Popular Alexandra Headland 4-star Hotels

We stayed here two nights and found the cabins clean and tidy and the whole area was well maintained. Loved that it was a very short walk to restaurants and beach. Will be recommending to friends and family.

My wife and I spent 4 nights at the Grand palais . Our check in was very easy the staff at the front desk where very helpful our two bedroom apartment was vert clean with a good view of the beach we had a swim in the pool and found it clean and well cared for. The Grand Palais is only a few minutes walk to the Alexandra surf club and only a 15 to 20 minute very pleasant walk to Mooloolaba cafes. We will definitely stay again

The room is quite big and tidy, and there are several swimming pools. Water temperature is fine too. It's great for children to play in the water. We booked a one-bedroom, but we were given two bedrooms in the end. It seems that the location of the bathtub was changed into a small room, making it two rooms. The surrounding restaurants are very convenient, parking is free, there are fewer people on the beach than on the Gold Coast, and there is also a lake with many birds in it.

I stayed 3 nights. Yes, it had ocean views but the main road out front was noisy and so were my neighbours. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well- supplied with crockery and cutlery, but the dish sponge had old food caked on it (and was half of a full dish sponge someone had cut in half 🙄). The kitchen ceiling looked like there had been a fire at some point and the black marks had been hastily painted over. Two bath towels and a bath mat were supplied and that was all - no hand towels or face washers. The bathroom was basic and tired, like the rest of the apartment, but the shower was good. The air con worked. The wall clock that had no battery in it so the hands were permanently stuck on 1.40 said it all, really.

Absolutely recommend this place!! Right from check in, being an easy and informative process. Great customer service!! Good car parking space, and very clean lift. Room was fantastic! Spacious, full apartment setup. Kitchen and facilities, well equipped. Bedrooms spacious and clean. Lots of spare blankets/pillows in both rooms. Bathrooms both main and ensuite, are very clean and well presented. Beds are comfy and and are setup with smart tvs. Very modern apartment with a big outdoor area with large 6 seater outdoor furniture for eating and or entertaining. Pool, Spa and Sauna were well used by my family and are well maintained. Walking distance to the beach, and main shopping centre and great eateries of Mooloolaba. We were literally in the heart of Mooloolaba. I can’t wait for our next trip, and will without a doubt book Alexandra on the Pacific again! The staff were excellent. Pearl on the phone, Ruby on the reception and property manager Cat were all first class. We stayed two nights on the 10th floor facing south and we loved it so much we stayed another five nights on the 9th floor facing north. Both apartments were renovated to different degrees but both immaculately clean and fresh. The views spectacular! Both apartments were 2 bedroom/2 bathrooms. Both had a full kitchen with all the cutlery, crockery and utensils you might need. Beds were all comfortable. The outdoor facilities at this resort are excellent. A large heated pool and a heated children’s pool too. Large extensive BBQ area with plenty of seating under cover. A full sized tennis court and a mini golf course on site were well utilised during our stay. There is a great Vietnamese restaurant at the front of the property (on the street) and we ate there several times. The staff were lovely and the food was excellent. We also at at the Alex Surf Club opposite the Mandolin with easy access by pedestrian crossing with traffic lights. At the back of the surf club there is a cafe which is perfect for an early morning coffee and light breakfast. Coles Mooloolaba is a five minute drive away. Also nearby is Sealife and The Ginger Factory which we all enjoyed. Australia Zoo is also an easy drive. We have booked to return in March 2025, can’t wait, we had a great visit October 2024.
