I travel quite a lot and can compare the services in this Arezzo 4 star hotel and others in the country: the plus: - futuristic and pure look and decoration. - a warm welcoming and helpfull staff available all the time. - a lot of Tesla superchargers the minus: - lots of stuff missing in the room to be rated as a four star : no slippers, no coffee or tea set, no vanity set in the bath room ( barely a single soap..), en empty minibar, no paper and pencils to take notes, no handkerchief , old and dirty carpet, a TV with less than 15 channels and only one in french and one in english, The breakfast is minimal and for 35€ you expect much more variety and quality food. And yesterday a diesel power generator ran all night, the people in the next room had a dog ( they accept animals in this hotel??) barking all night long. I attach pictures to illustrate all of this.

Well-kept hotel in a very quiet area, Mrs. Sandra very kind, definitely a comfortable place close to everything. The structure also has a very convenient car park for unloading and loading luggage.

We booked a week in this facility. What to say ... was all spectacular! The beautiful, wide room (although it would need a new renovated) and above all very clean. Breakfast really good: wonderful cakes, different mornings, salty cakes, sauces and cheese with hot bread, pancakes ( sofas, which my husband loved). The small but very beautiful pool, we used it some afternoon to look for a little cold. The pool fabrics are provided by the facility. Very comfortable and available staff: we felt really cockooted (especially a couple of Campania staff boys with whom we often stopped talking, and who sometimes advised us). All really very nice, it's a pity that the holiday is over ... Compliments for this nice reality, made especially by young people, and we hope to come back soon!

At the basement level, you have to go around the back of the hotel to park. After parking, there are stairs to go up. 3. The hotel breakfast is also good, and the dinner also has local characteristics. The only thing that felt uncomfortable was that I lived on the third floor and there was no direct elevator. The elevator only went to the second floor, and there was a long corridor to get to the room. Not many guests settled in. Quiet, plus the classical-style rooms. , I feel scared at night. I have posted negative reviews, but rarely and only when I think it will keep someone else from being harmed. So if you are contemplating a stay at Osteria dell'Orcia, read this first. When it was time to book, the first call to the hotel was answer by Silvano the owner with a very cheerful “good morning.” So upbeat and cheerful that it felt like the soul of two millennia of that famous Italian hospitality was embodied in this man. A few logistical missteps on his part changed everything. It began when Silvano’s driver Francisco failed to show up at the airport in Rome to meet me and my elderly mother. I am sure there is a side to their story but I can’t imagine what it is. The pickup, flight information, hours, everything was clearly documented in email exchanges with both Silvano and directly with his driver. It probably had something to do with my afternoon flight being one hour late, information that was shared with them by email (twice) more than 6 hours before my scheduled arrival. Not to belabor this but when I called Silvano and inquired about where to find his driver, he went on a tirade that exhibited well known qualities of a clinically bipolar person. Not only did he not propose a solution but he told me not to come to his hotel and he made several more furious, mostly incoherent statements. We found lodging in Rome. I tried to call Silvano again to understand what had happened hoping that if there was a misunderstanding it could be smoothed over. He uttered something in Italian and then hung up on me. The next day I received an email from Francisco the driver who was supposed to meet me. It was a photograph of a menacing man who looked like Che Guevara showing his teeth. Underneath him was printed Sto Cazzo. Google translated that as F**k You. Be forewarned.
