One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The room was spotless, comfortable, and felt very welcoming. I slept well and truly enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort and quality.

Stay Manila Hostel on Bocobo Street is a budget-friendly choice for travelers looking for an affordable and convenient stay in Ermita, Manila. The rooms are simple, clean, and suitable for short stays. Its location is a big plus, with easy access to restaurants, convenience stores, public transport, and nearby tourist spots. Overall, it offers good value for money for budget-conscious guests who want to stay in the heart of the Manila.
This was my second stay here, and unfortunately it wasn’t as good as my first experience. During my previous stay, the room was very pleasant and smelled fresh, which really stood out to me. This time, however, the room didn’t have the same cleanliness and freshness I remembered.
The service and amenities were still okay overall, but I was a bit disappointed since I was expecting the same standard as before. I hope this can be improved so future stays are more consistent.
Overall, Z Hostel is a great place. clean rooms, nice rooftop, good food, and a chill vibe. I really enjoyed my stay. The only downside was the receptionist’s attitude toward Filipino guests, she didn’t seem as friendly or accommodating compared to how she treated foreigners. Other than that, everything else was good and worth the stay.

The place is so nice. Service is good but my only concern was the blanket.lit has so many lints. Most of my stay I was wearing dark clothes so himolmol malala talaga. I had to buy lint roller. Hahahah.

It was the best place I had been to in Manila, I would recommend this place for travellers who are looking for affordable prices, dormitories and rooms, very clean and well taken care of. The breakfast is also well prepared, good, and never the same. But I have to say that the staff there are really friendly and accommodating, more like friends, thank you guys and girls for making it so memorable for me.
Had an emergency. My flight got canceled and needed a place to crash for some hours…friendly staff. Clean bedrooms. Bathroom a little but smelly. But totally fine for the price. Would recommend this hostel if you need a place to stay walking distance from T1 (15-20min).

I got the top bed and the AC was on the lower part of the wall near the floor. The designer should have considered the fact that hot air rises and cold air sinks so it was very hot and uncomfortable lying down and trying to sleep on the upper bed bunk. Even if i opened the curtain, i still didnt feel the cold air coming from the AC. If i may also suggest, please sell bottled water if you cannot provide free water because for people like me who came straight from the airport and arrived at 3am at the hotel, i couldnt get out and walk for like 5mins to buy water from a convenience store. It would have been nice if you sell drinking water on site.
The place is clean and organized. There's shampoo and body soap but make sure to bring conditioner. No toothbrush and toothpaste provided but they sell them for a cheap price.
Overall my stay was good. I checked in very late and they give step by step instructions on how to self check-in. Did not get a good sleep tho because one lady in the shared room I booked in was snoring loudly which was distracting (not the hostel's fault lol).

I love the room,I feel comfy upon staying. It was so clean and smeels good. Staff is very friendly
This is my second time staying here, and I absolutely love it! The rooms are incredibly spacious, and I really appreciated the quiet atmosphere—it was perfect for getting some work and reading done. This is officially my go-to hostel in Manila!
We had a really great stay at Hotel Ava! The staff were very accommodating from start to finish, and the service exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, spacious, and well-kept. I was pleasantly surprised by the free breakfast—it was delicious and way better than expected. The WiFi was fast, toiletries were provided, and the jacuzzi was definitely a highlight since it was my first time experiencing that in a hotel. For the price, the quality of the stay is impressive. The mini chiller inside the room was also a big plus! The only downsides were that there was no room number outside the garage (which made it a bit confusing at first), and there were no complimentary bottled water upon check-in. Overall, a wonderful and affordable stay—I’d definitely recommend it and consider coming back.

Outstanding
Definitely one of the cleanest, if not THE cleanest, of all the hostels I've been in. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The bed is comfortable, towel is provided, and the toilet and showers are well-maintained. Across the hostel is a store and a carinderia (eatery) where you can buy affordable food and drinks. Make sure to order buffalo chicken wings for only Php 250. The silog meals are sold for as low as Php 85. There's a bakery and a coffee kiosk too; both located across the hostel building. When you exit the hostel, there is a Samgyupsal place and laundrymat to the right. Good service and great people too! There is a balcony where you can eat food ordered from Grab or FoodPanda. Location is also near Robinsons Manila, Rizal Memorial Tennis Center, DLSU Taft, and many government offices. Love it here! I will book again.
