The food and catering service was excellent. It will be grossly unfair if we do not make special mention of the extraordinary courtesy and service rendered by one, Mr. Ahmed Masry (FB). Regret I cannot say the same for Housekeeping who had to be reminded to replace the used tumblers and replenish the water bottles. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Nice hotel only the corridors which lead to the rooms are a little dated with gray carpet in poor condition. The corridors are sad and need to be refreshed with a good lick of paint. The rooftop pool and spa may be out of order at this time of year.

The eternal four-season standard is the best service in the business hotel I have stayed in all four seasons. Before check-in, people with guest service send emails and call to confirm my preference. When eating breakfast, more people queue up at the door. The restaurant manager saw it and said to send breakfast to my room. Breakfast is also very rich. Stayed for five nights. Although I didn't go out very much, many people in the front office can shout my name. The recognition of this piece has really been very satisfied. The last night was a little unpleasant because of the order. The hotel manager came over to apologize when I checked out. Also sent cheese cake (because I was with my husband and secretly helped with the romantic arrangement and sent a honeymoon cake) The hotel concierge was simply omnipotent. Haha also helped make an appointment for a door-to-door nucleic acid test. (Hotel security guards went all the way to our room and looked at the nucleic acid. It was very safe. ) And also helped buy a train ticket to Cairo. The whole process is called to solve everything. The so-called city view room is facing a Syrian-style building that has been in disrepair. The breakfast is crowded, there are many breads and desserts, and the choices are limited. Beautiful old hotel on the water. I had a great sea view. The breakfast is fine but the roof top location of the restaurant and bar is great! The rooms are maybe a bit smaller than other places, but plenty for two of us and it is quite old and historic so one must understand. It’s got old decor, style, and elevator, but the bathroom, TV, and other amenities are modern and working well. I found the bed, pillows and linens to be clean and comfortable. Location is convenient- near shops, street food, other hotels with their bars and restaurants. Right between the library and the fort. You can see both from the rooftop restaurant or room balcony. About a 20 minute to walk to the library, 30-45 to the fort.
