The front of the hotel is under going facelift, the hotel lobby looks good the restaurant is OK although, it was supposed to be a buffet BF but was reduced to plate service and no selection at all. The hotel room/shower was old but the room cleaners did good w the room, the airport driver was late coz the front desk never told him to pick up us at the airport but he did an excellent job and giving us local tour info.

Meaco Royal Hotel - Tabaco

Facade a bit scary bcoz the alley leading to hotel was dark (well, we arrived 2am) .... and it wasnt very clean. But the room was clean and presentable and big. The toilet was clean. Towels seemed new and fluffy. Bed was big and comfy. Aircon was cold. Room didn't have a view tho. But its ok since I think the hotel is meant for passing travelers and business people on the go, and not really for tourists on vacay.
Hotel Herencia 625 Formerly Abaca Suites

I booked for a 2-night stay at this hotel, but it was cut short and we had to leave just after a day due to typhoon Egay. So we only were able to stay for a night. But I have to say that it was all worth it. The room: it was spacious. It had 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. Had clean sheets. Complete with the usual things that you would see inside a hotel room. Only thing missing is a table where you can eat. The toilet: strong water pressure, had hot and cold water, and the usual free toiletries. Also had clean towels. Spacious as well. I was just surprised to see tons of ants on the sink. The staff: super nice and friendly. Especially the lady when we checked in (I can’t remember her name unfortunately, since we were all too tired because of the 12-hr drive). The guard was also nice :) The parking: they unfortunately don’t have a covered parking and the spots in front of the hotel belongs to the restaurant so you can’t park there either. You have to park at the side of the building. Open parking. The plus for this hotel would be the amazing location. The room has floor to ceiling glass window that offers the best view of Mayon. Seeing her in all her glory was truly breathtaking. The only downside is that I think the glass window doesn’t have a privacy tint and it’s facing the road so people will see you. Everything else considered, this will be my go-to hotel when I go back to Bicol.
Ellis Ecotel

The hotel is by the sea, a large shopping mall (third floor), the environment is very good; duplex room, sleeping to the upper floor, the lower floor has writing desk, TV series, sofa, bathroom, wardrobe and other facilities; the most praise is facing the sea, you can also see Ma Rong Volcano; the front desk is very dedicated and enthusiastic in answering various questions, thank you very much! The hotel also offers a free drop-off, very intimate, and will have the opportunity to stay at the hotel if you have a chance to go to Legazpi.
Lotus Blu Hotel

The hotel is in a good location, just next to SM, walk for a few minutes, go to other shopping malls, there are other shopping malls in the Pacific Ocean, and they are very close. It's a walk away. The tutu is 80 pesos, and the security guard at the door calls 150 pesos. The general environment of the hotel is just for the transition. There is a free shuttle bus to the airport. You can make an appointment in advance and it will be 10 minutes away. Several pharmacies nearby are very convenient to buy masks and disinfectants. There are few Chinese here and no one grabs them. There are many meals in SM, so it is easy to eat there on foot. Breakfast in the hotel, one day buffet, one day set meals, nothing to eat, very simple. On the whole, the service is good, there are many younger brothers, they are all mature, and they feel safe.
