Overall the hotel has great service and good hygiene. Was surprised to see they even has Xmas decorations. The only minor thing is the mattress in the room is very soft which makes it diffficult for someone with some backbone problem.

This hotel was fantastic, especially for the price. We were here in the off-season and I'm not sure what the normal price is, but we paid almost 1/3 of the price for a hotel of equivalent quantity just last week in Shanghai. The breakfast buffet was great, they have lots of options and have chefs preparing noodle and congee bowls on request. I highly recommend the Japanese restaurant here as well, some of the best meals we had were there. The pictures did not show it, but our room also included a large bathtub which was a big plus. We were working while we were here and there were plenty of comfortable places to work. My only complaint is that they allow smoking in the lobby and in rooms close to ours; this seems to be the case in other places we've stayed in China, but was difficult coming from the USA

Amazing hotel... great location... friendly stuff. Maybe missing a few nearby options to dinner but staff will be more than happy to help you to find a nice spot.

The view from the hotel is magnificent, the cleanliness and quality is everything one would expect from the Shangrila, including the restaurants. But what stands out is the quality of the service, kind, efficient, anticipatory of needs without being overbearing. By far one of the best service experiences we have ever had. The indoor pool is for laps more than fun, but the hot tub is nice and the yoga room is great. Outdoor pools are connected to a nearby water park and not actually party of the hotel, fyi.

At the reception area, the staff were extremely courteous and accommodating, and the other staff we encountered were always friendly as well. Our stay at this hotel was for just one night, as a layover and it had bad weather from the typhoon, but despite this, we had a wonderful and luxurious stay. We absolutely loved the room! The bathroom was my dream! The hotel boasts a stunning location, with amazing views. The amenities provided by the hotel were top-notch, including a gorgeous outdoor pool, a sauna, and a steam room. Additionally, there is a shopping center located right outside the hotel, which features popular establishments such as Starbucks and KFC. The airport is approximately 20 minutes away and we paid 40 yuan via the Didi app. I also want to mention that we enjoyed the food at the hotel. We had an early dinner and breakfast, and it was fantastic! Can't wait to go back!

It should be an old hotel from a long time ago. The hotel has a relatively low ceiling, which makes it feel a little depressing. The TV in the room has such a low resolution that I haven't seen in a long time. There are strong traces of the times, much like the TV from more than ten years ago. The luggage rack is also a Mazar type. Everything else is good. What deserves special praise is the breakfast service, which is rich in variety and the waiters are very enthusiastic. There is a round acrylic sign on the table with the words ”In use” and ”Please take a seat” on the front and back respectively. This is something that all hotels should learn from and is very friendly to people dining alone. In other hotels, there are cases where children go to pick up meals and uneaten food is collected when they come back. It’s great to have this little brand. There are actually five pillows in the hotel, one of which is particularly short. For people who are not used to tall pillows, this is so heartwarming!

Renaissance Xiamen Hotel was nothing short of bliss! Staff were polite and helpful, room was gorgeously luxurious with an unforgettable sea view from the balcony! It is worth mentioning the hot tub with a big window facing the sea, it was my favorite part of the room. It is definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Xiamen. The hotel is clean and beautiful! There are two swimming pools - indoor and outdoor, gym, SPA and sauna. The territory of the hotel is pretty big, full of plants and flowers, plus there are many places where guests can have a rest by sitting in one of the gazebos with table and soft chairs. The buffet breakfast was okay, but in other hotels the variety of food was richer. I guess this is the only things I would improve in this hotel. The rest is all perfect!

All in all I had a very good stay here. Staff speaks a little bit english and is very friendly and willing to help. The room was very clean, the view is great, the hotel bar was cozy and breakfast offered a huge choice and plenty of everything. I didn‘t see anything that could be improved and can fully recommend this hotel.
