After a long day of meetings, I was able to unwind and explore the city's cultural landmarks, thanks to the hotel's central location. Whether it was enjoying a leisurely stroll through nearby parks or experiencing the vibrant local cuisine, Athens Downtown Residences served as the perfect home base for my dual-purpose trip.

Τρία βράδια δεν κατάφερα να κοιμηθώ. Μεταξύ των δωματίων δεν υπήρχε ηχομόνωση, με αποτέλεσμα να ακούγονται από ...καζανάκια μέχρι και απλές ομιλίες απο διπλανά, απέναντι ή απο πάνω δωμάτια. Αποκορύφωμα η επίσκεψη σχολείου απο Κύπρο για το οποίο πάρα τις εκκλήσεις μου, οι υπεύθυνοι δεν έκαναν τίποτα για να υπάρχει ησυχία το βράδυ. Αποτέλεσμα, τρεις ημέρες κυριολεκτικά άυπνος. Αν είστε κουφός ή κοιμάστε εύκολα και βαριά, τότε δεν θα έχετε πρόβλημα και δεν το λέω ειρωνικά Η κράτηση έγινε τηλεφωνικά, παρ' οτι ζήτησα 3 διανυκτερεύσεις, ο υπάλληλος ειχε κάνει λάθος και καταχώρησε 2 νύχτες, σε email που έστειλα 4 μερες πριν την άφιξη μου για να ζητήσω επιβεβαίωση, δεν έλαβα ποτέ απάντηση. Ευτυχώς, κατά την άφιξη μου, υπήρχε διαθέσιμο δωμάτιο και έτσι έμεινα τις 3 νυχτες που ειχα προγραμματίσει. Κατά τα άλλα, αρκετά καλό πρωινό, απο τις 7 το πρωι έως τις 11, μέτριο κρεβάτι καθώς το στρώμα βούλιαζε, καθημερινή καθαριότητα και αλλαγή πετσετών, πάντα ζεστό νερό, ευγένεια προσωπικού καθαριότητας. Πολύ καλό σημείο, απέχει μόλις 5 λεπτά απο τον ηλ. σταθμο του Αγίου Ελευθερίου. Υπάρχει supermarket ακριβώς απέναντι. Θα το χαρακτήριζα value for money και θα του έβαζα 3 (μέτριο) αν δεν υπήρχε η αναστάτωση με τη φασαρία... Ωστόσο το 2 (Ανεπαρκές) είναι το καλύτερο που μπορώ να δώσω μετά απο αυτή την εμπειρία που είχα

Breakfast is rich, children can have extra beds, convenient transportation at the intersection, next to the vegetable market and supermarket, very convenient. If you have any questions, you can get help from the hotel staff quickly. Good!

Overall Service was amazing. Everyone from the front desk to dining and maintenance were great. Front desk team helped me organize anything from transportation, tours and local places to eat that weren’t on the travel blogs. Rooms were great, maintenance helpful when needed. If you’re going to work and holiday at same time… definitely worth the extra dollars for a small suite. The private balcony was a nice relief and a great spot for room service one night with a cocktail. Oh… and while the dining area is not ‘alluring’ as outside seating locales… the spiced meat puff pastries (omg), cauliflower steak, and Sea Bass for dinner were outstanding! Enjoy!

I liked the location because it was quiet and not a noisy tourist area. I was able to visit major tourist attractions on foot. Even the subway station was close. There were delicious brunch restaurants, a coin laundromat, and a supermarket nearby, so it was convenient to use. This is a place I would like to recommend. I could always drink delicious coffee.

This is an exceptionally lovely place to stay in the centre of Athens. Walking distance to the Acropolis, Plaka District and all the fabulous restaurants. Very nice rooms and amenities with very friendly staff. Excellent service. Make sure you go up to the roof top bar for food and drinks with a fabulous night time view of the Acropolis and make sure you say hi to Marios… the best and friendliest of bar hosts!

Stayed for 5 nights, the location is perfect as there is a metro station right outside the hotel, which will take you to most of the major tourist sites. The hop on hop off bus stops right outside the hotel also, so if you are a tourist it's easy to get around from the hotel. As four ladies alone, we felt very safe and would get taxi's to and from hotel to go out in the evenings, which the helpful staff are happy to book for you. The breakfast is brilliant with lots of choices so you never get bored. We stayed in a standard room which was small but perfectly formed, with lovely decor and all the amenities you will need. The best thing about this hotel is the amazing rooftop pool, bar and restaurant. Our taxi driver from the airport told us it was amazing and many locals will go there particularly at the weekends. Staff are so friendly especially Denisa our lovely waitress, food and drinks are varied and very nice. I would stay here again if I'm coming to Athens.

This is an amazing hotel with an amazing staff. We were greeted and assisted with everything upon our arrival (check-in, bags, etc.) and everyone was very hospitable. The rooms are comfortable and are always clean. We did not use the rooftop pool, but the views were stunning from there (we could see the Acropolis), where they also have a restaurant and a bar. We ate at the restaurant and hung out at the bar some nights which was nice (good food and drinks), but be prepared to pay top hotel prices. The location of the hotel is convenient - it is right across from Syntagma Square, a popular meeting place for many scheduled activities. We also felt we could easily access surrounding neighborhoods, restaurants, and bars by walking from the hotel. Overall a great place to stay!

This was our first visit to Lux & Easy and it was a fantastic experience throughout. Location is excellent to get around Athens with a Metro and Tram stop a mere 5 minute walk from the accommodation and only 3 stops to Syntagma, 2 to Acropolis - location is a real hit. Amenities around are a few local mini markets, a few coffee outlets, bakeries etc - I’d recommend looking at google earth for a street view of your surroundings as if you’re explorers and what to venture out its great. If you want everything on your doorstep then I’d recommend elsewhere. The accommodation is superb. We were in room 61 which was set over two floors and had a hot tub on the balcony. As a family of four there was ample space, two bathrooms and a huge comfy bed for us to sleep on and the upstairs bedroom balcony had great views over the city. The rooms are in a two by two format over 6 floors so i believe there is only 12 rooms here - and this reflected in the quiet nature of the property. Would highly recommend!

Closer to the Acropolis, it is convenient to eat, drink, drink and go shopping. But the airport bus took to the Constitution Square and dragged the luggage or got a subway stop. The room is acceptable, classical style, and the bathroom is slightly smaller. On the street, the night is noisy and not too soundproof. The front desk service was good and the breakfast was quite rich.
