Built in the 1950's this property has a clean character and ambiance. Walking distance to Whole Foods/Publix, Bayfront marina/boat/water activities, fabulous restaurants & waterside dining, diverse shopping options, performance theaters/opera/movies, lots of nightlife/rooftop bars, public transport/trolley/scooter rentals, parks, spas/fitness/yoga, and a short distance to the beach or airport. You’ll love this place and the location. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. I have lots of regulars who come back time and time again.The space is located on the S. Pineapple Avenue side of the building. Out the window you will see the large mural by Brazilian artist Eduardo Kobra and Selby Lane, Project Coffee and Owen's Fish Camp as well as Burns Court Cinema. Lots of windows and skylight in the bathroom. This apartment is unique as it is the only one with exposed steel beams and wood structure beams. The bed is a queen sized bed. The floors are original hardwood with area rugs and the Kitchen and Bathroom are all tiled.When you arrive we will meet you to let you into the building, show you your room and provide keys to you. The exterior doors are coded and always locked. We live on-site in an apartment in the front of the building so let us know if you need anything or a change of towels. We will help as we can. There is a Sarasota Visitor Center in walking distance that has TONS of brochures and ideas of things to do while you visit Sarasota. We are centrally located so getting around is easy and you can walk to almost everything, no need for a car but by car is easy too. There are scooters to rent just outside the building, a trolley down the street that takes you to the beach or St. Armands and a bus stop outside. Sarasota has UBER and Cabs. You can rent bikes and boat rentals about three blocks away.
