I had intended to spend four nights at this hotel. However, I checked out after only two nights, as I had trouble sleeping due to club music coming from the hotel and/or surrounding area. I stayed in rooms 1107 & 1605. I didn't want to checkout, as the hotel, on every level, was excellent, specific to staff, service, room quality, gym, spa (I had one treatment), club lounge, and food. I would have rated the hotel 5 stars without hesitation, but, I lowered my rating because of the noise. If you're not bothered by such noise nuances, stay at this hotel!

I recently redeemed my complimentary night with breakfast at the Ritz Carlton Astana and the experience was delightful. Club Connoisseur members benefit from several perks, one of which is a free night in a deluxe room, which oozed luxury and comfort. That night I also took advantage of my 20% off a cocktail master class that was interesting, fun, and relaxing. I would like to acknowledge several staff members who made a great impression on me for their professionalism, kindness, and competence. At check-in, Aslan the bellman, braved semi-apocalyptic weather (gale force winds and sheets of rain) to open the very heavy hotel doors for me and retrieve my bag from the taxi. Altynay, the receptionist, checked me in and gave me a beautiful room on a high floor so I could enjoy a view of the city. Sayan, who is in charge of Club Connoisseur, was there to welcome me in person and wish me a nice stay. Later, after I came back from the spa, I had to go back to reception as, embarrassingly, I couldn’t remember my room number (I’d lost the key card sleeve Altynay had given me with the room number on it). Ulkbek, at reception, quickly found me in the system and kindly offered to give me a new sleeve so I wouldn’t forget my room number again. I accepted the offer! That night I went to the cocktail master class at Mokki and, after Aizhan the hostess (who recognized me!) showed me to my seat, Alexander, the mixologist, made it fun, lighthearted, and educational. I now know how to make 4 different kinds of summer spritz cocktails! I met a French-Canadian couple at the class, and we spoke French a lot. At some point, Aidana, who was waiting on the master class participants, made a great impression on all of us when she asked us in flawless French, which one of the snacks we would prefer! She also was kind enough to give me snacks on soft bread as I have braces and cannot bite into hard foods. The next morning, I had breakfast at Mokki. The eggs were perfect and Symbat made me the perfect weak americano coffee I prefer to drink in the morning. Alfonso greeted me in Italian – always nice to see him! Even Altynay, who is in charge of marketing at the hotel, came to greet me and ask how my stay was going. At checkout, Mukhtar came to get my bag from my room and carry it down to the lobby. At reception, Nargiza checked me out quickly and efficiently and that was the end of a very special 24 hours. At least, this time, Aslan didn’t have to brave the elements when he helped me with my bag to the cab! Apologies for the very long-winded review, but the level of attention I received from everyone I have named (and perhaps some I forgot) required special mention. I felt very special and pampered by everyone and I will certainly be back. The training the Ritz Carlton Astana employees receive is working and congratulations to all!

Always a great stay at the Ritz. But this property in particular. Up there with the best hotel rooms in the business. Amazing service from all the staff at the front desk and restaurants. Special mention to the hostess at the Mocchi restaurant Barchinay and Sabina - very friendly and welcoming!

Wonderful stay at the hotel. The restaurant is fantastic and food is delicious. The Ozen is great and the staff at Ozen was incredibly kind and hospitable. I would recommend the sushi and the wok dishes. The sushi is fresh and authentic; the presentation just divine.

Returning to Kazakhstan after the years, was very special to me. I wanted to stay in the best hotel of all. Everything is outstanding with this hotel. The lobby is spectacular (it's a special moment when you pass through the doors -special big thanks to the doormen with all your kind smiles). The rooms are large and comfortable. The large walk-in closet is really useful (moreover when you're spending a week). The bathroom is very luxury. All the technology is working well and perfectly useful.And the bed was exquisite.I was immersed in the timeless elegance and luxury that this iconic hotel is known for. Perfection and excellence from the moment we entered the hotel. A warm welcome really set the scene for our stay special thanks to Aigerim ¡). Outstanding in every way and staff simply brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for the hall porters, receptionists and waiting staff and so very glad that we had such a heavenly time. Room exquisite and all aspects of this charming hotel were fabulous. The room was stunning, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The marble bathroom was beautiful with large fluffy towels and lovely toiletries. The food at Ozen restaurant was beyond delicious and the service was impeccable. A very big thank you to the all of the staff as they made our stay a memorable occasion, just want to highlight the names: Nurai, Zhansaya and didn't ask his name, the manager from Karaganda ( only memorized his home place ). The central location allowed me to explore the city's attractions with ease, from Baiterek to Astana Opera. Dining at The Ritz Carlton Restaurant was a culinary journey, with impeccable service and gourmet cuisine. It's exceeded all my expectations, and I eagerly look forward to returning.

If only I could put more than 5 stars. I love Ozen so much—literally the city's favorite place. I'm lucky most of the time to be served by Rabiya and Dariya. Two most amazing ladies that I've met in the whole KZ. I've been to many other Ritz in the U.S. and some other counties. But here, is a totally different level. And 99% of it because of the amazing Staff. Rabiya is a professional that meets you with a warm smile and makes you feel so welcome and to be honest, must be the most valued worker of Ritz. And Dariya ensures that the food and drinks that are brought to the table are top-notch. She always suggests the best things to try. They did the most amazing thing that happened to me today: after learning that I'm moving to Switzerland for some time they printed the best places to try cheesecake in Switzerland (I usually order one there) and the history and ingredients of my fav drink that I order there. I couldn't believe my eyes. I was so touched and almost cried from the cuteness overload. On top of that, they wrote me a card - handwritten to mention everything above and that they appreciated my visits to their lounge. Tonight we also had an amazing waiter, Nurdaulet. I can't thank enough the marvelous staff of Ozen, the barmen, waiters, managers, the hostess, doormen, and chefs. The care, the love, and the treatment always make me feel a bit happier than when I came.

I spent an hour trying to find the button to switch on the radiator in the bathroom, and failed. So, I went down to the concierge to ask them, to be met by the most surprised facial expressions and told me there is a button next to the radiator. It must be the most stupid question someone has asked, ever . They of course offered to show me but I had already checked out. Maybe one day I will return and be able to switch on the radiator once and for all. But if anyone from the hotel reads this, I would love a picture of the button in room 1504, that would be greatly appreciated , so I can finally rest easy. But seriously, the staff were professional, welcoming and very helpful. They attended to my every need and exceeded every expectation. An amazing place to stay and definitely will come again if and when I am in Astana. I would like to thank all the staff at the lobby, concierge, restaurants and spa for being so attentive, thank you very much!
