Our stay at Kamenoi Hotel in Atami was filled with awe-inspiring views from our room. While we did notice a hint of dustiness, the overall atmosphere and the romantic setting made our time there truly memorable.

More suitable for family with kids

exellent location, great service and dinner of superb variety selection

Food and location was mid. Liked the view of the beach from the top. But the service was extremely bad, they had additional charges and when I asked why, they just hung up on the phone. The receptionist woman was extremely unprofessional and ruined the whole experience. Try to book a different hotel. The staff was terrible.

The hotel charged me over price for 6 years old kid. He didn’t even eat much and sleep on my bed. It cost me 9,790 yen. The room is good and if you don’t have car, don’t come. 😖

This hotel is worth for that price. Good environment with nice view. The room size is big enough and the foods were great. Having a nice stay here!

I’m a little torn to rate the location average because it can be a pain to get to if you don’t have a car, but the view from the room (apparently all rooms have view of the sea) is great. A lot of variety for breakfast but nothing really stood out. I didn’t get to visit the onsen because they don’t allow tattooed people. I would stay again, especially in summer on a fireworks day!

It is a family friendly hotel. The room is clean and cozy. The breakfast and dinner is great!! The staff are friendly and helpful.

The room was spacious and clean. The view of Atami's nightscape and sunrise was beautiful. The parking lot is small, so I think it would be necessary for staff to guide you.

Came here for the Atami Fireworks Festival, and you can see it from the balcony, without having to squeeze in with the crowds on the beach. The angle is great, and I'm very happy!

The hotel was very remote, so I followed the navigation system and drove in circles in the mountains for a full hour. However, the navigation system showed that I had reached my destination several times. In the end, I got off the car and asked for directions. After asking several people, I found it. The room was generally average. The air conditioner was noisy and dirty. After the air freshener was turned on, the air quality was always the worst. The bathtub was at the outlet and water kept pouring. However, I never used the bathroom. There was no bottled water provided. The waiters suggested drinking water from the pipe. Most of them did not understand English or Chinese. Only one person understood Chinese, but his attitude was not very friendly. The food quality in the restaurant is very average, so you must make a reservation. The bathrobe was not fully dried, there were no attendants or cleaners at the bathhouse, and the cleanliness was not good. The environment outside the room is beautiful and you can see fireworks. The distance or how much you see depends on whether the room is in the front row.

The room was spacious and clean. The hair dryer in the large communal bath was ReFa! You could choose your own amenities, but there were plenty. The bath in the room was also great, as you could enjoy the ocean and mountain views while taking a bath. I was surprised at the number of items on the breakfast buffet. Everything was delicious. My Korean boyfriend, who was visiting Japan for the first time, said he was very satisfied 😊!!

Japanese-style hot spring resort hotel, breakfast and dinner included, Japanese and Western varieties are quite a lot, hot spring clothes and toiletries can be picked up directly on the first floor. There are Chinese service staff at the front desk, which is convenient for communication. During the peak breakfast hours, you need to register and wait for the room number to be called. There is a shuttle bus to Atami Railway Station, which needs to be booked by email in advance. It will be fully booked on the same day and the next day. There is also a bus in front of the hotel, but it only runs twice a day. The hotel is built on the mountain, and other travel depends on taxis. The taxi from the train station to the hotel is about 1,800 yen, which is also OK. The room is large and fully equipped. The shower and bathtub are together. The shampoo and shower gel are dhc. The hand wash and facial wash are pola, which is super nice and comfortable. It looks quite expensive online. It is exclusively for the hotel and cannot be bought outside. The mountain and sea views are also very good. It was foggy in the afternoons when we went there. If the weather is good, I believe there will be a better experience.
