GGuest UserWe arrived on a very hot day and the air-con was already on, which is a big plus. Although the room is rather basic, it is very clean and the bed comfortable. Location at Nuriootpa is central for visiting different places in Barossa.
GGuest UserThe hotel boasts spacious rooms and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The accommodation itself is very comfortable, and I particularly liked the kitchen being open for 20 hours, allowing guests to cook whenever they please. The only downside is the lack of privacy; I'd suggest installing curtains or blinds around each bed for better seclusion.
Mmiweekend Janice BehThe overall experience swings to both extremes — some things were very good, while others were quite disappointing.
Good:
New and Modern interior design, especially impressive for a motel-rated property.
Spacious room with an exceptionally comfortable bed.
Wide variety of in-room beverages.
Concierge staff were very friendly and helpful.
Free parking for motel guests (unlike the sister hotels, which charge $15 for 24 hours).
Bad:
No self-service laundry — a major drawback for a motel. I had to walk 480m to a public laundromat on first day.. then only learned that we can use laundry service at sister hotel.
Poorly designed shower area. The shower platform is higher than the toilet section, causing water to flow out into the toilet area instead of towards the drain — very odd design.
Internet is weak, unstable, and slow. If your child wants to play Roblox… forget it.
Housekeeping needs significant improvement. They didn’t wash the mugs and glasses, didn’t clear used plates, didn’t sweep the floor, and didn’t replace the trash bag — they only changed the towels.
메메리팍The location is so good. Walkable to the seaside town center.
However, the cleanliness of the bathroom and the musty smell in the room...
I tried to understand that it was a cheap motel in the area, but
The bathroom was so bad. A motel with a slightly uncomfortable feel.
I recommend this place to anyone who wants to save money. If you have some money, go to another motel.
Parking facilities are located within the motel, but the spaces are too narrow.
The swimming pool was fairly clean.
GGuest UserI didn't have time to walk around. There is a very large supermarket nearby. There may be thick fog near the town in the morning, so drive carefully. Very cost-effective. The air conditioner is very loud and a bit noisy. Nice place.
GGuest UserI highly recommend the Motel Poinsettia for families seeking a comfortable and stress-free stay. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel genuinely welcome.
The layout is exceptionally convenient, especially the car park directly in front of the room, which made unloading luggage a breeze. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment that was perfectly suited for our family of two adults and three kids, providing plenty of space for everyone.
Safety is clearly a priority here; the property is gated and felt very secure throughout our stay. The location is also a major plus, with a Foodland within easy walking distance for all our grocery needs. This is a fantastic, well-maintained choice for travellers, and we would definitely stay here again!
GGuest UserThe only reason I am marking 3 stars for service is because it was all automatic. 3 stars for when I called, and asked to be put in a little early, they immediately said yes and made the room ready. I called within 24 hours of my booking as well so that deserves a 5 star in itself. But the lack of human interaction made it not as exciting. Definitely would have made it 5 stars
GGuest UserLocation was fine for what we wanted, to be close to Gillman speedway. Pool was lovely. Spa was very slow on pumping bubbles & area around pool could be cleaner but maybe there had been heavy rain. Didn’t use the food service.
