It was ok, not as great as we expected it to be for the price we paid to be honest. Nearly $1k for 4 nights for 2 people. Positives: * The staff were amazing, friendly * Location wise, great. Close to town, bus stop outside so easy enough to go anywhere if you don’t have a car/scooter * Large spacious rooms * Problems dealt with quickly - few things not working in our room that were quickly fixed by staff * Happy hour prices pretty good - cocktails were delicious * Free snorkelling equipment available (although very rocky outside club Raro - we ended up taking them to the beach outside the Rarotongan where it was much better snorkelling) Negatives: * Breakfast was terrible - we only ate 2 days out of stay and ended up going elsewhere for the rest * Bathrooms were moldy and needed massive upgrade * No hand soap provided in bathroom * Towels provided in rooms you could take off skin with they were that hard - (poolside towels you could sign out daily from reception were a lot better) * Guests were allowed to plug their phones in and have their playlist playing around the pool - one day it was terrible music to the point several guests said something to staff/left and yet the guests were allowed to continue to have their music playing. Staff weren’t very helpful in resolving it after complaints were made. We’d all paid to be there - not to listen to one persons music - that’s why headphones were invented (take requests yes, but to let someone take over the whole playlist - no) * Daily housekeeping only came once in the 4 days we were there - had to find them one day to get fresh (still hard) towels and loo roll * Advertise they do daily activities on their website but we only saw the crab racing while we were there & it was only because we went to the bar & saw the board we knew about it. Overall, we wouldn’t stay again & were very disappointed after spending a good amount of money on our stay.
