Amazing staff, quiet, peaceful, tucked out of the way yet a short walk to everything that Ubud has to offer. The food offered by the hotel was excellent and actually quite reasonably priced, breakfasts were a feast! The rooms themselves are well appointed, comfortable (although the mattress was a little hard for our liking), bathroom and toilet facilities were great, housekeeping staff were first class - to be honest, apart from a slightly firm bed, we found it very difficult to fault this hotel. In fact, it would have to rate as the best we’ve stayed in over the years and as such, will be our choice when we next return in November 2023.

The highlight: 1. It is very recommended for honeymoon 2. If you're lucky, you will get a chance to see the monkey in the morning 3. The room.. will gave you some kinda tropical vibes but mixed with modern things that you need (alexa, smart tv, fast wifi, you name it) 4. The Wild Air Cafe is very recommended for romantic dinner 5. There is a view of car parking space, don't worry 6. The spa... you should try it! 7. Car parking space is limited but dont worry the staff will help you My only concern is you should put a big sign in front of the hotel because we're having difficulties to find the hotel using our rental car.

Staff were warm and welcoming. Rooms and bathroom were clean and spacious. We felt so pampered by them throughout our 4 days stay. We had to catch an early flight so we had to leave the hotel before they served breakfast. The hotel packed bread and fruits for us and even remembered my request for some lovely lime oranges which was not part of the breakfast they usually serve. Location was near monkey forest and monkey forest road where there are plenty of places for food and drinks as well as some shopping. Wished we had booked earlier so we could have gotten the villas instead of the second floor suites.

Deep thanks to the team for looking after us as best they could. They even organised roses at late notice. The location is one of the best in Ubud. Its outside the gourmet area. Best cuisines within a short walk. The resort in itself is amazing layout. They have looked after it well. Pro Location Layout and design and interior peaceful setting Staff friendly. Please note Bali service can be quite intrusive (always asking where you went and what you doing, when one is there over a long period it gets draining). Con room - we had the suite. There was a large komodo or a very big rat in attic. Its scary that they have not done enough pest control. This is not a jungle resort in that everything inside it man made and manned. Snake - we were hissed at by a snake in the field walking to the lobby. They really need to do better control of public safe spaces. The Assistant manager denied it but the team on duty confirmed to me there was a snake and they took it back to the lakes. It was likely my spirit guides talking to us 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Priest We did the melakut blessing prayer. The priest on duty was not the most honourable. He inappropriately touched my wife. I reported it to the manager and advice travellers even the holy man has desires. Be careful with your loved ones. Overall we had a great stayed but downed by awful incidents. I ranked the above incidents under cleanliness.

The 14-day Indonesian itinerary has the best user experience of any hotel I've stayed at. Facilities; Superior double room, on the first floor of the detached villa. The room type is good. There is a balcony directly facing the pond where you can see the water lilies and the fields in the distance. If you use the bathroom in the afternoon, you can really experience bathing in the sun. The big bed is super large, and sleeping alone is just the sense of sight of a princess bed. Food: Breakfast is very rich, mainly Western-style. If you have a good appetite, you don't need to think about lunch after breakfast. In addition, the hotel's meals are not expensive. If you don't want to go out for food, you can eat at the hotel. The waiter's service is also in place. From time to time, I will help you clean up the plate and ask you how you feel about the meal, which is very good. Transportation; The hotel is located near Ubud's monkey zoo, there is a shuttle bus to ubud palalce, or a 15-minute walk. Hotel also offers paid massage service

The cottage is extremely comfortable. The bathroom is spacious with a great shower and always had hot water. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Annie and Wayan extremely helpful. Breakfast is simple but tasty and served on your verandah at a time that suites you. A really charming place TheRealUBUD. Stayed for four days and became an unforgettable and enjoyable memory of Bali. Our husband and wife brought four parents and lived in this family cottage. The garden outside is very beautiful and the pool is clean. The family cabin is large inside, with a large living room, a small yard behind, and a small kitchen, which is the mother's favorite. The bathroom, washbasin and bath are separate, so the four of us are not nervous. There is a welcome drink, and there is a free afternoon tea with different snacks every day. Three minutes walk is the Monkey Forest Park, 20 minutes to the Royal Palace and other downtown areas, very convenient. Going out to the right hand has a restaurant (picture 7), good quality and cheap, beer and supermarket prices, we have been there to eat. Going forward and there is a small school, the street is quiet and beautiful, you can walk and watch the sunset. The service of this hotel is also very good. It also has a comfortable spa in the hotel, which is also cheap. It is the most cost-effective hotel in my 11-day tour in Bali. Not enough. Strongly recommend it to everyone.

Staff are really attentive and resort is clean. Good breakfast selection. There are 3 small pools around resort so easy to select one although limited beds as most are linked to the villas on ground floor with pool access. The resort is situated outside of Ubud main town so recommend a taxi to take you there which is only £6 ish but worth it. Mopeds are also available in abundance if you choose. Note, Bali is inundated with motorcycles and with little to no traffic laws they are everywhere - it feels a bit like playing Russian roulette dodging them! Much better selection of restaurants and bars in the town as well as local markets which are open in evening’s up by the royal palace. You can experience a dance show at the palace each evening from 7pm. Only a few bars and eateries on the small street where resort is positioned so limited choice of where to go and be aware everything shuts around 10pm. There’s also a Tiny shop run by an old guy who is lovely. We popped in for a bottle of water but didn’t have small enough change so he let us take it and go back the day after to pay him - needless to say we bought more the following day and gave him double the price for his kindness! The monkey forest is literally 100metres from resort so you do have monkeys frequently on road and sometimes in resort. Overall we enjoyed our short stay here. It was a great insight into Balinese culture and we learnt a lot from the lovely local people.
