Ella Heritage

A great hotel, beautiful room with four-poster bed and view of Ella Rock from the green terrace. Very clean! Well located in the center of Ella. Hiking to Adam's Peak and the 9 Arch Bridge and seeing the waterfalls is easy from there. There was no pool, but we didn't think that was so bad. The food was fabulous - the best breakfast in Sri Lanka and the dinner was really tasty too.

Bad place to be in - was here for 2 nights but trust me wasted my 200$ for 2 nights here . Property has nothing to offer in terms of view and facilities . Breakfast spread was very very poor and below average . Fail to understand why we should pay such a high price for this place … Would never recommend this anyone ever again !!! Best part the so called reception lady has the audacity to say please pay in full before entering !!!

Fabulous location with views of Ella rock from rooms. Room was excellent, comfortable, clean, good A/C, utilities, and a clean attached bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. Friendly and responsive staff. Good value. Walk to town center which has a good selection of restaurants. Proximity to scenic sites, including Nine Arches Bridge, and spectacular geologic sites.

Do no go here . The new owner cancelled our reservation one week before arrival. He wants to charge higher prices to make a higher profit. We now had to find a new location which is costing more. Do not help this owner make any profit. The way he operates is unfair

Fabulous place, fabulous staff, loved the stay, staff is so professional. Gave us a family like stay. rooms and the bathrooms were so clean. The vibes were super. Closed to the town center, 98 acres, flying ravana, etc. Where we stated was above the sky.

We booked this hotel because of the location. It’s close enough to the Main Street to walk ( 5 minutes) but far enough to be away from the noise and bustle. It’s also only a 20 minute walk to 9 arch bridge and the start of Little Adam’s Peak. The room is clean and comfortable with amazing view of Ella peak. The shower is hot and is rain shower, hand held and body only. The bed was so comfortable . To top it all the staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful. The hairdryer didn’t work very well and they brought me a new one in less than 10 minutes. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was huge. Choice of eggs, breads, coconut pancakes, hoppers and Sri Lankan style. Plus tea, coffee and fresh watermelon juice. Definitely recommend this hotel

A beautiful and quiet getaway we had at Ella Heritage. The accomodation was very comfortable and relaxing, especially after spending the day doing activities nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the staff were very accommodating to our requests. Shoutout to Haroon who went above and beyond to cater to us. Can’t wait to come back here!
