After driving round inside the walled town (BIG mistake) we managed to find our way back to the Croisades where we booked in for 2 nights. Charming owners, couldn't have been more helpful & pleasant: "Need to park? No problem - just park behind our own cars on the wide pavement next to the hotel." Room was basic but well thought out, wall mounted small TV on which we watched the World Cup. Refurbished bathroom, small but spotless. One of the few places we stayed which had a dressing table area with good lighting, a convenient plug, mirror and hairdresser. Excellent breakfast and pleasant breakfast room/conservatory to eat in. Hotel is 5 mins from the walled town so great location.

Super accueil des patrons tres sympathiques. Limite ont se sent comme à la maison. Chambres climatisées,tres propres,écran plat et personnel tres agréable. Emplacement face aux remparts et le long du canal donc à 2 mn des commerces et restaurants intra-muros génial !! Petit déjeuner dans le patio à l'ombre des lauriers rose et blanc !! trop top !!!

Avant la réservation, j'avais contacté l'accueil pour faire part d'une préférence sur la chambre et demander des conseils sur les restaurants ouverts à cette période. Réponse dans la journée... Quand nous arrivons, accueil très pro en me disant que ma préférence a été entendue sur la chambre. Mise à disposition d'une carte de stationnement, autant dire que c'est un sacré avantage. Chambre très bien décorée et agréable, qui donne sur le jardin qui est très agréable le soir pour s'y poser un instant après une belle ballade dans la cité qui est à quelques pas. Je ne mets pas 5 étoiles car petit bémol sur la porte de la salle de bain peu intimiste et très brutante. Par contre, un grand bravo pour Félix qui est très attentionné, absolument adorable et qui va se plier en quatre pour faire plaisir à ses clients. C'est rarissime de nos jours. Un grand MERCI!!!!

We received a lovely welcome by the owner, along with drinks, but unfortunately, for us, the hotel was only opened up at 4:00 when we arrived walking from Vauvert at 3:00 and looking for a place to rest up. At least the anteroom was open so we had a seat. The room was very small with very little room for our suitcases and during the night the room was quite noisy from some late night guests in the hallway which was not appreciated. There was no street noise. The hotel is very close to the old town walls, just across the canal.

L'hôtel est bien placé : juste en dehors des remparts, à 5 minutes à pieds de l'entrée principale. On peut se garer facilement et visiter en marchant. Par contre, j'avais réservé une chambre pour trois personnes et suite à un problème de réservation, on s'est retrouvé dans une chambre pour deux avec un lit d'appoint de qualité très moyenne. La chambre n'est pas très grande (mais propre) pour deux alors avec le deuxième lit, on pouvait difficilement se déplacer ou ouvrir la valise.
