Hotels in Lujiazui Area, Shanghai

This was our first time staying here as a guest. We were lucky that we got upgraded to Club Deluxe River room, which is bigger and better. I love their massive bathroom, very clean. The staffs were friendly and approachable too. I love the view from our room, especially at night. The breakfast buffet has 2 options, western and chinese cuisine. We tried both and it tastes good, good view as well. Everything was great, and we plan to come back again.

Everything is incredible except for the mobile network coverage but you can use their Wi-Fi instead. If you’re in for making your own meals rather than eating out every night, you must come to the place as they have everything you need, from oven to stove to dishwasher to all sort of kitchen utensils. Also, I loved the bathtub. Clean and spacious. Period. Very convenient too. Just a few steps away from the Lujziachui station, the new town of Pudong. About 20 minutes by foot to the Bund or just take a cab. DiDi is fairly reasonable.

1. Location : Excellent since is in Lujiazui and close to the No.2 subway train station. 2. Breakfast : Variety of choices across western, chinese, India, Japanese and pastry. It will be even better if the variety changed few days once. 3. Room : Room is enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Floor 26 view was really good, and the room keeping personnel very good in service. 4. Facility : Everything up to the 5 star level. 5. Concierge : The personnel was very helpful. Will stay again in future if visit Shanghai again :)

Kempinski never disappoints us every time we visit there! We stayed at Executive suites this time and our 3days stay was more than we expected! This was special stay so they prepared some special extra courtesy gifts which was very kind of them! Ricky from check-in front desk manager always welcomes us with kind and friendly manner so we were able to start our stay with pleasant feelings this time too. And a lady who did the check-in had nice smiles and enthusiastic attitude so we appreciate her service too. Room service young boys who brought extra gifts are also very polite and had refreshing attitude as well as bell boys who helped us to carry our lots of bags we’re also great! Room: Very comfortable with stunning view with huge window you can see North Bund side as well as river view, both day and night fantastic view gives you pleasant stay! Cleaning stuffs: They’re very friendly and caring. They’re willing to help you with good smiles, for us foreigners it’s so important to have friendly& polite stuffs to enjoy our stay, not sure it’s because of your education you’re giving to them but you have many great stuffs there! Club Lounge: What a lovely arrangement for afternoon tea and happy hour with some variety of food, cakes, fruits and drinks! Breakfast didn’t have so much choice like American style we normally enjoy at the ground floor but it’s enough to enjoy breakfast under the very quiet & clean environment with another stunning view both river and Perl tower wish morning sunshine! At the downstairs there’re always so many people but at the lounge we enjoyed quite breakfast which was a treat for us in this busy city! Also all stuffs who are working there are very kind and polite with willingness to help, we’re impressed with their good attitude which is world wide standards! I think the reason why we had smashing time there is that every single stuff you have there to help us for small or big had a wonderful attitude and service so we’re impressed so much and we can see you train them so well! We fully recommend others and we will definitely come back again soon 😊

This hotel is definitely amazing and cost effective. 👌 The room was really spacious, with a great view, clean, and the amenities are great. It has a fabulous gym, and the pool is large. You can buy their breakfast which is fabulous, and the view from their revolving restaurant on the 50th floor just completes the whole experience. You don't have to worry if your Chinese is not too good, their staff is fluent in English, and they also have an amazing service attitude which quite frankly is hard to find. Only a 7 minute walk from the Pudong train station, I will definitely come back.

What a wonderful experience it is to stay at the Mandarin Oriental, the place is not only comfortable but also spotless, we loved the river view room we had, breakfast was delicious and of course the human touch made a difference, Wenbo Zhao the duty manager made sure to get all what we need so we could feel like at home. The whole experience was wonderful!

The hotel was very good. The breakfast is very yummy and the service is also very good always will give suggestion and will also always greet us. The cleaning is also very clean and neat . Surrounding also very convenient . Overall very good hotel would recommend.👍

The Purple Mountain hotel is our favorite place to stay in Pudong. It's clean, quite, has friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet, and the location is super convenient. A large shopping mall with many restaurants just opposite the main entrance to the hotel; subway station ”Century Avenue” less than 10 minutes walking (take exit 12),and if you don't mind walking, it's only about 20 minutes to the Pudong site of the Huang Pu river, opposite to The Bund, with beautiful views at night not to forget the Financial district and TV tower. And of course many restaurants, most noticable the Paulaner, for those who like German (Bavarian) food and beer. 😊

The room is clean and spacious, and we have a stellar view of the city from our room. Bed is comfortable, a big desk, and a tub that also has a nice view. It is very near the metro station. We will definitely consider booking here when we visit Shanghai again in the future.

I was there for a very shorth time, checked-in at late evening & checked-out early morning. So did not have food or breakfast there. However, the service at reception was really good. I took help from concierge, he was also very forthcoming. The cleanliness in the entire hotel was at par with any good 5 star hotel. Overall I found the hotel very good and will be staying here in my next visit.
