We had a really nice stay overall. The hotel is comfortable, and the staff are incredibly friendly and respectful. They greet guests warmly every time, which made us feel very welcome. Food was nice, very good service provided in the restaurant. They also provided free bikes for hotel guests to travel around Nusa Dua. However, one area that really needs improvement is the swimming pool. Given that the private pool is one of the main reasons travelers choose a villa in Bali, it was disappointing to find the water quality quite poor. The surrounding area is beautiful, with plenty of trees and bushes, but the pool itself was not clean and appeared to lack proper filtration. Swimming in it was not a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, even the main pool had similar issues, with leaves and flowers frequently floating in the water. Another suggestion would be to install insect-repellent lighting around the villa’s resting areas. The outdoor space has great potential for relaxation, but due to the number of mosquitoes, it was difficult to sit there for more than a few minutes without getting bitten. With some improvements in these areas, this hotel could offer an even better experience.

😄👊🏻 This was the first accommodation for our Bali honeymoon, and it was an absolute success! We actually hesitated a lot between this place and The Kayon Jungle Resort, which is very popular among travelers. However, we wanted a cleaner and more private experience, so we chose the Cicada Resort. As soon as we arrived, the staff welcomed us with a traditional Balinese ceremony, including tying a bracelet around our wrists, which made us feel truly special. The main public pool was almost empty, so we enjoyed it so privately that it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We had dinner at the resort's restaurant. They host different performances every evening at 7 PM, such as jazz or traditional dances. On the night we stayed, we got to watch a traditional Balinese dance, making our romantic dinner even more perfect with great sights and delicious food. The next morning, we joined the complimentary yoga class. The instructor was amazing—giving detailed posture corrections and even helping us take the best photos of our trip! If you want to avoid crowded places and are looking for perfect privacy and tranquility, I highly recommend this resort. You definitely have to visit!
