R Hotels Inn Hokkaido Asahikawa ★★★
"I was a little worried because of the low rating, but in fact, there was nothing wrong with it except that the space was a little small. I was very happy to book a hotel with good value for money during the Asahikawa Snow Festival. The hotel's exterior decoration is quite unique. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the JR station. There are also many restaurants downstairs. Asahikawa is beautiful. I hope I can have the opportunity to come again in the future."

Super Hotel Asahikawa
"The rooms are small, the breakfast has a limited variety, and you have to bring your own amenities. However, the price is low, so it's not a big deal, and you don't have to pay for unnecessary services, so I think it's good value for money. If I had to say one thing, it would be that the large public bath is small, so when other people are showering, the water can splash right at you depending on the direction the shower is pointing. It's a matter of how you use it, but since it's smaller than a regular hot spring facility, it's easy to notice, and I think the difference between those who don't mind and those who do is clear. It would be nice if there were some kind of warning sign."
A-Gate Hotel Asahikawa
"The hotel itself was only average, but the bigger problem was the communication between you (the platform) and the hotel. I booked one room for two nights through the platform for four people (2 adults and 2 children). On the first day, a person, presumably from India or Pakistan, checked us in through the front desk (smoothly). However, we needed three sets of towels and toiletries, which we had to ask for separately, and the hotel didn't provide daily room cleaning service. On the second day, when we went to the front desk to ask for four new towels, the receptionist (a local) said that our booking only listed three people, but we were now booking four, and demanded that we pay the difference. We then showed them our booking on the platform, which stated two adults and two children (including the children's ages), but the receptionist insisted that they only received a booking for three people and also showed them their company documents, claiming that the documents showed three people (we don't understand Japanese). The matter dragged on for a long time, with the hotel insisting on collecting the difference and stating that the problem lay between the platform and us, and they wouldn't intervene. In the end, to avoid affecting our trip, we had no choice but to pay the difference and taxes of 10,900 yen. Finally, the front desk staff jokingly suggested that it's best to book Japanese hotels through Japanese websites. If the hotel's claim of receiving a booking for three people through the platform is true, then this incident reflects a communication problem between the platform and the hotel, causing inconvenience and potential losses for the guests. It is hoped that the platform will seriously follow up on this matter and refund the additional fees."
Lampstand Stay Asahikawa
"Due to bad weather, we changed our plans and arrived earlier than the check-in time. The staff kindly accommodated us and allowed us to check into our room earlier than scheduled. The room was stylish and clean. The cafe was also stylish, and the coffee and food were delicious!"
ASPEN
"The room was quite good, a standard apartment. The bathroom was a bit small. The washing machine shelf was not installed securely. The washing machine almost wandered into the room. There was dust under the washing machine and it was not cleaned. The hotel is in a very good location, close to JR station and close to shopping malls, restaurants and supermarkets. The hotel does not provide an email address, only a phone number and does not understand Chinese or English. Every time something happens, I have to ask Ctrip to make suggestions. It is recommended that Ctrip develop a chat page with the landlord similar to Airbnb."
ASTRAL
"The location is perfect and the room is clean in general. Pay car park is right next to the building."
ASTORIA
"The location was good, and it was clean and nice. You can park at a nearby paid parking lot. It was convenient to cook, and overall, I was very satisfied."
THE VILLAGE 1003
Escape to a charming and picturesque detached cottage nestled in a winter wonderland, perfect for travellers seeking a peaceful, private, and snowy getaway.
