi this kind of small place.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation! I originally hoped for a lower bunk bed, but when I arrived, I found that I was assigned to an upper bunk bed. Someone happened to cancel the subscription, and the service staff immediately helped arrange a bed change. It was really great and thank you very much! ! I asked for information about the breakfast restaurants I cooperated with, and they were introduced in detail and patiently. The quality of the tenants is also very good. No one talks when entering the room, it is very quiet. I slept surprisingly well that night!

About 10 minutes walk from Chiayi Wenhua Road Night Market, the room layout is great, the public area upstairs is very warm, you can lie there to read a book, play a computer, you can also cook things to eat, there is a note paper next to the refrigerator, if you have more food to share, You can also put a note paper to share, very interesting, that day we went to live from Changhua Wanggong Fishing Port after digging the cockroach, just boiled the soup there, super fresh~

Everything is as expected. Room is clean and spacious. I booked a 2 single bed room. Staff was friendly even through we arrived at midnight. Maybe we came at a non-traveling season, we didn’t hear any sound or noise from the hallway. Breakfast is only available if u pay by cash at the hotel which we got. The breakfast itself is average or below average in my opinion as there aren’t much choices. You can always eat outside of the hotel ofc. The location is great as well. Considering it’s only 850 ntd for two person, I have no complaints. If you are just staying for one night before going to Alishan and wish to save some money, I would recommend this place.

As soon as I arrived at the door, I wanted to ask how to park, and someone immediately showed me the parking space. There were also group guests checking in that night. I was informed in advance that breakfast could be avoided. When dining in the restaurant, if the food was gone, it would be replenished immediately. The staff's service attitude was very good. Traditional breakfast that makes you feel super full! ! The only drawback: poor sound insulation!

Staying in a good triple room, simple and clean, but the room location is close to the roadside, there are occasional speeding vehicles passing by at night, the accommodation location is about 15 minutes from the cultural night market, walking around, near the train station, the location is convenient for urban food, is a good place to stay, there is a gym, you can exercise, Parking space is limited, early to early stop, is a good choice to live in Chiayi City. Breakfast is a set meal, simple drinks, fruit and salad.
