Materially and aesthetically, it is perfect. The rooms are spacious and very well decorated as is the whole house. It’s really a shame that the human welcome is not up to par at all, no cordiality and totally impersonal. . When we arrive, we have the impression of disturbing and when we leave, of relief! A shame and a deep disappointment, especially when you have just walked 30km…

Believe the website said bar and restaurant but the place had neither. Very nice property but well above and away from the town area and so walking to find dinner was very inconvenient. Nice place but would not stay again due to being sort of stranded without food for dinner.

Belle maison de charme avec piscine agréable. Chambre spacieuse avec bonne salle de bains. Par contre quelques contraintes inhabituelles sur le Chemin- arrivée après 15h, chambre libérée à 9h30 etc.. Un peu impersonnel, on ne se sent peut-être pas “chez soi” comme ça peut être le cas dans certaines maisons d’hôtes. Bon choix cependant.

I am delighted with our stay Excellent welcome from the owners We immediately feel very good there! Only good advice on places to visit and unusual places for lunch and dinner. I highly recommend this place and still don't understand the few negative comments left by people who, whatever we do, will never be happy!!! I would come back with great pleasure

Nothing to complain about the house, the room or the bathroom; but the welcome is the opposite of what one has the right to expect from a bed and breakfast: a minimum of sympathy and friendliness. Arriving on June 17, 2022 on foot (we were on the way to Santiago de Compostela) in heat described as scorching, our hosts did not have the courtesy to offer us a glass of cold water - unlike all the other guest houses and gîtes where we stopped -. The dinner, which we planned to have with our hosts, turned into a meal in a restaurant where the owner took us (and brought back) a few kilometers from his home. Since our departure from Puy en Velay, this is the first time that we have been disappointed by such a welcome, but this is not a big deal since we have had so many other wonderful encounters.
