Ravenscraig Guest House

I stayed here for two nights in September. I guess Aviemore was experiencing a heat wave because it was uncomfortably hot. The rooms do not have AC (the owners provide a tower fan) and, probably, during most of the year, AC is not necessary, but it certainly would have helped during my stay. Otherwise the room was excellent, the bed comfortable and everything else in order. The breakfast was tasty.

Lovely greeting from the owner, warm and friendly. Room was perfect and slept well. Close to the centre with shops for all your needs. Perfect breakfast with fresh local produce, delicious. Only stayed a night but it was great and would recommend a visit there.

Great time at the Ravenscraig. A very warm welcome. Very well appointed rooms with every amenity. Fantastic facilities for mountain bikers and hill walkers with drying rooms, secure bike storage and bike cleaning. Would highly recommend the Ravenscraig breakfast a wide variety catering for all tastes. Just a perfect stay in every possible way.

Wow , What an amazing place this is , great location , absolutely beautiful interior and fantastic friendly staff . First class booking provided followed by warm welcoming check in . The room we had was one of the comfiest rooms ever and spotlessly clean . Comfy comfy bed with quality linen ,slept like a baby , plus we had a front room so had the beautiful views and with the windows down can’t hear a thing . Large bathroom again like new with plenty of amenities and large fluffy towels . After a great nights sleep down for breakfast we went . This is an affair alone excellent seating options in three separate rooms again pick the right one and views again . The food was cooked to perfection and a very good choice of different plates . We ate in the larger of the rooms lovely calm atmosphere and yes the staff were first class couldn’t do enough for you . No wonder this place is rated 5 out of 5 💯 Look forward to returning here sooner rather than later. Thanks to Scott , Helena and their amazing team .

Super accommodating friendly staff, room was spotless and they have amazingly soft towels. This wasn’t our first time staying here and it was just as expected, it is our forever home whenever visiting Aviemore what more is there to say other than just get yourself booked in if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Aviemore.

Very nice stay. The house is full of charm, the couple running the B&B very friendly and accomodating, helping us to park our bikes, and the breakfast is fantastic! Very confortable rooms and beds, very nicely decorated. And to finish, perfect location, easy to park and very near the town center.

Our first time at Ravenscaig and probably won’t be our last. We stayed in chalet 7 tucked away behind the main guesthouse. It was clean and spacious, private and quiet. Comfortable beds and pillows helped make for a decent nights sleep. Great choice for breakfast, served up by friendly staff. I’d definitely recommend Ravenscaig if you’re heading to Aviemore.

Great place to stay. Room was immaculate. Breakfast was top notch and service was perfect. We had wet hiking boots and a member of staff guided us to a drying room out the back and I was delighted. This is a real selling point and could be pointed out to guests on check in.

Stayed 3 nights. Great comfortable room in very quiet setting. Breakfast was amazing; the freshest of eggs provided by on site chickens! Staff was warm and friendly. Location is great to Loch Ness, hiking and other activities. Highly recommend.
