Their staffs just too good to be true. They're so details minded, polite, and smiling all the time. Their English & Chinese language skills are good enough to have a bit deep conversations - as to where to go for funs and to share their personal experiences with you. The facilities, swimming pool and steam room are basically like private places as most of the day time no one is really using them. If you are looking for a chill and relaxing holiday without having disappointments for the hotel, I think it's a good choice for you.

The location is not bad, close to the major attractions, making it very convenient to get around. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, providing warm and helpful service. The breakfast had a good variety and tasted great. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money, and I was very pleased with my experience. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Chiang Mai!

We got the family room, which was absolutely nothing like the beautiful, modern rooms in the main hotel, which the couple we were traveling with had and enjoyed. It was quite the opposite. Our room was in a connected building with a dark, shabby, un-attended entry. Simple railroad-style rooms were separated by curtains only, so parents have to walk through kids’ room to access the bathroom. The bathroom is oddly large and institutional, all tan and tile with stalls for multiple toilets and showers, reminiscent of a dorm. At night, bright lights shine through the windows all along one side of the room, even around the curtains — glass was frosted and windows unopenable. The room’s lounge area was not remotely comfortable for hanging out in. We still had access to the pool in the main hotel, but it is very, very small. And the cafe serving the little tables near it was never open (bring-your-own situation was fine, however). Good location and staff was kind. But for the price we paid and what the website showed/misrepresented, we expected much nicer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-week stay at ISTY. It's set in a neighborhood that felt safe to walk around in (though beware that there are no sidewalks in most of Chiang Mai so you have to be careful), and we really enjoyed nearby food stalls each evening as well as a full night market by the north gate. (By the way, there's vegetarian food at the far east side. And there are a couple of vegetarian eateries within walking distance, though I think only during lunch.) The rooms are basic (think shelves but not dressers) but clean and comfortable; beds are Thai style so firm. The co-working/meal area is fabulous, as is the rooftop bar; we spent a lot of time in the outdoor co-working/pool area but either wore long clothes or sprayed against mosquitoes (there were just a few, and an herbal rather than Deet spray was sufficient). The pool is gorgeous but shaded and on the cold side so we mainly looked at it haha. It was getting smoky as February went on (thank goodness for a couple fluke rainstorms that cleared the air for a few days), and there didn't seem to be much air filtration so our eyes were stinging even in our room--but I think that's true elsewhere throughout the region too.

Le Ville Lanna Boutique Hotel in Chiang Mai truly exceeded all expectations, offering an exceptional experience that left us in awe. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were captivated by its stunning modern architecture and state-of-the-art appliances that perfectly blend luxury with comfort. David and his mother, the attentive hosts, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfection. Their warm hospitality and wealth of knowledge about the local attractions made our trip truly unforgettable. They were always ready to advise us on the best places to visit, dine, and explore, enhancing our Chiang Mai adventure significantly. The hotel's location was a true gem, conveniently close to everything Chiang Mai has to offer. Just a quick 10-minute drive from the airport, we didn't waste any time getting to our luxurious haven. Moreover, we were delighted to find ourselves just 5 minutes away from the bustling walking markets, immersing ourselves in the vibrant local culture and flavors. As we took leisurely strolls around the area, we were delighted to find that the enchanting old town was merely a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Exploring the historical sites and charming streets became a daily ritual, and we cherished every moment of it. One aspect that stood out for us was the hotel's tranquil setting on a quiet road, surrounded by locals. The sense of safety and peace added to the overall serenity of the place, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploration. Our stay at Le Ville Lanna Boutique Hotel has truly been one of the best experiences we've had in Chiang Mai. We are already eagerly planning our next visit, as we can't wait to relive the wonderful memories and create new ones in this extraordinary haven. Thank you, David and the entire team, for making our stay so memorable and leaving us with an indelible impression of exceptional hospitality and beauty in Chiang Mai.

Great location for exploring downtown / old town, right next to the entry of a temple Phaya Yakkharaj (Southern Pavillion) and many other sights. On sundays you‘ve a huge night market right in front of your door step, so make sure you’re going to stay over the weekend. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Room amenities and the entire minibar incl. Snake is refilled daily free of charge. Furthermore there‘s a afternoon tea time with additional free snacks and drinks. Just the breakfast selection could be a bit wider. Especially when you have your breakfast close to closure (10:30am), you might be disappointed as not much will be refilled after 10am. The room are spacious and well equipped, my kids and I had 2303 & 2302. Just a proper hair drier is need, not this built in useless blowers we all know and hate to use. Also the provided pillows are ultra hard and high, so you may request for a extra soft feather pillow or neck support pillow if needed, which will be provided by the hotel staff / housekeeping. Hotel pool area is clean and well maintained! All over a great place to stay with reasonable pricing and great service!

