Pousada Dos Buzios offers a charming and tranquil retreat in the heart of Búziosl. This small boutique hotel blends rustic charm with modern comforts, providing a cozy base for exploring the picturesque peninsula. While it may not boast the luxurious amenities of larger resorts, it compensates with its intimate atmosphere and super warm service. LOCATION: The pousada's location is one of its strongest assets. Situated just a short walk from the famous Rua das Pedras, guests can easily access the vibrant nightlife, restaurants, and shops that make Búzios famous. Many beautiful beaches are within walking distance or a quick taxi ride away. However, the hillside position means you might find the walk back to the hotel challenging, especially after a long day of beach-hopping or a night out in town! DINE + DRINK: The hotel's breakfast is served in a charming outdoor area. It came with a variety of fresh fruits, pastries, and made-to-order eggs. However, the pousada lacks a full-service restaurant for lunch and dinner, which might be inconvenient for some folks. The small bar area provides a cozy spot for evening drinks, but the selection is limited compared to larger hotels. ROOM: We stayed in a Room called TUCUNS, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: Sweet view of the Greenery (No water view!) from the lovely balcony attached to the room; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Good sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Ok quality toiletries. FACILITIES: No Gym on site, they have a small swimming pool in the annex building SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to the lady at the front office who made our welcome experience wonderful with an excellent coffee! HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Big Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages

Imagine staying in a room that you have to access through the dining room. Literally had tables next to the door. Meaning you enjoy all the noise from breakfast right from 7am. That’s one thing. But it made our stay worse when I asked for another room the next day and Luis, the receptionist then, told me there was nothing else, with a lollipop in his mouth. It made us feel like he just didn’t care about what was happening nor did he have the desire to remove his lollipop from his mouth and talk to us. Stay away if you can…
