Villarancia è una dimora storica, circondata da un bellissimo giardino di fiori e alberi di agrumi. Dal cancello si arriva fino alla villa da un viale alberato dove alla fine è presente una fontana con ninfee. Al pianterreno vivono i padroni di casa , ti accolgono come amici , sono persone gentili come la loro colloboratrice.Al piano sono presenti tre camere si accede tramite una scalinata prima c'è un salone tutto affrescato e arredato con mobilio d'epoca, ti sembra di stare in una location di un film. La colazione si fa nel porticato con un buffet personale per ogni tavolo per finire la piscina non molto grande ma abbastanza da farsi un bagno serale rilassante dove il tramonto e le rondini creano un paesaggio da favola. Ho soggiornato presso Villarancia ad Agosto 2022. Il periodo era tra i più affollati dell’anno ma Villarancia è un luogo magico e sereno, un paradiso. Viale alberato, piccola oasi verde con ninfee e piante bellissime. Stanze d’epoca perfettamente ristrutturate ( nel nostro bagno c’era un affresco!!!). Pulizia impeccabile, condizionatore e terrazza regale meravigliosa. Piscina super pulita e tranquilla, con pochi posti. La colazione è però qualcosa di imperdibile: un tavolo imbandito con ogni prelibatezza preparata da loro, forse la colazione più buona mai assaggiata in vita mia. Grazie per questa esperienza incredibile. Consiglio assolutamente, soprattutto per l’ospitalità dei padroni di casa. Grazie grazie grazie.

L’accoglienza vi fa subito sentire a casa, così come una colazione ricca. La piscina, non molto grande invita ad un pigro relax. La posizione consente di visitare facilmente Gallipoli o le spiagge vicine, così come altri luoghi incantevoli del Salento. Forse l’unica nota negativa potrebbe esser data dal rumore, ma solo in alcune ore del giorno, di una strada vicina, ma basta chiudere le finestre e semmai accendere il condizionatore per lasciarlo fuori. Noi abbiamo comunque dormito magnificamente con le finestre aperte, ed il rumore non ci ha disturbato. Nelle vicinanze, raggiungibili anche a piedi, alcuni ottimi ristoranti. I proprietari potranno darvi ottimi suggerimenti su cosa vedere, fare e dove pranzare. Si arriva come ospiti e si riparte come amici!