GGuest UserLovely facility just steps from the heart of town. We had only one night there but wished we had booked it for the other. Staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us find activity in the countryside that we could undertake without participation in a group tour. Even went so far as to type up notes on a full page of paper with suggestions for activity as well as local coffee shops along the way in the countryside for us. Room was fantastic overlooking the pool with all amenities and even a pillow menu to choose from. Parking immediately below the hotel and simply a beautiful pool, hot tub, courtyard, and bar within the center of the hotel. The place has an interesting history and story stemming from the owner's family line. Again, great location for night market, restaurants, and access along the river. Great facility and great staff - highly recommended.

KKornpongI had an amazing stay at U Nimman Chiang Mai. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, right in the center of the vibrant Nimmanhaemin area, surrounded by cafes, boutiques, and within walking distance of MAYA Lifestyle Shopping Center. It’s a perfect base for exploring the lively atmosphere and cultural spots of Chiang Mai. The rooms were beautifully designed, combining a modern touch with traditional Lanna influences, making it feel both cozy and luxurious. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I loved the unique 24-hour check-in/check-out policy, which allowed us to maximize our stay. The hotel amenities were excellent, especially the rooftop pool, which offered great views of the city and mountains. Breakfast was diverse and delicious, featuring both local and international options. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very attentive, making the stay feel personalized and memorable. I’d highly recommend U Nimman to anyone visiting Chiang Mai for a stylish and convenient stay!

FFrench DudeFinding Phra Singh Village in Chiang Mai can be a bit tricky without GPS, as it's nestled within narrow alleys, but arriving at the hotel immediately surprises you with its beautifully wood-themed facade. The lobby, although small, is wonderfully decorated and fragranced with cinnamon, creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. The check-in process was exceptionally smooth—upon arrival, we were seated on a sofa, served a refreshing fruit juice welcome drink, and had our passports quickly processed. The hotel may be compact, but it is stunningly designed with extensive woodwork that adds to its charm. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring windows that actually open—an increasingly rare amenity. The minibar was well-stocked with both complimentary and paid options, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was top-notch, although the water was a bit too hot for my liking. One downside was the air conditioning, which only targeted the feet area, making it advisable to sleep with socks on to avoid getting cold. Surprisingly, a flashlight (which lacked batteries) was mounted on the wall next to the light switch. When asked, the staff explained that the region often experiences power outages during rainstorms, which accounts for this unusual provision. Breakfast was excellent overall, except for the omelettes, which were a bit too bland and pale for my taste. However, dining in the hotel's garden environment was truly delightful. The staff throughout our stay were outstanding, enhancing our experience with their attentive and friendly service. In conclusion, Phra Singh Village offers a blend of hidden charm and exceptional hospitality, making it a memorable place to stay despite its few quirks. Highly recommended for travelers seeking a unique and intimate experience in Chiang Mai.

AAtthawutL Nimman Boutique Hotel: A Mixed Bag in Chiang Mai's Trendiest Neighborhood Located in the heart of Chiang Mai's vibrant Nimmanhaemin area, L Nimman Boutique Hotel offers a budget-friendly option for travelers seeking a prime location without breaking the bank. Situated next to the popular Roast8ry Coffee Flagship Store, this 3-star hotel provides easy access to the area's numerous cafes, restaurants, and shops. Pros 1. Location: The hotel's position in Nimmanhaemin is unbeatable. You're within walking distance of countless dining options, trendy boutiques, and local attractions. 2. Value for Money: With rates under 1,500 baht per night, it's an affordable choice in an otherwise pricey neighborhood. 3. Comfortable Rooms: While not spacious, the rooms are well-appointed and cozy. The beds are notably comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. 4. Cleanliness: The guest rooms are impeccably clean, reflecting the hotel's commitment to hygiene standards. 5. Staff: The hotel personnel are friendly and attentive, providing good service throughout the stay. Cons 1. Public Restroom Issues: The most significant drawback was the state of the first-floor public restroom. On both occasions I used it, I encountered extremely unsanitary conditions, with unflushed toilets. This experience was deeply unpleasant and affected my overall stay negatively. The contrast between the cleanliness of the guest rooms and the state of the public restroom was stark and disappointing. This issue was so disturbing that it impacted my appetite for several days after the incident. It's worth noting that I reported this problem to the staff during check-out, hoping for improvement in the future. Despite this significant issue, the hotel's other positive aspects still make it a contender for future stays. The combination of its prime location, comfortable rooms, and budget-friendly rates are strong selling points. However, the management needs to address the cleanliness and maintenance of public areas, particularly the restrooms, to ensure a consistently positive experience for all guests. In conclusion, L Nimman Boutique Hotel has the potential to be a go-to budget option in Chiang Mai's trendiest area. If they can resolve the cleanliness issues in their public spaces, it could easily become a top choice for travelers seeking affordability without sacrificing location or basic comforts. As it stands, it's a mixed experience that requires careful consideration before booking.

