Hot Springs Hotels in Kochi Prefecture, Japan

I stayed here last year as well. It was such a great experience that I wanted to stay here again this year, so I chose this hotel. The quality of the food seemed to have improved compared to last year. The bonito tataki was delicious. Also, the breakfast area was conveniently located, and they made efforts to avoid overcrowding, which was great. I'll definitely choose this hotel when I visit Kochi Prefecture again.

Amazing view of the Niyodo River with a delicious kaiseki dinner! We had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the onsen!

Cannot ask for more from this hotel. Everything is perfect. We have the best accomodation in here while in Shikoku, where we have stayed in 9 hotels. It was simply the best. The environment is recluse, though it is highly accessible with cars. The star-gazing experience in onsen is once in a lifetime. It was magical to bath under the starry night. The dining experience is exceptional, though it is a little pricey, compare to the dinner we have throught Shikoku. Still, I highly recommend to try the Japanese-style course The Manna provided.

Low ceilings, pillows about as thick as an iPad, and a mattress that feels more like a traditional futon than a hotel bed. Staff are polite and efficient, the small onsen is lovely after a day out, and the location couldn’t be better. Skipped breakfast after seeing the 20-minute wait — I’d skip the meal plan next time. Comfortable enough for a short stay, just don’t expect cloud-like bedding.

We had the most amazing time at Sodayama Onzen. It is a very special place to relax and unwind. Our room had a private onsen overloooking a stream in the forest. The rooms were very spacious and clean. We also enjoyed the amazing food! It was a very special experience but way too much, especially in the mornings. But it was a great experience of fine Japanese cuisine. The staff was so friendly, communication with google translate helped.

The all-inclusive plan included delicious breakfast, a dinner buffet, and the lounge, leaving us full the whole time and very satisfied! Guests included families, young groups, and people of all ages and genders. Our room had an ocean view, and the sunset was beautiful. The hot springs also had a sauna and open-air bath. There was also a hot spring lounge, creating a luxurious space where you could relax!

For this trip, I chose a hotel closer to Episode 36! A hotel with beautiful sea views and a well-designed outdoor hot spring pool. The front desk staff were very patient. On the eve of the typhoon, many buses changed their schedules. The hotel staff also took us to the bus stop with the departing bus! Really sincerely grateful🙏 Highly recommended!

I just happened to see a hotel in Taipei in order to eat at an izakaya. The room was large, but the facilities were old and the hot spring was small. I didn’t know why there were floating objects in the hot spring that day... Someone must have done something unhygienic. I hope the hotel can be repaired at any time. Confirm the hygiene level of the hot spring. The breakfast is very good, simple and delicious, and the scenery is great. It is a good place to relax. The only inconvenience is that there is an access control. You need to return to the hotel before 10 o'clock, or call in advance to inform you that you will be late!

Good location, advanced facilities, high quality food, especially the breakfast buffet with many choices and good taste. The hotel staff are friendly, enthusiastic and helpful, which is a very good impression.

The English ability of the service staff is not bad. Although the hotel does not have a large bathhouse, it can be free to the hot spring bath on the cloud (but not close, and it is uphill) The room is very spacious, simple but the texture is very literary and exquisite, the breakfast is much better than expected, it is a fixed food method, the portion is sufficient and rich. The location is in the city center, two or three minutes walk to the city hall and the library, and the convenience store that closes around 10 pm. I think if I visit this town again, I can't find any other reason to stay in this hotel, I give a high evaluation
