Expensive but very dated hotel, check in staff were unmotivated, no greeting, minimal interaction, one of them were doing her make up at the desk, it seemed very unprofessional. Room size was acceptable, we requested twin beds and didn’t realise the second bed was a pullout couch converted, and it was uncomfortable. Pillows and blankets had a funky smell.. if not because we had to stay in the area, we would not chose this place.

Stayed for 4 nights last week for work just across the industrial estate, and I must say I am very impressed with the improvements made in the last few months. Staff are cheerful and nothing is too much trouble. Hoping that work continue to book me in here!

Why were we not told about the changes to the hotel before our visit. Areas closed off, no children's play area, limited menu than normally available at Premier Inn. General public not allowed in to drink/eat...etc etc all of which resulted in a cold atmosphere We have used and enjoyed using this hotel chain for a number of years but now we will be looking for somewhere new. Very disappointed....

Stayed for a couple nights all staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way for guests. The restaurant was also brilliant, good service and lovely food. If I was in the area again I would definitely stay here as it meets all my wants and needs

This was my first stay here and was a bit disappointed. The hotel is run down and looks tired from the outside. The room was also a bit grubby and in need of a facelift. The restaurant was not open when I stayed so had to find alternative food options. Overall a disappointing stay.

The room was okay I wouldn't say anything more than that, the outside of the hotel looks dirty and old. The staff are excellent and are doing all they can, the restaurant is small which was a big letdown as the food was poor. This is a very tired hotel, and I will not return anytime soon.

The lack of quality staff affects the service given to guests. I did not feel reassured that I was cared for

Bedroom smelt strongly of smoke, hence moved rooms. Our new room had towels for one person only, and a dodgy hairdryer. Breakfast was awful as half of the hot breakfast was depleted (only 9am) even after waiting patiently for at least 10 mins.

John Smallcombe2/5just now on  Google Stayed for one night last weekend. Have stayed many times before as convenient for visiting our daughter. They have now made the car park for public use and charge £7 a day including residents When I checked in I said that I did not know about the new parking charge as I had booked back in June. The young girl receptionist said that she just going to check that as if people had booked before July they would be charged. I asked of the Hdmi input in the room was working as on many occasions in the past it had not been. She commented that she believed so. Upon entering the room I found it hot and tried to turn on the A/C but it didn't work I immediately returned to reception and asked to change rooms one of the receptionist colleagues got up and went into a back room. When she returned she stated it is now working, apparently turned off centrally I commented to the receptionist that I often have problems when staying. She responded "well don't bother to stay here then" I responded that this was not the right attitude from a company employee. She just shrugged her shoulders With the imposition of a parking charge and the receptionist attitude I will not be staying here again

We have stayed her many times to visit family but may have to try else where next time. Now you have to add on to the cost of your stay, parking! As this is a new policy it should have been made clear on the website. The room is not cheap to start with and though comfortable and clean, still expensive. The Brewers fayre next door still needs more attention. We booked breakfast, increased price, now £10.99. And again the plate warmer was not switched on so cold plates, have complained before but no change. I had to ask for some croissants, it was pretty empty in that area. The staff need to be trained in customer service as no greeting, no smiles. Pretty depressing start to your day.

I have stayed at this premier inn several times, rooms are of a good standard and the reception staff always friendly and helpful. On this visit (Sept 2024), I was shocked that the free parking was no longer available- there is now a pay machine at the entrance, it cost £14 for parking for my overnight stay!!

We stayed the night at this premier inn because we were doing a long drive and wanted to rest for the night . We had to pay extra for parking but was about £10 . Family rooms are big and they've got everything you need . Nice bathtub , they've got shampoo and soap . We had a good night , was very quiet. Breakfast was very good , a good variety of food . We get kids breakfast free for every adult eating which is very good .

We travelled for over 5 hours, and the Premier Inn provided a comfortable stay and bed to sleep in. We were attending a funeral the following day, so a good nights sleep was crucial. The rooms and bed were clean & comfortable. The only let down was both irons in both rooms did not take the creases out of our clothes. Need more powerful irons or a steamer.
