Had a great experience while staying in this hotel, great location and great neighborhood.

Great western Amsterdam is a very good hotel if you prefer to stay a little quiet area. It’s about 30 mins to get into Amsterdam central station and all the popular sight seeing places. The service provided by hotel staffs were generally very good. Room is spacious and clean also Highly recommended

It had all the basic amenities needed. It’s a simple hotel to sleep and travel easily via metro. It has a 24/7 pizza machine at reception so don’t worry about getting hungry! The only thing I really did not like was the high pillows so if you’ve got a sensitive neck for sleep then I don’t recommend.

Great value hotel with comfortable rooms and good staff and facilities. It's a little out of the heart of the city, but the number 2 tram stops nearby and gets you into the city in around 20 minutes.

I love everything about this hotel. It's affordable and has every basic amenitie you need when you travel overseas. The only down part is you have to pay to get an adaptor. So pls remember to bring your international travel adaptor if you don’t want to end up paying €15 . If you love walking and travel like local . This hotel has a good location . It’s about 30min walks to Van Gogh museum . I will definitely staying at this hotel again when I visit the Amsterdam

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The downstairs lounge had a great atmosphere and we spent a decent amount of time there at night. The rooms were as described and were to a clean standard. Would recommend.

The hotel is within a 15-minute walk to a train station, a metro and bike sharing services (Donkey Rep and OV fiets). The neighbourhood is ok, I felt generally safe.

Too bad . in spite of booking a room days earlier. I received a ground floor room . Which had Air conditioning issue and had to spend night in hot room . Receptionist didn't even consider to change the room stating as fully booked neither sent any technician to rectify issue..... I will not recommend this hotel

Hotel is ok. Checked us in early. Restaurant isn't available for a la carte, always buffet which is 32 euros. Location is a little but walk to public transpo

The staff was really nice and the service as well the neighborhood was not the best but the city center was reachable easily

Overall is very good just a little bit far from the tram station it is 500m away
