Nice simple hotel just 5 min walk from Abashiri JR station. Hotel has boss Standard and Japanese rooms. Clean and well-arranged. Didn’t have breakfast options.

The location is convenient, halfway between the main train station and most of the eateries and bus stops, which are in the main town area. As for the hotel, it’s true Japanese style with no private showers, instead a Japanese-style public bath is on offer. My room was tatami-floored and had the futon prepared for me. The room was just a space with 4 walls, window, TV, small fridge and table. There’s no private toilet, you have to walk out to the hallway to use it, so you have to lock your room door and bring the key with you. Something worth noting is that there are only two power outlets in the room. It’s fine for a one night stay and if you’re looking off a more Japanese experience, this is an alright option.

Breakfast not quite good. Facilitates are old. Door is not locked when closed. Not quite clean.

Location was not great and quite a distance from JR station. Staff at counter can't understand English and not that helpful until the next day we meet a staff that can speak Mandarin. My wife doesn't like the toilet lighting as it was very dim. We had dinner at the hotel and surprisingly it was great as it was cooked by 2 elderly lady.

A normal old Japanese-style hotel. Abashiri is very small, just a few hundred meters from the station. Go left from the hotel and you will see a BBQ restaurant that is quite popular. I didn't get a queue, so I went forward and randomly picked a Western restaurant. All the dishes were terrible. You can use this as a reference.

The room is very small. I accidentally booked a Japanese-style room without a bathroom. Not very convenient. The hotel has a very small SPA. The hotel is next to the lake and it takes about 5 minutes to walk to Abashiri Station. The breakfast is very simple 😅

I didn't have any contact with the staff apart from at the reception and during meals, but they were all very nice. As for amenities, there were nothing but toothbrushes, rinse-in-shampoo, body soap, bath towels, face towels, and a hair dryer... I wish they would sell them at the reception if they didn't have any. At least a comb or a brush... The facilities and food are fine for a youth hotel. I think it's worth the price.

Between Abashiri JR Station and Icebreaker Terminal It's still a bit tiring to walk more than 400 meters with a pull-out box in the snow. Including two meals, more than 800 yuan, affordable type There is a laundry room There is a girl at the front desk who can speak Chinese, making communication easy. A taxi to Cape Notori costs 4,200 yen per trip Bus rush hour at 8am, remember to book early

Some old hotels, it takes about 6-7 minutes to walk from JR station, which is a bit far. The room is also small, but the food is definitely a highlight, especially the dinner, which is the kind of food you would find in an old-fashioned hotel. The lady who prepared the meal told us which seasoning was used for which dish, which was very considerate. There is a river behind the hotel. It takes about 20-25 minutes to walk along the river to the icebreaker boarding point. However, the area along the river is industrial and full of repair shops. Abashiri is a small place, but this trip to Abashiri saw a huge explosion of drift ice, which was quite worthwhile.

Stayed here for three nights. The hotel's front desk staff are very attentive. The size and environment of the Japanese-style room are very comfortable, but the disadvantage is that there is no private bathroom. We stayed in a Western-style room for the next two nights, which was small but had a nice environment. It is very close to Abashiri Station. We took a bus directly to Shiretoko Snow Mountain for mountain climbing during the first day and returned that night. The next day, I took the Abashiri icebreaker to go out to sea, which was very convenient. The hotel breakfast is very affordable and the miso soup is delicious.

It's a 10-minute walk from the station. It's a very cozy little hotel. The service is warm and the rooms are clean. There are hot springs even on snowy days. I will stay here again if I have the chance to go to Abashiri again.

Because Abashiri is not that busy, there are not many hotel options~ It's about a 10-minute walk from Amidashi Station. The Dentsu Japanese-style room is older but very clean. The bathroom and toilet are shared, but it's also very clean. The breakfast doesn't have too many varieties, but it's delicious. And it has mentaiko.
