3-Star Hotels in Asahikawa

The Hotel is connected to the JR Asahikawa Stn! Exit station and walk toward the Aeon mall. The lift to the hotel is near Saizeraya. Love the fact that the hotel is situated on the fifth floor of Aeon shopping mall. That makes it super convenient to shop and eat especially when it’s-20 degree out side. Another plus point is that there is a bath house within the hotel. The bus stop to the famous Asahiyama Zoo is five minutes from the hotel. Strongly encouraged to stay here !

Very convenient location since it is near JR station and shopping district. Driving distance to attractions range from 20 mins to 1 hour. Amenities such as face oil,, toner, cream, tea bags, coffee drops bags, toothpaste and toothbrush are readily available at hotel lobby at no extra charge.

Rooms are clean, in moderate size. Location is right in front of Asahikawa JR station, and there are many lines of commute bus that direct to all main tourist spots. The only negative image of this place came from this lady staff in the restaurant during breakfast time. She has a very mean attitude to those who does not speak English/Japanese, a bit discriminatory I would say. The lady staff was standing by the exit to guide you. When my parents walked out after eating, she stopped them and call them over to the place where we can return the food tray. She checked all trays while ask them to wait, and found one with a table sign on it. Then she immediately start to blaming on my parents without listening to them nor did she try to communicate patiently. Although this was a total misunderstanding after I checked with my parents and figure out that it was someone else who mistakenly put the sign in the food tray (it’s suppose to be flipped on the table when you finish eating) afterwards. The lady start talking nicely to me because I speak English and a bit Japanese, but her attitude and tone to my parents was absolutely rude.

The location is great with AEON and many restaurants nearby, JR station is also within walking distance. Too bad there's no free parking from the hotel but there's a few choices of paid parking areas around the hotel, the parking area without roof opposite hotel is cheaper than the one in the building. Sleep wear and deodorize spray are provided. Public bath is clean. All the basic amenities are provided. Clean, new and well maintained hotel. Overall happy with my stay here.

I originally liked route inn the most in the business hotel chain. If you are traveling alone, you don't have to be so careful. Japan is grateful that clean business hotels are developing to medium-sized cities. However, in Honshu, route-in is often difficult to use by rail (car location), but in Hokkaido, route-in is often in front of the station, so it is easy to use. When you leave Asahikawa Station, which creates a comfortable space with plenty of trees, you can't get lost because the route in front of Grand Asahikawa Station rises in front of you. On the left side of the station, there is also an AEON MALL equipped with a cinema complex, so you can enjoy buying souvenirs, buying travel supplies, and watching road show movies on your travels. The good thing about the route inn is that you can watch paid satellite broadcast WOWOW for free on the TV in the room. The front desk is on the 3rd floor. It is not open 24 hours on the first floor (business hours 7:00 ～ 22:00, closed on January 1), but there is a convenience store ”Seiko Mart” with many supporters in Hokkaido. The lobby on the front floor is very large. After checking out, I adjusted the time here because I had a little time to get on the train. Isn't it convenient to meet in Asahikawa, which is exceptionally cold in winter? People may have different tastes, but I can sleep well in the route-in bed. I think it's because it's not fluffy. It depends on the location of the room, but from the room I stayed, I could see the train departing and arriving at Asahikawa Station. There is Tenjinkyo natural hot spring ”Traveler's Hot Spring” on the 17th floor of the top floor. The big bath stretches your legs and heals the fatigue of the trip. I entered twice at night and in the morning. The hotel has a large communal bath of another major hotel chain in Hokkaido, and the rooms have only a r shower booth, but it is also good to have a bathroom with a bathtub properly. It's not a special luxury hotel, but I think it's the best hotel as a business hotel. I think it can be used for business, sightseeing and multipurpose purposes. Next time, if you have a chance to come to Asahikawa, this is the hotel you want to choose first.

The room is decorated in Duomi's usual style, a little newer. The bathhouse is quite large, and there is an ultra-high temperature pool outside which is perfect for those who like to soak in hot water. but! Never bring children! It is absolutely not cost-effective to forcefully charge a child fee of 3,000 yen per day when the room price is almost the same, and then only give out a pack of so-called child-sized pajamas, disposable slippers, towels and a duck sponge. The breakfast itself is average, but the price has been increased to 2,300 yen per person, and a three-year-old child is half price. Children are not charged for the 6,000-level Wagyu buffet outside (such as the well-known warm wild vegetables). In summary, it is better to stay at the premium hotel in Duomi, otherwise even if it has a hot spring, it is not worth the price.

This is my regular accommodation when visiting Asahikawa. The front desk is also a pleasant customer service, and although the large public bath is not large, it is healed enough. I especially like the bar on the top floor.

It was very cold outside, but the futon was warm, the room was large enough, the necessary things were arranged, and the simplicity was calm and very comfortable. It is very convenient near the station, transportation, convenience stores and shops. It is located in a not conspicuous place behind the donut shop in the main street shopping park of Asahikawa, but it is a place that is easy to understand.

I stayed ２ nights with my husband and wife to meet my friend in Asahikawa. It was very good, so I think I will be here next time I come. First of all, it is good to have a hot spring bath. This time it was summer, but if it was a winter snow season, I would like to thank you for the bath. It is very good to be able to sleep slowly in the public bath, not the unit bus in the room. The large bath was large and there were many washing places, and it was very comfortable. I was able to experience it this time with a ticket for rock bath. It was crowded on weekends, couples in semi-double rooms ２ names and less 々 narrow, but still, the compact room was easy to use, there was no trouble, The breakfast venue was comfortable to sit immediately without waiting. The breakfast was delicious. I go to the country and stay once, ah, this is good If you think, you will always stay there, but this hotel is exactly that hotel.
