Hotels Near Bazar Florio in Amalfi

Excellent restaurant with very interesting specials and with a great view of the main square. Would thoroughly recommend the restaurant. The only comment i would make is that you have to book in advance. But you don’t need to stay at the hotel to go to the restaurant.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed at Hotel Residence for 10 days and we would definitely come back if we are ever traveling to the Amalfi coast again. Room - The room was great, however, this is the only area where, if I would ask for anything to be improved, it would be this. When we first checked in we were given the wrong room as we requested a room with a bath tub. This was a honest mistake by the staff and we were given the room we asked for the next day. However, the air con system was broken in the room. We complained about this and was assured a maintenance man would be sent to fix it the following day. In the meantime we were given another room for the night which had air con. When the air con was fixed in our original room it then broke again which meant the hotel provided us with fans and replaced the whole unit itself. Once this was done it worked perfectly, but obviously the constant moving about and heat was a little frustrating. The hotel compensated us for this inconvenience and we were very grateful for their generosity. The room itself was beautiful. The bath tub with jets was great but very powerful! The curtains completely blocked out any sun and the room was cleaned every day. The balcony was lovely for picture taking and people watching. Location - the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. Right in the hussle and bussle of the town. The bus stop to Ravello is literally opposite the hotel and the stop for Positano and Sorrento is a little further down. The shop to buy the tickets for the bus is conveniently next door to the hotel which is also where we brought snacks and drinks. Service - the service in the hotel is absolutely superb. Every member of staff is so polite and helpful. The only thing they ask is no hot food being brought inside the hotel and that you leave your key at reception whenever you go out which was no bother to us. My boyfriend actually proposed to me on the trip and he organized a bottle of Prosecco and a fruit bowl to be in the room the night of the proposal. The hotel staff also gave us a bottle of Prosecco when we had issues with the air con which was very generous. They also helped us find out how to buy bus and ferry tickets when we asked. Breakfast - lastly the breakfast. Breakfast was included in our stay however we did not have any other meal at the hotel like the dinner as it was quite expensive for us and not what we preferred to eat. There’s lot of great alternatives in the amalfi town instead. However, the breakfast was absolutely amazing. It’s served in the restaurant 7-10 each morning and you order from a slip what you would like. I had the English breakfast and occasionally the pancakes which were amazing! You’re also given croissants on the table and water and can order whichever hot drink you’d prefer. We really enjoyed the breakfast and thought the variety was great. Overall, we would definitely come back and we absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Residence!

It was very nice. It had lots of big rooms with comfy beds and spots to put your luggage and extra items. It was also very fancy, with fancy bedspreads and paintings. Amalfi was very beautiful, with very beautiful and clean oceans and lots of shops to explore and restaurants that served good food. But it was also very hot during our visit, but, luckily for us, the villa was equipped with a very nice and refreshing private pool, which we enjoyed very much. The Villa also has a restaurant that is less than five minutes away from the Vila, which is convenient if you would like to have a meal that is not far away from where you are. Alessio has been wonderful in helping us organise transport, restaurant bookings. My son was out of action for a few days and he helped bring food to him. There was a cleaner everyday and it was spotless. We were just so well taken care of.

We stayed at the Santa Lucia hotel for three nights (still here just checked out) and we had a fabulous time. The hotel is full of Italian charm, minori itself is a traditional Italian town and we enjoyed it very much. Rooms are lovely and spacious, balcony space is good and the shower is amazing. 10/10 for cleanliness and our room was cleaned daily. The breakfast is continental however there is some bacon and egg. All the pastries and cakes at breakfast look fabulous and you just want to dive in. Smaller than the hotels we normally stay in but this added to the charm and the staff are very kind.

Hotel is wonderful. The room was spacious, clean. There was a swimming pool with a recreation area on the territory, but the time of visit needs to be booked in advance for the resepshne (this is free). Breakfast is very diverse and delicious. The hotel itself is 5 minutes from the pier and the embankment. Excellent option!

Hotel service is good, there is massage pool and pool, breakfast and dinner are good

May 13, 2023. In April, Judy and I visited Pompeii with another couple who are good friends and traveling companions, while visiting Italy, Switzerland and Sweden. Our group has considerable international travel experience and each of us really enjoyed Mirosa Bed and Breakfast; the people and accommodations were great. It was an excellent choice. Of note, during our stay issues arose with a booked tour and related timing and transportation issues. Owners Mirosa and husband Pasquale personally took control and, through considerable effort on their part, made it all work out. A hotel a bit outside. Nevertheless, the view of the sea from Balcori is the best location hotel. Great breakfast and clean rooms. Parking is keyed to the counter and parking is in front of the hotel road. It's okay in the off-season, but I'm not sure if I can't book parking during the peak season. It is a hotel that welcomed a comfortable night and a refreshing morning.

The hotel was gorgeous and located in Sorrento with a beautiful view, totally worth the value for the night. My only suggestion is the pool to be open until a later time, and to offer lunch and dinner and not just breakfast. The reception personnel including the manager were very rude. I went to ask a question and the manager replied: ”only if it's one question because I'm very busy.” Every time I had a question I was made feel as if I was being a nag which I was not.
