A wonderful hotel close to the river and jungle, very quiet and with beautiful nature. The hotel stuff is exceptional friendly and helpful. The food is very delicious and the restaurant stuff very nice, helpful fullfilling your requests. We felt extremely welcome there. Not recommend this place. So old and low quality. Over priced too. I will not come back for sure. Sorry, but it’s true. Many beautiful place in Ubud

River side pool villa was awesome. Well curated rooms. Villa was cleaned twice. Ultimate choice for romantic holiday. Privacy can be further enhanced.

The location is great, the view is outstanding! The Restort is old and dated, needs renovation. Prices are litle high for what has offer now!

Nice area but that’s it that’s what you get there. Our room wasn’t ready till 5pm then we go out and come back about 2 hrs and want to have a dinner at restaurant they told us it’s fully booked and we can have a dinner after 9PM. We ask for water water and they told us the house keepers already left . We never go back there Massage was over $150 Australian Internet was terrible I don’t think we never go back there again

The hotel is rated 5 stars but it has nothing of a 5 star hotels. The room decoration was quite old with the shower window broken, night lamp partially working and big mud stain on the wall! We asked to change the room and they offered a downgrade instead of an upgrade! The Staff was gentle!

The houses are incredible, the location beautiful. Very peaceful . Perfect experience !

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location great and near to Ubud center. The villa was so old unfortunately, there’s water coming from the bathroom selling and the smell is horrible because of old wood and humidity compilations! The bugs yes everywhere, I understand it’s in the middle of forest but there’s ants coming from the wood wall! Also the lights where so weak and depressing! The villa kind of dark ! There was a public swimming pool also, and we had private pool at our villa but it’s so cold due to no Sun ray can reach it( indoor pool) . The message really amazing with big open window front the forest! The view from the villa was phenomenal! They have one restaurant but with delicious food and clean! The gym was closed! But there’s a good news for you! They’re doing a renovation, it’ll take approximately 1 year to finish all villas! So for me I believe I’ll come back for sure after the renovation!

It is a nice place to stay! I enjoyed the food and the scenery. All the staffs are friendly and helpful. I will definitely miss my time in kupu kupu barong!

The hotel is not ready to welcome guests. No facilities to be enjoyed except the spa. Swimming pool is closed. Water heater in the villa is not working, after maintenance still not working properly. The shower was poor. Some dirt on the bed. I woke up at 4 am because of an insect went in my ear, after 2 hours finally It came out. I checked the bed and found some living insects. Maybe this hotel suffered a lot because if the pandemic

First of all, the price is reasonable and the location is not bad However, the facilities are old and the breakfast is not very good The water in the pool was cold so I couldn't enjoy it properly

Although it is far from the center of Ubud, you can enjoy the feeling of being a resort surrounded by nature. It was a shame that there were some leftovers left on the cup saucer from the previous guest.

The family room is large and uniquely decorated. It is surrounded by a village and has no obvious boundary with the hotel. The restaurant is a bit tight and requires a reservation, but it tastes good. Spectacular river valley views with tall and lush plants.
