Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park

The location is very good, it should be close to the downtown location, the airport subway to the nearby (with 2 subway stations), the one that is recommended to go directly, the walk is downhill, 10 minutes to the hotel, the road will pass through the Olympic Park. The Coca-Cola World and the Baseball Hall of Fame are all nearby. CNN is downstairs. The meals in the hall are all hamburgers. They are not very Chinese. There are many restaurants nearby. It is very convenient to go to the attractions. At check-in at noon, the front desk was very good. I said that I would like to reserve a mobile phone number to inform me, but I didn’t actually have it. I can take my room card and live directly when I return.

We have stayed here for years for an annual conference at Georgia Tech and this year was terrible. The biggest issue was that we parked 1 day, @ $45/per day because we got in late and moved the car to the G-Tech garage for $25/day. When we left there was a line at the check in/out kiosk so I checked out on the mobile app. When we got home and looked at the bill they charged us for 2 more nights. $90! We immediately called and was told that they would contact accounting, give them 7 – 10 days to adjust. Did Not Happen. Called again after 11 days and got the same line. No one ever contacted us. So we are out $90 and paid another $50 for the other parking. I am Lifetime Titanium, so good luck to others who have no status. VERY disappointing. Pros: • Location • Some staff members • Room layout/upgrade Cons: • We understand the new cleaning rules and are okay with it BUT when you don’t get the towels you requested, they NEVER emptied the garbage, as requested, and basically didn’t listen to the few requests we had, like wanting more toilet paper. • Complimentary breakfast one day because the restaurant was closed was terrible. • Restaurant breakfast, that reopened, which used to be really good, was not and we only went one time, even though I get it for free. We will be staying at the Georgia Tech hotel as we attend the conference in the future.

This trip was short but really made me comfortable traveling again. This is a great location. When I pulled up the valet guy was smiling as he greeted me and offered to help with my luggage. The Front Desk Staff was Amazing! I love being acknowledged and appreciated and they did not disappoint! Everything available to me was explained with patience and detail. The room was Perfect! I love when I open the room door and what I see matches what I smell….. Clean!!! The bathroom was fully stocked with towels and shampoo/conditioner and lotion! It’s the little things that make a huge difference as TSA had taken most of my toiletries at the beginning of my travel. The bartender was great! My food and end of the day cocktail were on point. The coffee and breakfast hot and good. The restaurant staff is attentive and friendly. I’m one of those guest who can ask a million and one questions and never once did the front desk staff seem irritated or make me feel like I was being a bother. Some hotels stand out because of their genuine hospitality and customer service. This Hilton delivered both and reminded me why it does matter where you stay. Kudos!

I was at the hotel on a business trip and didn't book my own room, so I can't speak to price/value. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast has a great selection and decent food (though the scrambled eggs were very dry my first day there). My toilet paper holder was broken, but that wasn't a big deal to me so I didn't mention it to staff. The linens are on the scratchier side, but that is probably to be expected from a mid-tier hotel - I don't spend a lot of time in hotels.

Almost always leave 5/5 for Hyatt properties but this was disappointing, especially as a globalist. We arrived around 1 am and had to stand out in the chilly weather for a solid 5 minutes before anyone would let us in. Upon checking in, I wasn’t greeted as a globalist, offered water, offered breakfast directions, or given any other direction on the property. When I asked about the self parking the gentleman simply said yes there’s self parking and didn’t give any direction. Our key card didn’t work for the parking garage so we had to print a ticket. When we tried to get our car out, we got stuck on the top level of the garage reserved for the hotel because again the key card wouldn’t work. We had to sit and wait 15 minutes for an employee to open the gate. And of course we couldn’t open the gate at the exit either and had to wait again. We decided to do valet to avoid this disaster again. When we checked in there were no luggage carts and we had to wait 15 minutes for them to track one down. During our stay, I texted the phone number asking for a few items and they only brought about half of what I asked for. Didn’t bother asking again because i kept getting let down by the service. When we checked out, the lady working was extremely nice and the best person we had. When I asked for our water for the day, they somehow didn’t have any water to give. How are you out of water when one of hyatts perks is literally bottled water? When we checked out there wasn’t a valet person working so we had to get our own car. What’s the point of valet if you have to get your own car? I’m usually treated very well at hyatts and have stayed at the centric brand in Denver and have only had great experiences. This was a major letdown.
