Ibis Budget Augsburg City

The strong point, the proximity to the supermarket and 20 minutes walk from the center. The rooms are decent but the cleanliness leaves something to be desired, in our room there were many spiders on the ceiling, we reported it but they did not intervene to clean. Breakfast costs 10 euros per person but is not very varied. Ultimately an acceptable evaluation.

It is 1.3km from Augsburg Central Station, and it is difficult to roll a suitcase on the cobblestone streets. The exterior is faded and has a seedy feel, but the rooms are kept clean. Check-in is from 2pm. Before that, there are no staff and you cannot enter the hotel, so you have to wait outside. You cannot leave your luggage there either. The reception opens at 2pm and you can check in. The rooms are not large, but they are quiet and comfortable. The room I stayed in had a double bed with a single bed above it, and could accommodate three people. It would be a bit tight for three people in such a small room. The shower had enough water and temperature. Breakfast was simple and cost 10 euros. It is on the outskirts of town, but there is a supermarket next door, and a cheap and delicious restaurant next to that, so it is convenient.

Wenn’s irgendwie geht, nehme ich in der Regel ein Mercure oder NOVOTEL. Das IBIS Budget lag aber direkt auf der Reiseroute und ich hab‘s mir gebucht. War erstaunt über die Zimmergrösse und die Einrichtung. Gerne mal wieder

Obwohl ich eine Mail erhalten hatte, dass mein Zimmer bezahlt ist, wurde die Bezahlung erneut verlangt. "Schwierigkeiten mit der Buchung o.ä." Mein Beleg wurde nicht akzeptiert. Meine Mitteilung an Accor /Ibis Budget ist bislang ohne Antzwort.
