Attentive and friendly staff. Excellent service and food in the restaurant. Fiona the health and beauty therapist is gifted at her job and worth the stay alone. Tranquil places to relax like the garden patio, and two drawing rooms and the ample bar area. Rooms was and bed were huge.

The hotel location is very good in the city centre. Management is very good and the service is very good.

I stayed here as my partner was having his 50th in the city and as a treat i booked this hotel beautiful big room. Woke the next morning to bites on my leg wash my leg and didn't think much more of them until more bites started to appear on my body! With a trip to my G.P as i couldn't sleep with the itching and hotness it was confirmed as BED BUGS! I rang hotel 3 separate times and spoke to 3 different people and was told that they would get Exterminators into the room and not 1 phone call did i get from any manager to ask me about my experience... i also emailed the hotel and sent photos and no response!!!. Its been 4weeks since I've stayed to say I'm disappointed in my experience is an understatement.

booked into castle oaks for 3 nights for a wedding. a lot of refurbishment going on in hotel. our shelves ect full of dust. we cleaned them ourselves not wanting to cause a scene with bride and groom and guests already in hotel. after wedding we waited until bride and groom and all wedding guests departed before asking to speak to a manager. we showed her a video of our room on arrival. her reply ( THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE A MANAGER WILL RING YOU IN A DAY OR 2 ) over 3 weeks later no phone call. then i sent an email to SO HOTELS 10 days later no reply. i then rang SO HOTELS to speak to a manager . i was told a manager will ring you in a day or two. another 2 weeks later no reply. its now 7 weeks later and thats the appreciation i get for not complaining about the state of our room in front of bride and groom and wedding guests. perhaps i should put the video of our room on social media forums and see if i then get a phone call.

It was almost midnight when we arrived in Limerick in search of a hotel for the night. On booking.com we managed to secure a room at the Savoy. We were greeted by Tony on arrival. Due to it being a Friday night, they were not expecting a new booking. He referred to the night manager, Alli who was incredibly gracious and helpful. He managed to allocate a room for us, assisted with parking and luggage, advised us on activities for the next day and even offered us the use of the executive lounge when he realised we were quite exhausted from travelling. We didn’t make use of the lounge because we just wanted to get to bed but the gesture in itself was really welcoming. We would have loved to stay longer.

Wir wurden in dieses Hotel umgebucht. Dies war ein Glücksfall. Sehr schönes Hotel, komfortable Betten, sehr zentral gelegen, direkt am Fluss. Frühstück war auch ok. Ermäßigtes parken, für ein paar Tage sehr empfehlenswert. Personal freundlich.

Nice hotel with a supermarket next to it and free parking. The rooms are large, spacious and bright, the facilities are relatively new, and they are comfortable to live in. Cost-effective.

It is a relatively well-maintained three-star hotel from 20 to 30 years ago, but it is old after all. Many facilities are difficult to use and have a strong sense of age.

Eat well, live well, and the environment is good, very suitable for family trips