GGuest UserMy most recent trip to Chiang Mai can only be described as magical and blissful and I have Vdara resort to thank for. My ideal place to stay was somewhere tranquil without the noise and stress of being too close to the city. It was so relaxing staying here. And the room was gigantic! The service staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. Breakfast upstairs was great and delicious and allowed me to start the day in a good mood. Even though it was nice and quiet, Vdara was still close enough to the main city area that I didn't feel inconvenient whatsoever. Getting a taxi or Grab was extremely easy and quick. I would definitely stay here again my next trip back to Chiang Mai.

GGuest UserPeople are the heart of any business. My family and I have now stayed at Huay Kaew Palace 2 on three separate occasions over a period of 10 years. For me, we keep coming back because the service provided has always been excellent. I will not speak for others, but I have never had a negative interaction with anyone associated with HKP2...ever. Focusing on our most recent stay, we arrived late on the evening of the first night of our reservation. The check in process took less than 15 minutes. The room and amenities were adequate for our purposes. The room was immaculately clean. The wifi and the television worked (although we did not use the television much). When we left, if we dropped off the key card at the front desk, our room would be cleaned while we were out. The desk and housekeeping staff are good at their jobs and always had a pleasant demeanor. Over the years, one change has occurred that I wish would come back -- in the past, a breakfast buffet was available. This is no longer the case. I understand that there are good reasons why this might be the case, but I enjoyed having breakfast in the downstairs lobby at the beginning of the day in the past. We travel to Thailand for one reason -- family. Our family in America s 7; our family in Thailand is 15. My wife's parents, her brothers and their wives and children all live very close to HKP2 and the hotel acts as a meeting place and central location from which all other activities originate. I foresee returning to the Huay Kaew Palace 2 as often as we travel to Chiang Mai as long as the standards of service remain as high as they have up to now. I have no negative opinions in relationship to my stays at this hotel.

GGuest UserThe whole house looks like a museum, everywhere are beautiful decorations, plants, hanging plants on the balconies, antiques or carvings. The room doors and partly the interior are beautifully painted. A well-kept swimming pool is in the middle of the hotel. There is free coffee and tea in the open lobby. TV in the room- a fridge would have been better. Unfortunately my room number 232 was the complete opposite. Dark, mini-balcony to the neighboring house about 1.5 m away, window into the dark hallway. No sunlight. No fridge, no closet, no shelf, no air conditioning just a fan. Just one bed, very hard mattress with stained sheets, one dirty chair with several generations of dirt on the cover. Just a makeup mirror with a table in front of it. Poor lighting, hard to read, no reading lamp, no bedside table etc. Floor was dirty, I had spilled water and wanted to wipe it up, my handkerchief was black. On the walls various hunting successes and various liquids that had run down there. The bathroom was okay, the shower faucet dripped non-stop. There was a water heater which was ok. Even the fresh towels smelled musty as soon as they got wet. There was no room service all week. If I needed fresh towels or toilet paper, I had to ask myself. There were 2 small bottles of shower gel and shampoo and a bar of soap. But that wasn't enough for 1 week. All around there were enough restaurants and bars, laundry service, etc. It was relatively far to the city, old town, center, Warorot market. I rented a bike on the main road for 50THB/day which was great. The staff was very friendly and I was allowed to put my medication in the drinks fridge in the lobby, as they say no room has a fridge or air conditioning. I was allowed to put my bike in the back entrance overnight. Unfortunately, none of this made up for the terrible room and lack of cleanliness. Too bad. The ambiance would have been great.
